I understand that Dollywood cannot operate when it is lightening out; however, when they take over $500 for a family of 4 for passes- they should issue rain checks until you can actually spend a day in the park. We bought passes for the time we were spending in Pigeon forge. They issued a rain check for the day we tried to go and so we tried to come back the next day and use our rain check (last day of this visit) and it is lightening again. They will not issue a rain check on a rain check, so you are just out of luck. If we had gotten a rain check, I would not be mad, would probably have brought money in by coming back in the fall and purchased an additional ticket so that we had 2 days. Now I will not be returning at all. Dollywood- you should do better for the families that come to visit and get better service and managers at the ticket windows- your safety trainer who was putting herself out to be a manager has a rude, resting grinch face and an attitude.
Recommendation: Go somewhere better
