Delmarva Buildings

On 4/1 we signed a contract with Delmarva Buildings to put up a 24'x24' pole building. It took a while, until 9/10, for construction to finally begin. The delay happened because we had to wait for county inspections and permits to come through. The building construction itself went pretty smoothly, except for the garage doors. They took a while to arrive and be installed. It wasn't until 12/3 that they were put in. Unfortunately, we were in FL for the winter and couldn't be there to see it in person. They sent us a picture on my phone, and it looked good on the small screen. But when they contacted us about the final payment, the rep noticed on her big screen that the door panels didn't match. Each door had 4 horizontal panels, and 3 of them matched while 1 was different. And the different one was in a different position on each door. They said they would fix it, but we haven't heard anything since. On 3/7/22, we offered a proposal to settle by accepting the doors as they were and making the final payment for the original amount in the contract. This amount didn't include the extra cost from the material price increase. The rep said she couldn't agree to it herself, but she would pass it on to the management team. We didn't hear anything back, so on 5/18/22, we contacted the rep again. She said she had forwarded it and would contact them again. We also reached out to the salesperson we initially dealt with. He didn't know about the problem and said he would look into it and get back to us. We told him about our proposal and said if they accepted it, we would send the final payment that very day. But we're still waiting to hear back from them.
