This company is a scam, yet Gulf News Appointment has placed many job ads on behalf of them despite of many people complaining about their scam.
please dont give them 100 dhs or 150 dhs which they usually ask for, they are only making money on you.
They do not have any real jobs to offers anyone, they just make up fake interview calls and ...you are never selected by the client!..

I have live in UAE more than 20 years and have seen agencies like these steal your money by running 'illegal' business of charging you any kind of fees, before you visit such agencies please read this ..

"Recruitment Agencies warned against collecting fees from job-seekers
The Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of Labour, Humaid Bin Deemas, said that it is illegal to collect fees from jobseekers as it is against the Labour Law and agencies getting into such practices will be shut down.
Bin Deemas mentioned that charging fee from job-seekers for acting as a broker between employers and the job-seeker is considered illegal not only under the law of UAE, but also under the international law and the ministry has the right to shut down all agencies involved in such an act.
The Minister of Labour, Dr. Ali Abdullah Al Ka’abi, has expressed anger over the manner in which such recruitment agencies are operating and mentioned that any individual who has fallen as a victim to such agencies should report to the ministry immediately. As an initiative to stop such practices, the Ministry has stopped granting licenses to any new companies for two years."

Guys i received a call from core elements on 09th March 2010. One girl name Joana told me that you are short listed for a job in a multinational company and she did not mention the name of the company saying its confidential and this is the first and final interview. And then latter on send me an sms of the location to come for an interview on 10th March 2010. I just went to search this company on the internet and found out this website with everyone complains. I still did go there at 10.30 a.m for an interview and i was surprised to see atleast 30 people waiting for interview. When my turn came the interviewer Afshan Sheikh called me and she said you have been shortlisted and she needs to process my CV and she would start working on my CV and would modify it as per the clients requirement and she would charge me 300 Dhs. At that moment i told her that my CV is just perfect and i do not want anything less or more to that. She said no without modifying the CV it would be difficult to get the job. I at once realised that these people are after money and walked out of the office. The sad part is that this girl Afshan Shiekh wont even have half of my qualification and she wanted to modify my CV. She also took my latest CV. I think these people collect everyones CV and learns how to write a CV. I would advise the interviewer to modify her own CV and start looking out for a job where she is actually fit for ...

i can still remember when i went for an interview last year...
paid up aed 150 and did not get any useful info from them afterwards...
and it's sad to see all these comments about people being duped...
these are desperate times indeed...
and despite these complaints, how come that a fraud such as Core Elements
could still be using the same contact numbers and still get so many people lining up?

What a coincidence, i just received a call from CORE ELEMENTS calling me for an interview after reading this I am so assured that these guys are a SCAM and CONMEN! And whoever disagrees and says they are a true and reliable Recruitment or management consultancy, then just know that she or he is one of the employees or the OWNER HERSELF of the CORE ELEMENTS MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY trying to defend the fake company! Guys, no matter how desperate you are looking for a job, dont even try here they are LIARS and NOT EVEN ASHAMED!
I asked the lady over the phone who called me for an interview to send me an email with location and she's like "you know we just moved to a new location and our systems havent been settled yet" Are they forgetting that WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND? Do they forget their morals, humanity, principals and religion? SHAME ON THEM and sorry to the guys who have been scammed and for the rest, KEEP OFF!

Number 1 cheater company...is CORE ELEMENTS MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY...They took 300dhs from me last week and now when i m following up for my application status, they are not responding. Not answering the calls and not replying to mails. After making me fool, they again called me for interview today...please be aware of management consultancy's. Most of them just want to make money and dont have any job opportunities for anyone. They will take the names of big big companies like Canon etc but actully everything is FAKE.

I too got a call this morning, since i have been cheated by them once (the company was in Deira) noe it is in shaik zayed road.however i will not be going since I found the same number as somebody commended [protected].this is the number i recevived a call from.

we can't stop fraud's in this world only thing to save yourself is to research properly before attending the interview and just incase you happen to attend anything by mistake and they ask you for money, don't pay them.

one more suggestion, if you disperately want to look for jobs ask your friends to recommend you for a job in their company, at this resession time only word of mouth works.

and towards the end i will tell you there are some good consultancies like Lobo, Gulftalent etc.

If they call youfor interview you can trust them they dont demand money then again getting through will totaly depend on your talent and ability.

love you all and keep smiling.

I received a call this morning, the lady asked me to come for an interview tomorrow at 10am. they sent me the details through sms. I've asked the lady from where did they get my details she said one of their client gave it to them. then I asked her again if this is a COMPANY or AGENCY? because I told her, I dont go for agency. The lady told me it's a trading company and her BOSS really like my profile and they are willing to give a good salary for me. that's why I was confused, so i decided to check this company in GOOGLE. Thanks GOD and for those people who posted their comments about this company. Atleast they saved me from those kind of people who don't have a heart. FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO'S WORKING IN THIS COMPANY ALWAYS REMEMBER THIS " WHAT GOES AROUND, COMES AROUND" YOU STILL HAVE A CHANCE TO LOOK FOR ANOTHER JOB! LEAVE THIS COMPANY ATLEAST BY DOING THAT YOU WILL HELP SO MANY PEOPLE.

I agree as my friend and I were also asked to pay, and as we were both new to the UAE, we ended up paying and it's been a year. What I do not understand is that if it is illegal and they have been so many complaints, why isn't there any action being taken against them, why are they still allowed to function and why are newspapers still advertising their jobs? It's such a shame.

YES...definetely TRUE it's a SCAM...last February 2, 2010 i got a call from a lady at around 07:00 pm or 08:00 pm and this is the number ([protected]). She told me that i was shortlisted for one of the multinational company such as an IT Company in freezone. She said that my salary will be AED 8000 exclusives of accomodation and transportation, annual ticket, medical and other benefits. (WOW...)
and lastly she said that they are inviting me for an interview, February 3, 2010 and they will send sms for the exact location of their office.

After half an hour i received an sms saying: CORE ELEMENTS, Grosvenor Commercial Tower, 23 floor, room 2310, before Crown Plaza along Sheikh zayed road. Look for Ms. Tehmina Faraz ([protected]). For more details please log-on to www.coreelementsmc.com...(sounds legal but its ILLEGAL...why? google the website and the number, it will give you lots of true to life comments...) by the way to continue my story...

I went for an interview with my husband, while reaching the CORE ELEMENTS office there is a male indian receptionist. He ask me if this is my first time to be interviewed by them, and i said yes. He then told me to sit for a while and then he told my husband to go down to the ground floor and wait for me...(it makes me think twice and actually a bit scared...that is the first time i've encountered that kind of approach, normally if you acompany your friend, ur sister, ur brother, ur wife or husband etc...they can stay on that floor only, or seats somewhere on that floor...but they don'y allow!

Before i forgot when the receptionist told my husband to wait for me in the ground floor, i gave my bag to my husband and what i have is my mobile phone only. So, here we go...the interviewer came Ms. Faraz, when i saw her i almost lost my interest for an interview (she looks like a malnourish nanny, really sorry to say but it's TRUE...but ME, she look at me from head to toe (thinking maybe if she can cheat me or not...hehehhe)
Her interviews was so simple, she talks fast that somehow you will not understand what she is talking about.
At the middle of our conversation she told me that, if i am interested in that multinational company my salary will be AED 5000 exclusives of accomodatio and transportation. But when i ask her of the company name she does not want to disclosed it to me.

At the end of our conversation she gave me a piece of paper to fill-in and sign and to pay AED 200. (see it's AED 200 now maybe bcoz it's 2010 now, new rate from 2009 it was only AED 150...hahahah) But i insist to read it first before i sign. I did not even finish reading it and i asked her if i can bring the paper and gave me sometime to think. But she insist as it is a confidential paper between me and her ONLY...hmnnn sounds familiar...So, as my alibi or excuse i told her that i did not bring my wallet with me and really i don't want to pay any single fil, if they are a legal company THEY MUST BE THE ONE WHO WILL SPEND MONEY FOR ME, NOT ME WHO WILL SPEND MONEY FOR THEM...

A SIMPLE ADVISE: if you beleive on what i've said, and if you got a call from them please do not go for an interview watsoever...but for those who are on doubt, just go for an interview but don't pay any single fil.
BE SMART ENOUGH...

Franchesca:(

I think the best way of protecting other people is to agree to go for the interview, BUT don't actually turn up. I believe that the staff who calls needs to get a certain number of people for interviews, so by saying 'Yes', we can try to fill up the spaces.

By the way, I heard they send people to 'Mogul' for training. Their training fee also happens to be AED 150/-

Maybe they are taking money from here to pay there. Has anyone been to 'Mogul' ? Can you please provide the address ? What if the two cpm[anies are linked ?

If someone has the spare time, can they also reach the area and try to spread the message. Just provide the link to this page, so the new candidates can check before actually paying.

We can form a group that can do this.

Thanks for the insight people, 12 pages of complaints can't be fake or for the sake of attacking a recruitments agency which helps people get jobs.

Note: I never sent my CV to them before, neither did I e-mail or visit their website at any point in time to give them any personal contact details.

I got a call on Thursday 28th, telling me very similar information as to everyone else, such as:

We have a vacant position for u. (Nice, I like to hear I have some hope for a new job now - Step 1 Complete)
It's in a Freezone (Niiiiice, I like to feel safe about transfering without NOC issues and current employer problems - Step 2 Complete)
It happens to be a much better package than what I'm getting, by far much better. (Perfect, dream job images in my head - Step 3 Complete)
Notice period? (Cool, they can give me time to leave in peace and settle stuff with current employer - Step 4 Complete)
Location issues? (Oh how sweet, they seem to care about where I wanna feel at home at with work - Step 5 Complete)

So far these 5 steps as far as I see it, are very important steps to make sure you DEFINITELY come to the interview whether u want to or not.

Now the following is really weird

They will SMS me the details of the interview location, date, interviewer ad so forth.
This is surprising because in my few years of work and changing jobs in the UAE, ALLLLLLL companies recruitment and employers themselves ALWAYS sent EMAIL with LOCATION MAPS and APPLIED FOR JOB TITLE and INTERVIEWER and INTERVIEWER DESIGNATION and INTERVIEW EXACT TIME and OFFICE NUMBERS.

However their SMS was a blunt suspicious 'Office #2309, 23rd Floor, Grosvenor Commercial Office Tower, before Crown Plaza, same bldg of Noor Islamic Bank. Contact number [protected] (which according to their website happens to be the contact number of 'Customer Care alternative No') and I thought that was the number of the interviewer according to what she said, and the interviewer name, Ms. Tehmina Faraz.

So...

12 pages of complaints, + a professional HR designated employee I know in person, telling me they're fraud and he was asked to pay an amount to them for opening a file for future job vacancies that pass by them.

That's fair enough reason for me to be convinced that they're fraud and scam.

If I go tomorrow, for the sake of confirming to myself & everyone what and how they are, I will repost a comment on the issue. If not, all these pages and words spread by people are good enough to convince me.

Hi, Not only this, now-a-days, 90% of the consultancy are doing samething, e.g., Dubai Gate Management Consultancy, Future Management Consultancy and so on. The UAE Government should take necessary steps to regulate them and ban forged consultancy otherwise the more job seeker who is really suffered in their life will be cheated. Please, dont give any amount by the way of Registration Fee, Processing Fee are whatever the way they will ask. Just tell them, Give me the right offer from genuine co. of your client, we will ready to pay our 1 month salary(if its possible). Otherwise dont pay single filz to them. I hope this will be helpful to someone. Tnx

The recession has put many people in a fix and increased the chances of people getting hoodwinked by such scamsters. Government need to own upto its responsibility of maintaining Dubai free of such scam that can mar the reputation of the city. Law enforcement need to fix such hood winkers from taking advantage of people like this.

I had recieved a call on 26 Jan 2009, proof enough that this racket is going on inspite of being reported with location details on this website almost a year ago. Is any governing body paying any attention to these issues?

I googled the name of the assigned interviewer and see nothing, w/c lead me to the conclusion that
these people are also using fake names. I've read another story online re: interviewer using
two names for the same fake recruiting agencies. The interviewer was supposed to be the MANAGER of Core Elements, but her name doesn't exists in the internet. Grrrr...
