if you use onforce you are a employee as far as the irs rules go on taxes. when you are instructed to be at a location at a specific time, told what to wear and have to represent yourself as being from the "xyz" company the line of independent contractor is broken. Now add in what they pay and if they pay you make more money flipping burgers

We will have come up with a FB Page or other Socia media Avenue to get the word out to the masses,

In my oppion all 3 Website Field Nation, Onforce and Work market who now owns Onforce need to be sued. And yes you can there's a back door even if they claim that they cant be sued.. But in the meantime we need to do what we can to Group Up and spread the word.

Again they need to be dealt with as they are breaking many Laws, , they all seem to fFavor the Buyer I have the Proof and I will be consulting with an
Attorney .

If anyof you guys or gals would like to join me in the Actions I plan to take with these Un Ethical and cheating Portals,

Feel free to PM me or leave your Experince's with these companies that we ourself The Tech community can get it done, ,

we just need to spread the word and we need a dedicated Acct to Grow into a group that will have to be respected.

I have a similar complaint with identical response from the OnForce team. A bunch of thieving, lying, scamming, frauds, that violate not only their techs but IRS tax laws as well. They don't honor their guidelines and don't care to assist with issues on payment. I have been slow played, ignored, lied to and finally has come to this. Do not work for OnForce they are garbage. They also deleted all notes and pictures from a job that was unpaid by the buyer for over $4000 . They really are going the distance to live up to their [censor] ways. Right on OnForce. By the way I have been a tech for them since they were called computerrepair.com. Which is back in 2004 . 13 years of working with them without any problems and one issue to make me wish I never would have done one job for them. Also they tax fraud by paying you 10% less than they tell the IRS so make sure you verify what the IRS has as your earnings if you work for them. Disgusted tech Brendan Smith [protected]. I will return calls if I don't answer unlike the company doing business as OnForce.com. I am interested in any and all class actions against this company.

I will be suing them and I won't be settling for a im sorry at this point in time..

This company is not only defrauding its professional contractors consultants, they are total scam with total disregard to following the rules of clean business, at 1 time when joined and reading there statement and what they stood behind.. I decided to try them out, to keep me busy between my normal clients.. wow they ended up being as bad if not worse than some of these buyer's they offer our services to..

Onforce.. your promise and commitment posted on your website for new entrance to onforce is a utterly and fragrant lie.

Proven to me by your lack of action and total disregard for the community of tech and freelancer's that by contract with your website your a duly responsible to carry out.

You have made no attempts at returning not only phone calls, but also do not return any emails.. when you push us to communicate via email at
Prosupport@onforce.com

I don't know how many others on this complaint forum understand how deep your un ethical and biased additude you have towards the tech community.. but remember fool me once shame on you.. fool me twice shame on me.. fool me 3 times.. — > expect a lawsuit.

Also it has been over 2 months now that I have been paid your breaking the law once again.. plus I not only refuse to pay you a commission as you have broken a great deal of trust and based on the information I have gathered and now reading through all this bad publicity,

You guys owe me.. so I ask you 1 last time in this public forum.. you better go talk to national it.. and either pay.. or you both will be getting sued together at the same time.. them for being liars, and low lives, and you for supporting there action, and breaking our contractual agreement.
Yes you heard that correctly, you onforce have lied and bs around issues, especially when an escalation comes from a tech/consultant.

Total spit in the face to all your member and truthfully the word is about to go viral thanks to your own actions and disregard to the folks that even keep you in business.. if theres no techs.. there's no money for onforce.. must be the reason so little work goes thru there. and also maybe the reason why you selling, to try to cover your tracks with what you have been doing for years now that I have read through numerous complaints on this forum..

So take note, although you may have terminated my acct on onforce, it does nothing but show how you deal with problems,
Again.. I need my $740.00 that is owed by national it. if not all parties will be sued. and the process has already begun.

Sincerely
Diverseengineer

Nothing will be resolved in this forum, it will take legal action, which I have every right to do, in the situation im in at this moment there is not resolve tried that directly, have very good documention an other interesting data that will support my case, anyways

Yeah
To become a member you have to register, which seems fair as I in the process of doing this search get to see, wow im not the only 1 that just so happen to have a complaint.. looks like there"s a substantial number of people who have been let down in 1 form or another by this company..

So I now understand now.. there escalation team is the management and the folks that control the aws.. which by the way.. after my recent talk with them about having no option but to sue them..

Several days after my cell phone went into a boot loop situation.. with out going to much into detail of what a bootloop android device is..

Lets just say, they tried an hope there malicious malware would cause me to a, if I dont anything, expect me to buy another phone and live with the fact that my dead? not happening.,. b. hope that I could recover from such an event caused by there malicious push via there app.

Well it wont matter at that point either, because I have all the data backed up 2 weeks earlier, either way you get the idea.

This company will be exposed for what they really are.. im mean don't be taken in with my events with these folks.. read on with others complaints.!

We can't be liars. plus I hate liars so much I record all my conversation, its my right to do so, as a small business in this day in age.. you better.

Anyways that's my story, & there's more.

Un excusable and at this juncture un forgivable as well.

I just fired onforce. They take to much money and they take the buyers and do not care what u say. It has turn into a bad company since Jeff founded it. It is not like it used to be. They break laws and get away with it. I am willing to file a class action law suit against them. Anybody like to join? Thank

On-force exploits pay from well qualified professionals they have no control or rules related to hourly pay. It creates a buyer market for companies to exploit service providers for very low pay. STAY FAR AWAY from on-force. On one work order I worked for 4 hours and got paid only $50 dollars because it said it was a flat rate fee. That's $12.50 an hour talk about exploiting certified professionals. On-force protects only the sellers and not the buyer.

Don't take the job, I don't. Same as GURUS2GO.COM. These companies are [censor], but you have a right to take or refuse the job. If you take it, you know what your getting into so why are you whining?

What exactly is OnForce?
The new form of sweatshops in America.

OnForce is a national technology sweatshop network that connects service buyers known as IT slave masters with both non and highly skilled service professionals known as IT slaves (They have no power whatsoever once joining the sweatshop, except accept or do not accept work order) — easily, efficiently, and profitably for the IT slave masters.

The OnForce model assembled the largest number of technicians from all across the country professional or non professionals, force them to compete and pay them low wages for high technical work. It surely provides a competitive edge for the slave masters on OnForce such as Pomeroy, Apple, AT&T and HP. As OnForce points out to the slave masters AKA Providers "Best of all, since you can set your own price for your service events, you have ultimate flexibility and can effectively manage cost containment." It simply means sweatshop.
We are taking a stand against the OnForce IT sweatshop marketplace that promotes a new form of slavery and destruction of the IT labor force.

You are not considered an employee, you are a contractor and will recieve a 1099 at the end of the year. Even if a contract says you are an employee, unless they are taking out taxes you ARE a contractor and will get a 1099 unless you are paid less then $150.

Go to irs.gov, look it up. Very simple.

Companies like ONFORCE.COM and GURUS2GO.COM are simply middle men, they will try and low-ball you so they can make more money. GURUS2GO.COM is probably the worst at this. These companies are a great way to get leads for your own business or independent work. I know most businesses that partner with GURUS2GO do so for extra income during slow times, and to get leads. Even after signing a contract with either firm, there are still loopholes that allow you to basically use these companies as marketting tools. And extra money.

To protect yourself, read the fine print, get everything in writing. And don't take the job if it looks flaky. GURUS2GO handles the entire ticket process, so you will get paid from them, but don't hold your breath. They will take there time in paying you. This means between 30 and 120 days in most cases.

And neither company has a good way to monitor there techs, a lot of them are just a bunch of hackers and wana' be's.

If your a smart technician, stay away from Onforce. No good can come from working with these scam artists. Your right, you don't have to take the job if you don't want it. So don't. Don't even work for Onforce. Your better off sweeping floors for minimum wage than working for Onforce.

You don't have to work for an EMPLOYER either. That is not the determining factor of status as an employee or contractor. It is things like "How to do it, " "Where to do it, " "When to do it." "What not to do, " etc...

You don't have to take the work right? Seems silly to complain about the pay if you are not forced to take the work. Also, you are wrong about Independent Contractors. IC's are asked to represent themselves as agents for places like DHL, UPS, Comcast, Verizon, and all sorts of others. If you don't like OnForce's deal just don'tign up for the work.

As a service professional within the OnForce marketplace, you have the opportunity to gain access to quality work from service buyers across the United States and Canada. It is important to note that since OnForce is an open marketplace, all service event requirements and guidelines such as price, stipulated time on-site, and work apparel are determined by each individual service buyer and not by OnForce.
