am writing to raise a serious complaint regarding the highly unprofessional handling of my recent shipment, which contained a valuable item (a laptop), sent via your premium courier service.
A few days ago, I sent this parcel from Muzaffarpur to my office location. Despite opting for a premium service and paying all applicable charges, the shipment has not been delivered even after multiple days, and the experience since then has been extremely distressing.
I received a call stating that the delivery could not be completed as the delivery executive was unable to locate the address. However, no attempt was made to contact the receiver, which is unacceptable. I explicitly offered to assist by coordinating with the delivery person and sharing contact details, but no proper follow-up was done.
Subsequently:
I was informed that the parcel would be reattempted for delivery, which did not happen.
I was later told that the parcel would be sent back to the origin (Muzaffarpur) due to internal issues, and I was clearly assured that I would not be charged again since the fault was from DTDC’s end.
Today, I received a call from another DTDC representative who spoke in an extremely rude and unacceptable manner, refused to cooperate, and declined my calls repeatedly despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue.
There was also a misunderstanding regarding the receiver’s availability, which was clarified within minutes through a conference call. The receiver confirmed willingness to accept the parcel at the office address. Despite this, the delivery executive refused to reinitiate delivery.
Additionally, when tracking the shipment using the shipment ID, it shows that the parcel has been returned to the sender. However, I have not received the parcel, which raises serious concerns about its whereabouts and safety.
This entire experience reflects:
Lack of accountability
Poor communication
False commitments
Extremely unprofessional behavior from your staff
I would like to clearly state:
I will not bear any additional charges for re-delivery as the issue is entirely from DTDC’s end.
I need immediate clarification on the current status and exact location of my parcel.
I request urgent action to deliver the parcel to the intended address or refund me my money so that i can send it again
Given the value of the item involved, this matter is extremely serious. If not resolved promptly, I will be compelled to escalate this issue further through appropriate consumer grievance channels.
Please note- I have tried connecting the customer supports several times, they are also declining the calls in the middle of the conversation
Kindly treat this as urgent and respond at the earliest.
