Spectramed / Hospital pre authorization
I've been phoning the [protected] number for Hospital pre authorization since 10:00 am this morning. There were times I held for over an hour with no one picking up!! What if this were a serious emergency? I need an operation tomorrow but they can't assist me because the authorization will take up to 72 working hours. If I go tomorrow I'm fully liable for the account. Looks like they will leave their clients to die...but oh thank you for your monthly contribution every month of R4000+. What's the use of having this medical aid if they can't assist you straight away. Very disappointed!
