Tianmai Jade Jewelry review: fake jewelry (included in the hwajing tour package) 1

We got scam at this shanghai jewelry store! This store looks pretty legit from the outside of the building cuz It has a 3-4 stories with a lot of pretty big jade/ruby displays in the store. however the so called "workers" in the store are a bunch of scammers!

When we first walked in the building, we were asked to go in to a room when the lower position "worker" will explained about the difference of fake and real jade and pearls since the professional jade speaker weren't in the store. When me and my friends have all sitted in the room we were immediately served by a cup of tea which we think that it's pretty normal because almost all stores in China would serve tea. (No sure what they have put in the tea but my face got really red because of it.) After a few minutes of explaining the jade and pearls, the "lower position worker" told us that their manager will come in and explain to us because she is more experienced. Then here comes Fiona the "manager" of the tianmai jewellery.

When she first came in she was damn nervous in talking however that was all acting! She told us that she's the daughter of the tainmai jewelry and she is being forced by her father to make this talk because the talk that she made yesterday had all the tourist fallen asleep. And she also told us that she has never seen such warm hearted people like us that willing to listen to her explaination and also asked her to be not nervous.

After she had finished explaining the differences between fake and real pearls/ jade. She bought us to the "buying room". She told us that we are like her friends and she is the daughter of this jewellery store so she can give us a huge discount. At first she bought us to the jade section which cost about 15000 rmb, she told us that she could offer us 800 rmb cuz we are like her "friends". And the "lower position worker" told Fiona that that too much discount and would cost the company a lost. Fiona told her workers that it's okay because she'll bare with all the consequences as her grandfather will listen to whatever she says. However I had no interest in jade so I didn't bought any of that. Fiona has also shown us to the pearl section where she has also given us a huge discount. To be honest being the craftsmanship of the pearl pendant was pretty legit. Fiona said that we could have 2 pendent for rmb 100. Therefore, I couldn't resist to buy some since it was so cheap and most of my friends have also gotten themselves a few of that.

All jewellery in the stores are fake! The workers are scammers! And Fiona is not the daughter of the jewellery store! She is like the professional scammers and she's really good at acting! Me and my friends all got scammed by her ！
