Poles Direct / Anyone thinking of buying from them please think again

I ordered a number of curtain poles from this online company - and found that two of the poles were rusty. On ringing the company, i was told to take pictures and send it to them by email. After the first attempt - no response. Second attempt got a personal email address - still no response. After - several phone calls leaving messages on the answer phone, i am still waiting. I cannot send the items back without notifying them, and they are not responding. What appalling service - it is this type of product suppliers who are ruining the reputation of good companies to make use of the web to reach more consumers! i am really annoyed with all the effort i am having to make to get these from such a supplier!

Anyone thinking of buying from them please think again.

    United States are very disappointing to deal with. My order for 2 curtain poles, hold backs and finials took a long time to arrive. When the order arrived the finials for the hold backs were missing with no indication as to when missing items would arrive. Trying to get after sales service is a nightmare, phones are mostly not answered, telephone answer machine messages that I have left have never responded to, emails I have sent using their contact form have never been responded to. When I eventually managed to speak to someone over a week ago about the problem and his promise to look into the problem, I still have heard nothing. Definitely recommend that you do not deal with this business.
