The purpose and intention of this pageant is great but the organizers have not shown justice, equality and fairness towards the contestants and not enough professionalism as an organization. This pageant was a total scam from the beginning, waste of time and money they would pressure the girls to be present or on time for each rehearsals or events but they would be late themselves or sometimes end up cancelling at the last minute, they were not generous especially the day of the pageant they did not provide us with food everything was always out of our own pockets, they would ask us to pay for the entrance fee and telling what it include but we ended not getting everything they said, the trip to Ottawa they asked us to put in what we can to rent an AirBnB and we all got squizzed in one bedroom and some girls ended up sleeping on the floor, we started as 10 contestants and ended 6 at the end because girls couldn't just take the crap they were dealing with, to be continued

They have asked a girl to participate near the end just to fill in the gap and she didn't have to pay anything. The winners did not end up getting any gifts or real opportunities that they promised verbally, the envelopes that was given to the top 3 winners the day if the pageant were not cheques it was a kickboxing class membership And on top of that no contracts was made until now. They would make us thing that winning the pageant was worth it but they would just leave us hanging and focus for next year to scam more girls. Please this complaint is not anger but honesty and to prevent girls from being scammed, please make lots of research before entering a pageant this is not the only scamming organization out there, be careful and be wise.
Does MFOH sponsors all the expenses for the girls who are selected from each country?
Hello everyone, this statement is from the Miss Face of Humanity team. We want to acknowledged that we have read the above complaint, and initially we didn't want to respond, but it's important we make a statement.
First of all, we are fully aware of the person who made the above complaint. Our mission is all about Love and Empowerment, and we do understand that no matter what you do, you will be criticized for it, especially if things don't go people's way.
She mentioned issues of false promises, unprofessionalism and so forth. For the sake of respect and privacy, we will not address you by your name. There is only one thing that you said which is true, and that was the fact that some of our coordinators and scheduling were not well aligned, and some showed up late at one of the rehearsals at Mel Lastman Square, which they apologized for due to the horrific traffic they encountered en route to the training ground.
Regarding the other points, below is our statement:
1. No one from our team presurrised any candidate to do something they were not supposed to do. We went out of our way countless times to ensure that our candidates were well prepared and ready for the show as we always do. She mentioned how the project was a total waste of time and money, but the real thing she didn't mentioned is how many candidates paid the entry fee of $500 we asked of them to cover basic expenses we had to incur to get them ready for the show. Only 2 candidates, the rest had no money, but we were still generous to carry all their financial burdens and cover all their expenses.
2. She made mentioned of the word Scam. But is not a surprise that sometimes people use words that they do not fully understand the meaning of it. We advise everyone who reads this to do a thorough research about us, we are Real, genuine and active, check our reviews and what we are doing and judge it for yourselves. You can see the kind of persons that are involved in our project and hear what they are actually saying about us.
3. As for food, is so shocking to hear what she said. We make it a priority to provide excess food to every event we organize, not just to the participants, but to our special guests and judges as well. Again this information can be verified from those who attend our events. We had enough food that day to feed everyone, and again the cost of this food was covered by our organization. So wherever that was from, we gave no idea what she is talking about.
4. This was one of our first shows, and we had a lot of trouble managing these girls because a lot of them were not always on time for rehearsals and we almost loose most of our sponsors and partners, including Goodlife FITNESS. They gave us everything including a gym, coach, fitness accessories, but the girls abused it. We had a scheduled training, and can you believe only one girl showed up to the training on time. The manager was so mad at us that they almost withdrew from the project, if not for the fact that we had to really apologize on their behalf. This information can be verified with the Goodlife FITNESS branch on Bay at 483 Bay Street Toronto.
5. As concerning the trip to Ottawa, yes we did take them to Ottawa for some promotional activities. But when we got to Ottawa, the weather was so horrible to the point where the forecast was predicting an all day rain. So our coordinators held an urgent meeting with all the girls. In the meeting, we discussed that it will be unfair for us to send them under the rain to do any activity, as we were more concerned about their health and well-being over anything. So we decided to cancel the trip and the accommodation we already paid for with our own money. For safety purposes, we told all the girls that we are returning to Toronto and they were not happy at all. They all came together in one accord and insisted that they wanted to stay by all means and that they don't mind any condition, but they just want to stay. After a long back and forth, we came to a conclusion that if they are staying, then it's fully their responsibility because we are out of it. One thing we cannot do is force adults to go against their wishes, so we backed out of it. Everything that happened after that, that's all on them, we had nothing to do with that.
To conclude, we stand for LOVE and justice and we will not Change for whatever reason. If some of the girls are trying to bribe judges to judge on their behalf, we have all the rights to expel them from the project, because we don't believe in Doing things that way.
You who wrote those complaints, we just want to let you know that we have nothing but great love for you, and we wish you nothing but success in your life and your career path. The only advice we have for you is that you should be just and fair when you say certain things about other people or organizations. We are not perfect, no one is, yes we made some mistakes on scheduling and timing as well, but we've learned from them and over the years, we've become better in what we do. We just cannot accept what is not true, sorry.

I was involved with this project and I could agree that one of the main coordinator showed up late to one of our practices and we were all left hanging not knowing what to do. But as for the Ottawa trip, the organization has nothing to do about that, but it's all about the girls fault. I wasn't there personally, but I heard from some of the girls and other coordinators that the heavy downpour in Ottawa hindered all their plans and the coordinators decided that they should all return the sane day. But the girls refused and said they can't come all the way and go back just like that. They decided to stay by all means and at their own expense, just because some of them wanted to party. So I don't understand how that should be held against the organization. One thing I know is that the mission behind this project is great and everything was not that perfect forsure, but the people who run this contest are nice and loving. Everyone involved in this contest last year can testify that.
Hello Hunny, I dont know who you are and this is not against you, but you mentionned that you weren't there you just heard what happened in Ottawa, who ever told you that did not tell you the truth at all, every deleguates intention was to go and promote the event and yes some of us did hand up going out to party at night because we had permission, what is wrong with that? The organization was not prepared for the trip to Ottawa from the beginning, the weather part doesn't matter because it was sunny afterwards and we did have time to promote the event, either way we would still be squizzed in that AirBnB. You can ask each and every delegate of last year that went and you will se their response. Ths is my last words. Thank you, I wish you all the best!
