Do not let this person near your dog. I took my 3 1/2 year old long haired chihuahua, Cooper, to my clinic for an allergy shot. This person was the visiting vet. He did not draw the medicine, the vet tech did. When he injected it into Cooper, Cooper screamed and dropped dead. The so called vet just stood there. When I asked him what was going on, he said, oh, dogs have heart attacks and die all the time. He never showed any remorse, never said he was sorry or anything. It has been two years and I am still in the middle of a lawsuit. By law in Florida, the vet must draw the medication. He either injected Cooper w/ the wrong medicine, gave the shot too quickly or gave it to him in the wrong place. Please, do not let a visiting vet ever "take care" of your baby.

DR. KOULIANOS was wonderful, he's done emergency surgery on my Lhasa Apso and also has helped me many times. I felt like he was family, he always treated me and my dog with the upmost respect, kindness and care. I have moved to another state and I still consult with him on major pet issues. I'm sorry the person with the complaint lost their pet. However, I know for a fact, through years of experience Dr. Koulianos is an amazing veterinarian.

DR. KOULIANOS IS A VERY WELL RESPECTED AND TRUSTED VETERINARIAN! That's why your veterinarian felt comfortable inviting him in to the practice in the first place. COOPER WAS RECEIVING MEDICATION WITH A LONG LIST OF SIDE EFFECTS THAT YOU WERE VERY WELL AWARE OF AND YET YOU CONTINUED TAKING HIM BACK FOR MORE. We veterinary technicians and pet nurses are allowed to prepare medications that the doctor orders. There is no law that says otherwise, so you might want to check your facts. The rest of your argument doesn't make sense either to anyone who has any experience. I agree with the last vet tech 100%. We all understand the grief of losing a pet, but using the internet to smear someone else without any accountability is petty and selfish!

Vet Techs are allowed to pull up medications once the Doctor has calculated the correct dosages. Vet techs are also allowed to give medications, including injections . I apologize your pet passed, but As a vet tech- I have seen a pet pass away due to the stress of veterinary visit.
