I went to Denkai Sanctuary and it was a really cool place. They have lots of animals there, like dogs, cats, horses, and even some cows. I think they do a really good job taking care of all the animals. They have big fields for the horses to run around in and lots of toys for the dogs to play with.

I talked to some of the people who work there and they told me that they try to save as many animals as they can. They take in animals that have been abandoned or abused and try to find them new homes. They also have a program where they help people who can't afford to take care of their pets. They give them food and medical care so that they can keep their pets.

I think it's really important to take care of animals and I'm glad that Denkai is doing such a good job. If you're looking for a place to volunteer or donate to, I would definitely recommend Denkai. They're doing important work and they could use all the help they can get.

One thing I will say is that the place could use a little bit of sprucing up. Some of the buildings and fences looked a little bit old and worn down. But I think that's just because they're focusing on taking care of the animals first and foremost. And honestly, the animals all looked really happy and healthy, so that's what really matters.

Overall, I had a really good experience at Denkai and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves animals. They're doing important work and they could use all the support they can get.

Denkai Sanctuary is a great place for animals that may not have a home otherwise. The people who work there are so passionate about helping these animals, even if they may be considered unadoptable. I personally have adopted two dogs from Denkai Sanctuary and they are absolutely perfect. The staff really cares about the animals and it shows in the way they treat them. They provide a safe and loving environment for these animals to live in. I would highly recommend Denkai Sanctuary to anyone looking to adopt a pet or support a great cause.

So I heard about this place called Denkai Sanctuary and I gotta say, I wasn't impressed. They sent a German Shepherd all the way from Cortez to Thornton CO with a broken leg. They promised to get the dog surgery, but they haven't even bothered to call the foster back. That poor pup is in pain and it's just not right.

To make matters worse, they didn't even give the dog any food or a crate. I mean, come on, how hard is it to provide basic necessities for an animal in need? It's just plain neglectful.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend Denkai Sanctuary to anyone looking to adopt or foster a pet. They clearly don't care about the well-being of the animals they're supposed to be helping.

This place ain't good, man. I don't trust Floss Blackburn, she ain't no good leader. I don't know where all the money is goin', but I got a feelin' it ain't goin' to the animals like it should be. If you're lookin' to adopt, find somewhere that shows you where the money is goin'. This place ain't it, trust me.

I recently applied to adopt a furry friend from Denkai Sanctuary and was initially thrilled to receive approval for adoption. However, my excitement was short-lived as I was later informed by Tracy that there were other adopters ahead of me. I was confused and disappointed as I had already been approved and was eager to welcome my new companion into my home.

Despite this setback, I was contacted by Dallas who had precious in her home and asked if I was still interested in adopting. I was overjoyed and eagerly awaited the adoption contract. Unfortunately, I did not hear back from Dallas and was informed that she no longer worked for Denkai. I was then directed to Alaina who was very sweet and helpful.

I filled out the adoption contract and submitted it back to Alaina. She informed me that she needed to speak to her boss, who was on vacation at the time, to get permission to use a vehicle to meet me somewhere so I could pick up precious. However, I was later contacted by Tracy again who informed me that there were a few adopters ahead of me. I was frustrated and confused as I had already been approved and was ready to welcome precious into my home.

I pleaded with Tracy to reconsider and explained that precious would be paired with my autistic daughter and would receive special training to become a service animal. I had already arranged for vet care and everything was set up for precious to come home with us. Despite my efforts, Tracy did not budge and I was left feeling hopeless.

I reached out to Floss, the owner of Denkai, but unfortunately, she was on vacation. I texted her to explain the situation and did not receive a response. I understood that she was on vacation, but I was disappointed that she did not take the time to address the issue.

I messaged Floss again on Saturday and finally received a response. She promised to look into the matter and get back to me, but I did not hear from her until Monday afternoon. At this point, I was losing my patience and felt that I had been more than patient with the situation.

I texted Floss again and expressed my frustration. I explained that I had five special needs people in my home and three dogs, two of which were service animals for my autistic children. I threatened to write reviews and call the news to express my disappointment with Denkai's discriminatory behavior.

To my surprise, Floss responded quickly and accused me of no longer being interested in adopting precious. She threatened legal action for defamation of character, which was not my intention at all. I was simply expressing my disappointment with the situation.

Overall, I am disappointed with my experience with Denkai Sanctuary. I was approved for adoption, but was later informed that there were other adopters ahead of me. I was then directed to different people and was left feeling hopeless and frustrated. I hope that Denkai can improve their communication and adoption process in the future.

I recently had an experience with Denkai Sanctuary that I feel compelled to share with others who may be considering donating to this rescue. As a foster, I was asked to take in a cat that Floss had found. I was happy to help out, as I had heard good things about this rescue. However, my experience with them was far from positive.

Firstly, I was asked to pay over $300 for a vet bill that the rescue should have covered. Floss had approved the procedures and assured me that the rescue would pay for them, but this was not the case. As a foster, I was already providing food and supplies for the cat, so this unexpected expense was a significant burden.

Looking back, there were several red flags that I should have noticed. For one, Floss never checked my background before handing over the cat. This was concerning, as anyone could have posed as a foster and taken advantage of the situation. Additionally, Floss told me that the cat was female, when it was very clearly male. This lack of basic animal knowledge was worrying.

Furthermore, I was not provided with any supplies for the foster cat, which is unusual compared to other rescues I have worked with. I had to find a vet that would give a discount to the rescue, and even then, the bill was not paid promptly. When I asked for the cat's information to be posted on the rescue's website, I was ignored multiple times.

In the end, I had to fundraise to cover the vet bill and find the cat a forever home. This was a frustrating and time-consuming process, and it made me question where the donations to Denkai Sanctuary were actually going. If fosters are expected to cover food, supplies, and vet bills, and there is a $100 adoption fee, where is the money going?

I cannot say for sure whether Denkai Sanctuary is a fraud, but my experience with them was not positive. I would recommend donating to other rescues, such as La Plata County Humane Society or Paw Placement, who are doing excellent work and using donations to help animals in need. Beware of Denkai Sanctuary and consider donating elsewhere.
