Tata CLiQ review: chromecast 2

Despite apprehensions, I finally purchased a Chromecast 2. It was delivered 2 days back and setting it up had been a nightmare since then. There are no clear instructions, not even a single pager user manual comes with the box. I ended up searching through various forums because the product forces me to connect to a Wi-Fi even for starting up - it rejects mobile hotspot - strange I thought, it might be a mistake in my understanding ! after all, who needs a home WiFi in these days of unlimited mobile data from mobile networks and google must have given proper thoughts to this supposedly very popular item? But no, it turns out Google had intentionally blocked the option of using mobile hotspot since past 8 months for whatsoever reasons. Shameful that a company like Google employs losers doing such stupid thing. Now exasperated and after having lost hours finally raised a return request. This had been a lesson learnt well - no company is God even if those fekus pretend to be so. Later somebody suggested I use 2 devices, one as a hotspot and another for casting media. But hell, that would be too much an overkill to make up for some stupid decision taken by Google employees. Instead I would rather purchase Firestick and I hope that does not turn out to be as primitive as Chromecast. More was yet to come. TataCliq called today morning - it turns out that google had instructed TataCliq to not take any returns - so they are giving stupid reasons and trying to hide behind fine prints to avoid returns. But my mind is made up - I will dig my hand in their CEO's behind and pull the money out. Consumer court is the next stop. Advise to the public? Stay clear from cheaters like Tata Clic.
