I want to raise awareness of the scam of this company.
You get a trial product, however, if you do not cancel the order after a certain period, you will then be debited further amounts.
The scam is that they only deliver the order after the "period" allowed for cancellation, and then your account is aautomatically debited and they add an additional £37.50 on that debit for a product that you did not order (but was hidden in the T&C's)

My issue is that when I did not receive the order I tried there website and it was disabled due to spam ( clearly because of this) and the helpline was constantly busy...
Now I have no recourse

DO NOT buy the product through Nutriscience

I don't fall for scams and can usually spot something fishy a mile off, but Nutrascience got me, due to go on Hols. A free trail for 30 days weight losss pills give it a go . Never even took them and on checking my statement £75.00 taken out on 3rd feb and £79.50 on 19th feb . Have only just noticed this and contacted my credit card company straight away ( they are closed) but a a separate team dealing with this recurring payment ! I am not the only one . It's heartbreaking I will contact them tomorrow and hopefully they can help . A sad lesson learnt .

I took part in the trial of ProCleanse in August and on checking my bank statement discovered I had been debited £112.50 on 12 September - when I called today to cancel the autoshipment I was told I had been charged for 3 products. In the pack I received two bottles of tablets and one empty pack of patches. This company needs to be closed down - nowhere does it make clear that you will be charged for 3 items. When I informed them that the pack was empty I was told to obtain a form from Post Office and state that one item was missing and they would investigate the Royal Mail ! The pack arrived undamaged and unopened so therefore how can it possibly be a fault of the Royal Mail. I said this to the customer service adviser and he informed me that this was the process before I could obtain a refund. Another scam on their part. I will do my utmost to advise everyone I possibly can never to deal with this company and am taking action to prevent this happening to other unsuspecting prospective clients. Sick to the back teeth of companies like this and there attitude.

This company offer a free trial of their product where all you pay is £2.49 for P&P. 2 weeks later £75 will go from your bank account or credit card where they neglect to say the trial is for 2 weeks and then you have to pay full price. I have been caught out with this but have had some luck in getting hold of them to cancel my order with them but have had to also cancel my bank card so no further money can be taken. I will not be refunded my £75 and im still not convinced they have actually cancelled my order. They have also said i should return the product to them which I also have to pay for!

I am in a similar position to the above complaints, I have not signed an agreement and have tried all morning to try and stop the money coming out of my account.
How can I get round it please. Days are starting to run out, could I ring my credit card company and ask them to put a stop on it.

Any advice would be helpful.
Thank you
Liz

Honestly, any company that offers a deal that runs out 24 after you view their webpage is probably something you should be suspicious about.

I checked back 3 separate times, over the space of two weeks, and guess what? Same offer, same time limit.

Yes they are a bunch of vampiric, money leeching *insert expletive* but you're all a bunch of fools for believing their nonsense, payin for a product with unlikely reviews and not researching it before hand.

If you want to lose weight, stop eatin chips. Get out more. Don't watch sport, play sport!

I totally agree that this company is appalling BUT I actually quite like the product (well apart from the patches which gave me blisters which left scars for months), I've never been healthier or felt better. To put this in context I am a senior biology scientist who really doesn't fall for c**p on a topic like this. My appetite is suppressed, I eat smaller portions and I have lost weight - not the advertised amount but overall I would be happy with the product at the price I agreed with them (the discounted one they offer if you try to cancel). So it is a shame that they insisted on stealing money from my account and making me continually phone up to get it back. I've had several conversations with them and did actually manage to get a refund by being pleasant and saying that I would love to recommend the product to my friends but cannot until they refund the money they have taken outside of our agreement. I have now finally cancelled altogether and phoned my bank to raise a complaint of fraud because they were taking money I had not agreed to. You will probably find that the funds already taken are not recoverable by your bank but they will write to this company and tell them that any further activity from them on my account will result in them being charged with fraud. This is standard and you are entitled to protection from your bank. Not sure this helps anyone above but it may help anyone checking out the product before buying. My conclusion, yes it's good, yes it works, no it is not worth the money (I've found better value for the same sort of thing on the high street) BUT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER.

Please do not go anywhere near this product or this company- avoid Pro Cleanse too. This is a scam and I don't know how these people sleep at night! I have just come off the phone from their helpline and they have refused to reinburse me money when they have falsely advertised their product. There is nothing free about it- they should advertise this as a 'money back if you're not satisfied' product. They have no address on their website and no scientific proof that the product works. We need to stop these companies from taking advantage of us and making us feel that we are to blame for trusting them. Does anyone know where else we can alert people to this online so we can spread the word?

I did manage to get my refund. The other point to note is that the blurb says it can take 3-14 days for the tablets to work. Needless to say they had no effect and by waiting for 14 days you automatically find yourself facing the first charge.

I agree with the above whole heartly, when I rang to cancel I was told they were trying to debit £75 from my account and would continue to do so until I paid up! They would not give me their address to send these pills and patches back. A total scam, unfortunately I was foolish to fall for it. I have rang trading standards for advice, but don't know if I will be still charged and again in a months time.
