I ordered 24 duracell batteries (12 aa and 12 aaa) for $21.00. none of them worked. seller was geeta bakshi.

I ordered a fitbit exercise watch. I paid for a fitbit I was sent a "kick off" brand called smart bracelet. this is not what I ordered.

When I call the tophatter company in palo alto, ca, the phone is always off line. no response from them through email either.

They are scammers! I will never buy from them ever and will share my story with others.

Order #[protected] I bid on this item and won. I paid for it and returned to look at other items. When I went to bid on another item, it said I had excessive cancellations. You have done this to me several times when I haven't cancelled a damn thing!

Would you please explain to me just how this happens when I pay for the item and get a confirmation then it shows as cancelled and I can't bid?

I would like to have someone in authority contact me and explain! This is th fourth time you have screwed me over this way!

I am posting this post online, maybe then I'll get this resolved!

I won an Auction on tophatter for Flower Martin Shoes @ $10- and $10- Postage...
The Auction was cancelled due to supposedly damaged stock, But yet there is still Other Auctions running for Flower Martin Shoes.
So if my pair were supposedly damaged they could be replaced with an unsold pair but NOOOOOO...
Obviously i won them to cheaply and its cancelled and yes my refund is only pending ?
I have done some research of my own and noted this same thing has happened to other buyers of the same item.
This is obviously a fraudulant selling site with fake auctions not selling high enough items are always damaged .

I got an email from Top[hatter charging my account ending in 3227 for $184.00 for a bracelet. the order number is [protected],
I called my bank and cancelled that charge because I didn't make that order. I was shocked to get that email and have been trying to let someone at Tophatter know that I don't want that item and to Not try and charge me for it.
Please don't send me that bracelet.

i bought a teeth whitner expecting as advertised to be really good only when i got it firstly I had to rip the packaging off as it was sealed really well, secondly the item is not fit for purpose you couldnt clean your teeth never mind whiten them with it, its of that poor quality, and thirdly ive already asked to to be refunded but they want it back in its orignal packaging which isnt possible. Im really not happy about this I want reinbursing in full for selling me something you know is a load of rubbish in first place including postage. Thank you.

Oh boy am I pissed off once again I been scamed! Fraud cheat! Damn damn set up — I been had and thank god it was only $8.00 but this 8.00 will forsure be teaching me a very good bitter lesson I seen [ tophatt] on facebook and thought it was for real — but it is not just another rip off. I went on line to this tophatt and it was like bidding yes bidding for the object, it said $1.00 I truely thought I was getting a small ipad, perhaps usedd but from what I seen I felt well $8.00 not to bad so I clicked on it but I truely thought a real smalled about, [ ipad 7 inch was on the way and yesterday when the mail arrived I was very excited, I opened the package only to find a little thing to set something on I thought it was a joke very silly and so funny, but I know now I was dupped, cheated once again. So everyone beaware of[[tophatter] there are all kinds of things on tht site. Jewwerly, radiios watchs, music, holycow, coat's, bedding shoes tv's the list is endless do not believe it and do not fall for the damn dirty selfish lies! I am of course out of $8.00 but 3 weeks ago ii seen skin cream advertised, on line the small trial offer was $3.49 so I thought the [ 3.49] ok I did it put my information in, then decided no no and I canceled right away, deleted my information, a week later a small bottle came I then checked on my credit card and the name [vitalux health] came up with a phone also the amount of $89.84 was also removed from my account! 89.84. A lot of, money. I was told they had removed this from my account, I got the phone and I called and called nothing, was not a working phone number, I waited a 10 days then tried again but then spoke to a man, gave him the informatiom, and was then told to late you did not cancel in time so your fault. I then said well you may have stole and ripped me off for the [ 89.84] but I have told everyone on facebook the bbb, where ever I can to warn. Xxxxxxxxx people. They are so shamefull. — I sent many many emails to this cream and they all came back I called the national phone number they had listened and no one answers what a stinking mess the cream that came to me in the trial neuphoric cream] so I am just disgusted with the cream and this stupid ipad stand which I thought was a [ ipad ] theves my name is gail erichsen manti utah [protected]

I write to inform you that my seller account on tophatter no longer shows how much owed to me after making a complain to customer service of not being able to transfer income made from selling on the site. Why have I been refused payment for items sold on tophatter. I tried to contact customer service and the lady appeared very rude to me and afterwards my account did not show what was owed to me. I explained that goods was sent untracked and that sending goods that offered tracking number was more expensive than item especially as an international seller. I sell on Wish and after 3 months of no complain, your money is paid. How can i get my money please

Unable to contact company via phone or internet. I cancelled my account but do not believe I have received all of the jewelry I ordered prior to cancelling my account. They keep asking for my eMail (which is [protected]@comcast.net) and my name (which is Estelle Nicolet) but then don't recognize me because I had cancelled my account and are unable to log in. They keep telling me to contact their customer support but I can't access my account for the above-stated reasons. I recently received my feather earrings, pink stone bracelet & ring but not the pink stone earrings I thought I ordered. I would just like the earrings sent to me.

I was participating in a auction and wasted a lot of money because I really wanted that ring. The ring looked awesome and many people wanted it. I was so happy when I actually won and that moment I thought how cool Tophatter was! But when I received it I was super disappointed and disgusted! It was just a piece of cheap plastic and looked very ugly! It looked absolutely nothing like picture! I immediately contacted customer service and they said that there was nothing they could do and that it was only between me and the seller! Beyond ridiculous!

You mean I really have to give one star can I not give any stars at all they do not even deserve one star they are so bad .They not only rip off buyers but also the sellers. They suckers sellers into wanting to sell more . I was specious of what was going on the whole time it took me a month to figure it out that Tophatter is a company ran by scammers. I am too honest and felt bad for selling 1 item I bought for 1 or two dollars then the bidders would pay 18 for it. What was going on? I would send extra items to the winner cause I felt bad for how it all worked. But not only were the buyers being scammed by buying cheap items at inflated prices but the sellers are getting scammed by the people running it. I got banned because I would talk to the customers and sell my products to them directly at a fair price and fair shipping rate.Tophatter staff read my conversations They did not like this at all so they banned me for life.Thank you Tophatter for this.They would trick the sellers into being hooked on the sale. My first sale was to a guy named GENE well I signed up a second time just to see what would happen You guessed it again my first sale was to GENE go figure..I Canceled the 2nd account right away. I know they have their own staff bid on sellers items so they would not get scheduled into another auction so that the only other options the seller would have to sell a item was what they called partner auctions where after only one partner auction I seen they take over half of what you make in sales and then some but want to give sellers 1099's for the total gross sale meaning if I sold 500 dollars worth of items I only made 200 they kept 300 they would 1099 sellers for the full 500.This has got to be tax fraud case or something. The IRS need to check into this site and go thru their sales records. I found flaw after flaw in the short time I was a seller and they seen I knew what was going on. You can make up new user names and bid on items unlimited amount of times and any email address will work even if its not real like [protected]@nothing .com. Unlike other selling sites you have to confirm your email address.Not this one.The staff is very unprofessional and very young. One seller told me 12 year old kids in a garage could do a better job at running a site like topphatter. I now believe him. If the sellers would band together they could have a class action lawsuit against this Tophatter site for unfair dealings. BUYERS SELLERS ALL STAY AWAY from this site.

O Yea I would not claim it or respond either if I owned the site . Goes to show how crooked they are, If anybody gives good reviews of this site it because you never shopped Walmart or A dollar store and dont realize that if you did you would find the same items alot cheaper.

I ordered twice from Tophatter for the past three months and both sellers I purchased from were really bad and dishonest. These sellers did not honor the sale unless auction was at an amount they were okay with. One seller was greedy, but I did receive what I paid for. The other seller never shipped my item and then I contacted him heard only excuses. When I asked Tophatter customer service for help, they called me a liar and protected the sellers. My best advice is better to avoid TopHatter at all costs and shop elsewhere!

I bought a laptop from Tophatter and received my UPS tracking number. The seller gave me a completely wrong number, which was not working. After I contacted the seller he gave me a fake fedex tracking number that was invalid! I contacted the seller and asked for a refund, but received no response. Then I called Tophatter customer service and asked them for help. I spent weeks fighting with them and they finally refunded me. This tells me that they either didn't have the item in stock or they didn't like the price I got it.

I fell into their auction trap! I bought two items and they were supposed to be sent in two different packages (I paid for shipping twice). but the seller shipped my items in same package and used the worst and slowest shipping service ever! I contacted tophatter customer support and explained what happened. no response. I also contacted the seller, but he never responded. things I received were great, I am happy with everything I got. but, I fell into sellers shipping scam and customer support never helped. awful!

Be careful and avoid Tophatter at all costs. I purchased a designer bag and when I received it I was extremely disappointed since the bag was fake. I contacted the seller, but she called me a liar and refused to take it back. It was not my first designer bag, so I know the difference between fake ones and authentic ones! The bag was made of some cheap plastic and smelled like garbage! It was dirty on the inside, and there were some strange spots on the outside. I contacted customer care and asked for an advice. They never responded and later I received a message from them stating that they closed the case, because I never answered their messages! Then I checked the reviews and realized this website is a real scam! I called them many times, but they always say they cannot hear me and hang up. Absolutely ridiculous!

I didn't like Tophatter at all. The merchandise they are selling is cheap and of a poor quality. Their return policy is absolutely ridiculous and they make it almost impossible to return anything. Also, if you cancel something you can't bid for 24 hours after the cancellations. I ordered something from them and when I finally received my item I was extremely disappointed. I bought a necklace which was very rubbish and looked horrible! Once I receive the other things I've purchased I will be returning everything back! And they better give my money back! I would never recommend this site to any one. This site is a huge scam, they are stealing our money and selling us horrible garbage! Never again!

This website is horrible! Tophatter owners only care about lining their pockets by stealing peoples money. They actually do not care what about the sellers and buyers. Buyer can leave a negative review without any proofs and it is automatically approved. They punish you multiple times for no reason and ignore their own policies and procedures. Don't try to sell anything on Tophatter, you'll get only stress. This website is a complete disappointment both for sellers and buyers. Save your nerves and time.

I ordered an item from Tophatter. According to pictures provided it was a helicopter, but when I finally received the order and opened the package I saw a CD. It was CD telling you how to play with a helicopter. I contacted the seller and he said he would refund. So sent the CD back to him and pad about $10 for the return shipping. It has been nearly three months and received nothing yet. I contacted Tophatter customer service and explained the situation. Thy asked me to call back later, and I did but they did not pick up the phone. These people are scammers and they are protecting fraudulent sellers. Horrible service! I do not recommend Tophatter.

I bought an item that took over two months to arrive! It was supposed to be a birthday present for my sister. Birthday came and went but nothing arrived. I sent them an email demanding a refund, and while the complaint was going on they closed my account! Few weeks later the item finally arrived, but it's quality was extremely poor. The bracelet was made from horrible metal and looked nothing like the picture on the website. I paid $57 for it. So, since birthday was missed I wanted to return it, but, since my account had been closed I couldn't do that. I was also unable to return the bracelet! Very disappointed.
