Lusso Baby.ca review: Not delivering product -working with subcontractor 4

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

I have placed orders for baby prodcts including a high chair. Lusso Baby's website showed that they had the items on stock. Their website seemed well designed, fairely priced and showed inventory on stock.

1st complaint: when the order confirmation arrived, I realized that a subcontractor, CymaxStores.com was now responsible for my order (if you call their 1800 number, you wait FOREVER to speak to someone. Returns are pretty much impossible to get since it's impossible to talk to anyone!)

2nd complaint: the high chair that I ordered (+300$) is out of stock. What should have taken less than 2 weeks to receive is yet to be shipped (it's been a month now!)

3rd complaint: one of the other items that I ordered did not come in the colour that I chose. Needless to say, I am sticking with it. I don't have another hour to spend on the phone + time to ship back!

I will NEVER do business with this company again.

So far I'm not impresses with Lusso baby either. I ordered two cribs and two mattresses from the location on Granville. They tell me 2 to 4 weeks for arrival. As it is only comming from a wear house in surrey. Well it's been over 4 weeks now. I called last week to check up on it and they said it's not in stock so they now have to get it from the company it's made by. Which is davinci. They say they will look into it for me and get back to me with a date of arrival. Of course I get no call back 5 days later I call twice today before I talk to a person, after leaving two messages on their machine. A lady tells me she's going to look into it and personally get back to me ASAP. Which she does. But now the story I get is that they got held up at the boarder and it's going to take at least another two weeks for arrival. Seems to me this was a quickly made up story being that one lady told me one thing and then the other told me another. Also really the first time I called it took all of three mins to find out that the cribs I ordered are not in stock. If I had not called when I did. Why wouldn't they know this the time I placed my order or even sooner than four weeks?!?!? I read online about these bad reviews and was hopin it wouldn't happen to me and so far it is. Not impressed at all. Unfortunately for me this is the only place I've found that sells mini cribs
And I had not other choice but to do business with this company. Never again. Expecting mothers shouldn't have to deal with this stress. And I have twins comming. Do not buy from this place! Unless you want promises that are never kept and excuses and delayed orders!

Omg I hope my order doesnt go as bad...I ordered a stroller from the location on granville, so far its been jus over 2 weeks I keep calling tu ask wen it will arrive thay seem ta have no real answers on whare its located or if has been shipped yet ...I think its stupid that 1 stroller is taking this long Lusso baby really NEEDS ta get thare ### together and make an more bigger effort in keepn thare customers HAPPY & informed on the product or products that we have purchased...yuu guys knoe yuu can do better NOW MAKE IT HAPPEN! its suppose ta be your job get it done ryt...other wise you will go out of business n from the looks of these reviews we WONT miss you.

Had the same problem. Cymax Stores seems to be hiding behind different names due to their poor reputation.
Here was my review:
Do not order online from this store. You will actually be ordering from Cymax Stores. Research "Cymax Stores Reviews". It has been a nightmare dealing with this company. I placed an order on Jan. 1/11, believing that I would be receiving the baby furniture in time before my due date. It is now April 6th, and still no furniture. Called customer service, only to speak to someone from India who hung up on me because he was overwhelmed and had no idea what to do. All my emails sent to customer service were unanswered. The only time I was able to get a response is when I filed a complaint with the BBB. I received a response from Cymax Stores asking if I wanted to "put in another order" for the order I already had ordered...doesn't make any sense. Was told that it will be only be 2-3 days before it will be shipped...shouldn't it have been shipped when I had initially placed the order three months ago? Why did I have to wait so long and have to resort to filing a complaint with the BBB? Please save yourself some stress and order from a more reputable store. It was my fault for not researching before placing my order. Do your research!
***Also, after making this purchase, my husband's credit card company called to tell us there were fraudulent charges on his card. It happened soon after we made this purchase. This was the only time we had made a online purchase with his card as we are very wary to make purchases online. There has been other complaints about the same issue I have read online, so this seems to be a major issue with Cymax Stores. Not sure why this company is still in business.
