Hoobly Login / hoobly login

United States Review updated:

I cannot login into either of my accounts. Every time I try to login a message comes up to call 252-701-1000. This is some virus or spam phone number. I hear many people are having this trouble with your system. Are you guys going out of business? Is there someone trying to fix this issue? It been happening for the past 3 weeks. I do not have my customer number. I even tried to start another account and your system would not allow it. Even when I try downloaded your application on my cell phone the same result. It is as though your whole system is infected. My email address is [protected]@hotmail.com

Its not just you, I first noticed it was hacked when I would pull up hoobly and I normally am already logged in, password saved, so I just go check my messages and update my listings if needed... well for the last few days now every time I get on the hoobly page its been pulling up a random persons account, as in all thier messages and listings, total control same as you have of your own account, that scared the crap out of me, and its kept happening, every time I go to a main hoobly page from google I am in another different random users account, can post, message and delete as them... thats scary... its defenitely been hacked. thing is with hoobly is its been an abandoned website for years now, no admin or anybody to talk to about any problems, just the users using it.. also thats why there are so many scammers now ripping people off on there... I think its actually more scammers now than people actually selling items or pups/kittens for example... its sad because all those scammers ruin any trust we can build up w/ our buyers as far as online payments, deposits, etc... my suggestion is dont change your password since its already in control of the hackers... I dont think they can access your password thats already been setup by you... but dont be fooled, if you text that phone number your email address its just literally giving them a reason to now have your email address and try to go through thier now hacked database and match iut to your password... if you change it now they will just get it soon as you hit enter... I would immediatelly change your password on all your other logins and just forget about the one you used here on hoobly... its quite easy to do the wrong thing here and accidentally just give them your password... they are wanting access to your important stuff, most people use the same password for everything, so once they get it anywhere they have access to all your logins and sites, bank account online, credit cards, loans, mortgages, etc... even leads to credit lines and mortgages, wire transfers... go change all your other passwords everywhere and pray you didnt send any info to that email address, the fact that their phishing w/ that prompt to text them your email address tells me they cant access the password in the main system, so at least thats good, just not too good for those that will text thier email to that number, then of course I imagine they say blah blah blah, it looks like an error, can your please confirm your password and we can fix it right now... then your screwed if you bought into that up to that point, which you shouldnt have by common internet sense... this is why its so important to use diferent password on every site you go to, just write them down on a sheet of paper around your computer somewhere so you can access it anytime, trust me they dont want your hoobly account they are just phiching for passwords and then your profile has your email address even already so even there your screwed... none will ever have you do something like this, its total fruad and huge red flags... its sad because we get huge exposure any most of our customers through our hoobly ads, guess hoobly is done, over, gone.. since noone controls it anymore... watch for it in a couple weeks or few months on the news, another site hacked and all the info stolen... hoobly was a solid site for ads and drove quick google results, i'm gonna miss you hoobly, guess all good things come to an end... rip hoobly

    Rot in hell hackers!

Ive been wondering why I havnt had many calls or messages this last couple weeks... now I know why... if your reading this I hope you were smart enough not to change your password and not to text them your info and just hand them all your important financials... either way go change all your passwords and make each one different, and not just one number up or down for each one... thats the first thing hackers do is go through the digits... times have changed, net neutrality is gone for us americans and now stuff like this is going to happen left and right, every week another major online sellers site is hacked and info stolen and sold off by the hundreds of thousands for pennies on the dollar and then not far down the road its when you get hit with a direct personal attack likeidentity fruad, lockouts to all your accounts, banks, credit cards, loans defualted and credit ruined for life!!! with zero recourse whatsoever... etc

If your scared then you probably should be and have made these mistakes, I wouldnt stop at your passwords, go change your bank account # and credit/debit card#s.. and everything else you ever used the same 1 password you use for eveything... quick.. from now on use a completely different password for each site you login to, write it down and keep a physical list, it might take an extra 5 seconds to login sometimes but you wont ever have your life ruined by giving hackers access to all your important accounts and bank account simply because you used one password for everything. go now... hurry!!!

I tried to put in my email and my password so I could log in. The email and password then disappears so I can't log in. When I tried calling customer service, they wouldn't speak English. What's wrong with Hoobly?
    Sincerely,

Recently, when I am posting an ad, my headline shows up with no capitalization. I type them when making up the ad, but when I post, the capitals disappear and show up as all lower case. I guess people know what I’m trying to say, but it makes me look ignorant. Does this happen to anyone else? Can anything be done???

Won't let me check listings messages or anything. Does anyone know if they are addressing the issue? Really liked the site.
