Purchased a YSL Lou camera bag. wonder if it was authentic and the piping started to peel after four months and the zipper changed colour. Contacted the company who provided my so called authenticity certificate through cosette- they kindly provided the link to my cert which was different to that provided by cosette- they asked me to contact cosette to ask why the photos were different on the cert I received with bag! then I thought somethings fishy here.

Got my bag authenticated by another reputable company. And yep it came back counterfeit- $1700 later.

Sent bag back and demanded refund and provided cosette with counterfeit certificate . Didn’t even hesitate to refund me nor did they even email back about my request other than “we approve your return.” if you want to run the risk of wasting your money buying a possible fake bag go ahead but I wouldn’t waste my time and stress with this company.

So, I came across Cosette (cosette.com.au) few months back and saw quite a few positive reviews and decided to buy a bag from them. Recently, a friend of mine purchased a similar bag from Gucci and when she showed it to me, I noticed that the dust bag was different. Hers came in white while mine came in brown. Is this normal? I've bought other Gucci items before and they all came in white dust bags. Adding to that, the authentication number on my bag was handwritten, which made me even more unsure about the authenticity of the bag.

So, let me tell you about my experience with Cosette. I bought a YSL Toy Lou Lou from them and had to return it because of a previous issue with a Prada bag that I also purchased from them. After receiving my new bag, it broke within half an hour, and I had to send it back for repairs. It's been over two months now, and I still haven't received my bag. The worst part is, they're not keeping me updated on what's happening with my bag, and they've started ignoring my emails and calls.

It's incredibly frustrating because I spent over $1700 dollars on this bag, and now I don't even have it in my possession. The customer service used to be helpful in the past, but now it seems like they don't even care about fixing my issue. I'm at my wit's end and have decided that I will never be purchasing from Cosette again.

I've even had to contact NSW trading and ACCC to hopefully resolve this issue because it's unacceptable for a business to treat their customers like this. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the lack of communication and willingness to fix the problem is just unacceptable. I hope that others don't have to go through the same thing, and I would strongly advise against buying from Cosette if you don't want to risk a similar experience.

I wanted to get my hands on a YSL bag so I decided to check Cosette, an online store, since it seemed all legit to me. But I found a lot of reviews claiming that their YSL bags are fake. Even though my order was already delivered, I sat for hours comparing the bag I received with my other original YSL bag I had bought from a physical store. To my dismay, the differences were quite apparent. The lettering on the tassel attached to the bag had a black background which was completely black unlike the lighter stained one on the original. Even the zippers were shaped differently and the gold hardware seemed cheap. Also, the weight of the tassel was lighter than the one I had previously.

They did not bother to communicate with me about the delays and I was left in the dark about when my item would arrive. When my handbag finally arrived, I discovered it was a fake bag. I'll give a 0 star for the counterfeit item and a 5 star for the prompt and no-fuss refund. In the end, it was such a waste of time and money having to authenticate the bag. I'm just happy that Cosette did not create unnecessary drama or made the whole thing a spectacle to deal with.

I used to work for a fancy leather goods place until early this year. Part of what I had to do was take care of the customers and arrange for any repairs if needed. It was pretty fun, all in all. However, I had more than one person show up with a bag for restoration or complaining about a gift they got or one they purchased from Cosette with a "real" certificate and receipt. As a part of my job, I had to retain copies of those papers for the claims, so I took a look at them.

Surprise, surprise. Those handbags were really good bogus items, really close to the real deal but still off. Little things like patchy quality or minor details were the kind of things that would call attention to it from a normal glance. But to someone experienced with it, the bags did not feel right when you held them. And when I got to the brand's legitimate verification tests, they did not pass.

Cosette had the nerve to tell customers that the maker of the bags were lying when confronted about it!

But why would an official store bother selling a genuine item with a discount of more than 20 percent? That just doesn't make any sense!

So not only did those clients end up with a bad, low-quality item, but they also had to deal with having their relationships with the gift giver affected.

It's suspicious to me that Cosette's authentication process is not official nor does it follow any of the brand's criteria; just an algorithm in a computer that picks out which items are the most likely to be fake.

I saw too many items that were not real to believe that it's by chance. If you're planning on buying anything from this shop, do so with caution.
