If I could put zero stars, I would!

Our trip was a disaster from the start.

1. The flights changed to a different airline and an earlier departure. We were not told and missed our flight.

2. We had to spend £175 out of our tight budget on food and drink for our family of 4 at the temporary accommodation we were put in. We were supposed to be heading to an all inclusive hotel so had not budgeted for this. £125 compensation promised but not received.

3. Landed in Antalya, transfers had not been changed. Another £80 out of our budget. We were promised we would get it back, still have not received it.

4. Got to the hotel. Website stated it's English speaking. It's all Russian and Polish. Not even the staff speak English. Entertainment is in Russian, Polish and Turkish.

5. Olivia Stead, our travel rep was rude and then plain ignorant by ignoring all emails.

6. Transfer back to airport was not changed to match new return flight. We missed it. Had to organise it ourselves.

7. Our luggage, which we had already paid £110 for was not added to our new flight. We had to pay 270 euros to bring it back.

8. All emails have been ignored and no promised compensation or refunds have been issued.

Travel Republic destroyed our holiday. It was the holiday from hell and not one single person there, especially Olivia Stead, cares. Our sons were devastated because we could not afford the promised excursions and being stuck in a hotel they could not enjoy due to the language barrier made it worse and we were all stressed beyond belief.

Getting home was the best part of our entire trip.

I will avoid this company like the plague and would recommend everyone else do the same.

I booked a hotel + flight via Travelrepublic website. Flight was nice, had no problems with that. But they hotel was terrible! My room was very dirty and there were roaches and spiders there! I wasn't able to sleep in a room like that. I spoke to the hotel manager and he was very rude. He said that if I wanted a refund I need to contact the company I booked with. So I contacted Travelrepublic and asked for a refund but they never replied. Will never use them again!

We booked a hotel room with Travel Republic under the impression that it was a a quiet establishment. There was no indication on any of the reviews on the Travel Republic website that noise was a factor whatsoever. However, the noise from the road outside the hotel is excessive and extreme. None of the rooms, in fact or the pool area are free from external road noise. This is not mentioned in any of the reviews on the Travel Republic website hence, they are guilty of false advertising or advertising with the absence of a true and correct and real description of the actual circumstance of the hotel.

We contacted Travel Republic on the morning after arrival, however they advised us of a large penalty for early check out and henceforth left us to decide upon that with no alternative offered.

Booked an hotel with travelrepublic.co.uk in October when I got to hotel they had no room for me and told me to come back next day.found my own hotel in the end when I got back home complained to travelrepublic you can only do this by email, but i am getting nowhere after two months.

Would never use this site again and would never recommend them to any one.

We booked a 2 week holiday with Travel Republic> when we got to Luxor the Hotel Isis was NOT as advertised from the stinking rooms to the city view which is a dirty noisy street. The big hotel pool was empty and the little kids pool had ### floating on it with tiles missing> the hotel was being used a transit hotel so twice a day the hotel would fill up with students and it would be a disgrace. The hotel runs a scam that charged us an extra £580 for two quiet rooms as we couldn't sleep in the "city view" ones and the a/c was broken ... and it stank remember. Travel republic hides behind a buffer company called medhotels and another called hotel4u, who even they have difficulty getting hold of ...this is basically two or 3 egyptian guys and a couple of websites... again a scam. NONE of the advertised amenties were open and some had been disused for months possibly years ie the tennis courts and the squash courts. Travel republic have taken 5months to send two resposenses other than the usual we are wiating to hear back letters. They are on the tv saying book with us and the Isis website is still listed as an option with them with no warnings of work being done ... even when they knew the pool was shut and there was an issue with the hotel they continued to book and send people ...we have thier names and adresses! its with abta now ...lets see what they do ... it will appear on u tube with press links if this carries on ...we have over 100 photos this is just a taster.
if uyou book any holiday with travel republic and have a problem they will hide behind an intemediary company ...when you book they will NOT tell you this and good luck to you.

This website sold me two airline tickets to new york over christmas then informed me two days later - that the booking had been cancelled by me and charged me £634.00 for the cancellation. I have reported them to everyone. They are rude - arrogant - This is a web based scam to exhort money from innocent customers. Whatever you do - avoid this company or you will lose your money.
