Rhino Home Improvements / Bad Work, No repair

1 United Kingdom Review updated:

Rhino Home Improvements of Sheffield/Rotherham built an extension which has leaked from the start. Despite a guarantee they have consistently refused to fix it and will not reply to any contact

I would advise anybody to steeer clear of them or, at least, do not pay a penny till you are absolutely satisfied.

I had a similar experience in April 2010. They seemed like a legitimate business until the fitters arrived. The door never fitted and despite three repeat visits never really seemed right. I finally paid after they finally fixed it only for the door to start sticking again. I have never been able to get them back to fix it an have actually chased them through small claim court. Finally discovered they went into liquidation in May. The really annoying point is that they are now trading again with Leon Smith's (ex Director) girlfriend in charge. I can't imagine her doing a worse job than him but I would advise anybody in the Rotherham area to avoid them at all costs. I would accuse them of being cowboys but I think they would struggle to work out which end of the horse to sit on.

really surprised to hear about Rhino in this light - We have used them on at least 4 occasions and they have done both our new and old house top to bottom - couldnt be happier. Had 1 slight issue with a door which was caused by the weather (cant blame them for that) and they were out to fix it the next day. Would reccommend them to anybody!!! (in fact have done and they gave me £50 and a bunch of flowers)

Similar experience as original one in 2011. Appalling job, still trying to make good four years later. Refused to return despite so-called guarantee. Windows leak, door leaks, no FENSA certificate supplied (now no longer certified), FENSA claimed irregularities when I contacted them. Very very dodgy company.
Interesting that "itsme99" who commended them above posts under that name on SheffieldForum on their behalf saying "We can quote..." so ignore those comments.
They now trade as Rotherham Home Improvement (RHIDevelopments LTD)
Andrew Peace is not to be trusted.

Andrew Peace doesn't work for any of the companies mentioned above so when you say Andrew peace can't be trusted you probably want to get your facts/names correct before making comments like that. I suggest you remove that last comment
