As a visitor to Cape Town and to Grand West Casino, I was very disgusted at the way the Staff treated us.
There is NO Signage outside at the boom gates when entering into the centre that everyone Must have shoes on, including your children.
My 4 year old son did not have his shoes on, when we got into the premises, one security asked my husband to please pick up my son as you are not allowed in without shoes, the second one said dont worry you can buy shoes inside, the third one appeard from no where with Management to escort us out of the premises due to my son not having shoes on, there attitude is disgusting, they were rude and arigunt. After spending R190 on a shuttle to get there we were asked to leave, Never will i put my foot back into that place. When i got back to the Hotel where i was staying and mentioned it to another couple, what had just happend. only to hear, they had gone through the same experience! Disgusting
Jack up people 2010 is around the corner, is this how you treat Tourists... wonderful Customer Service you Provide

As a regular customer to grandwest I was quite disgusted by how grandwest's security guard asked me to exit the gambling area as she thinks I am underage (I am 19 years old) I did not have my ID with me but could provide proof that I am above 18. All this after the security guard just outside the door agreed that I do actually look above my age. I tried to show a certified copy of my ID but neither the security guard nor her supervisor were even interested at just looking at it. I understand that measures are put in place to keep underage people out of the gambling area but then shouldnt the same measures apply to everyone? This specific security picked on me simply because I am short, it's therefore not a fair judgement for them to randomly pick who they ask to present an ID and who not. Everyone should be treated equally. Above all she was quite rude and did not even want to listen to any reasoning. Utterly disappointed by their service. I would not advise anyone to come here again

I went yesterday 20/07/2014 to Huisgenoot skouspel and wanted to order the Castle special as advertise on the boards. I was informed that they cant serve me what they advertised because they don't even stock Castle Lager 440ml cans and only sell the 330ml bottles. This mean that I had to pay more for a bottle as advertised R20 draught AND that's only after I had to stand long in a que. Please can you inform me how do someone advertised something they can't deliver? I have the picture to prove this statement.
You don't mind if I place the same wording used here on Hellow Peter?
