A kid came to the door with a yellow vest, no city permit badge to solicit. I ignored doorbell but my visiting daughter was cornered into his sales pitch even though she told him she is not the homeowner. She gave my cell phone number under pressure. So I called him over from next door and I told him close up that we used to be with Curbside and had such horrific customer service over payments that were not received on their end via online. They kept telling us we were paying to the wrong account. Then they would skip picking up our trash. Well, one hour later I got a text stating thank you for signing up for Curbside services. I blocked and reported spam. I thought that was the end of it. This morning at 6:30 AM I hear noise in street and see a Curbside van dropping off their bin. I shout out the window that they have the wrong address. The man crankily replies, "I have the right address. You just don't want it." I tell him I have zero dealings with Curbside and he drags it away. The lack of professionalism in that reply says it all. Now I have to call and make sure I am not billed based solely on a kid intimidating my daughter to give my cell phone number. I DID NOT sign up for their service. They are like a virus.
