I just don't understand why it takes weeks to get a refund from this company when you are working with cash. We gave almost $1000.00 check back in October 3,2022 and it cleared our band the next day on the 4th. After just over 2 weeks of weight for our item to be installed, Thompson showed up with the incorrect item on October 25,2022. This was the straw that broke the camels back after numerous other incidents. We requested a full refund on October 26,2022. Keep in mind they cleared the check the day after we give it to them on October 3,2022. We are still not in receipt of this money (Nov.23.22) and we are both disabled individuals on social security and this is more than what I make in a month. Can anyone help.

I turned in a bill for mowing your plant in Clarksdale Mo on July 3 2022 and it is now Sep. 7, 2022. The bill was for $870.00 ticket # 173857. If I don't have payment by Sep 28, 2022, or an explanation for non-payment I will fill suit in small claims court. You guys want and need your money, well so do I. i had switched over to thompson gas at a price that was quoted by the salesman at no more than 200.00 initially to enroll in the budget plan. now i'm getting statements for over 500.00 dollars for fees that were never explained or indicated. this is not only deceitful, but also highly questionable practices. if ther's anybody out there who has been subjected to this outrage pleaase contact me, thank you, c.s.phillips

I bought a house in Dec. of 2005 and assumed the existing propane gas service that the previous owner had. I pay on time and they deliver on time. I just want to terminate their delivery service. I have a 500 gallon underground tank. They want $1750 from me to buy the tank. I have no problem with that. Next they say i'm contracted (their policy) to buy gas from them for three years, then I have to get a $1,000,000 liability policy with them as beneficiary and get the tank pressure tested(the tank is 6 years old. No other company does this. These requirements are absurd. The purpose as I can see, is just to make it impossible for you to leave them. Great way to keep customers! Next I have found numerous customers of theirs with similar complaints. They gave up and just continue using them. So I guess blackmail works. Next step is assistance from a state regulatory body or a lawyer.

My wife and I moved into a new home in Berkeley Springs, WV in Dec. 2004.

We contracted with Thompson Gas to provide a 200 gallon propane supply tank. The propane was only necessary to supply our gas dryer. Unfortunately, the fine print on the back of the contract, in shadow print, was not mentioned to us at all.

We were on a plan where we payed $32.50 per month allyear long. Usage did not matter; we were not paying as needed.

We have since put the home up for sale and relocated to Missouri for a new job. We have a buyer who does not wish to coninue the service.

Our problem is this:

Thompson will not refund us the cost of fuel still in the tank. Their program is a real farce! We payed the same $32.50 per month for over 15 months; in that time period, we didn't use over 50 gallons of fuel. This in itself is a ripoff; however, no they aree telling me that they will not refund us for fuel not used in the tank. They are also wanting $90.00 to pick up our tank.

We can live with the $90.00, but no the over $250.00 they want us to pay for the leftover fuel, which they will in turn re-sell.
