Grand Crowne Resorts Fake time share

Me and my wife bought the time share in 2010 was shown two cabins and was told they are building more with a huge club house swimming pool and all. It is now December 2023 and no more cabins or club house has been built. You cannot use the time share it's never available in Tennessee . It cost to use it any where else paid 10000 for the worthless timeshare that you can never get through to ,no one will help you there, they will not help you sell it. A 100 percent rip off I want my money back. You can get right through to pay the maintenance fee's with no problems image that but anything else you are out of luck getting any results. I want my money back!

Claimed loss: 10000

Desired outcome: 10000

Grand Crowne Resorts Timeshare

My account is in good standing but got locked somehow. No one is able to help.

July 17: Went online through the Grand Crowne Owners Portal. We were unable to log in.

July 18: Called Grand Crown Reservations. They said the account was locked. After a conversation with GC Owners Services, we were told they did not know why it was locked and we would need to talk to Capital Vacations.

July 20: Called Capital Vacations Owner Services and spoke with Fantasia. She said she did not know why account was locked, but spoke with someone who might be able to help and account should be unlocked within the week.

July 25: After checking with GC… account still locked. Called CVOS and spoke with Julie. She couldn’t help but said she would email her supervisor Jamie. She said she would expedite the request and account should be unlocked in 48 hours.

July 28: After checking with GC… account still locked. Called CVOS and spoke with Bianca. She couldn’t help but said she would email her supervisor Keilon and make sure the request to unlock the account was expedited and account should be unlocked next day.

July 31: After checking with GC… account still locked. Called CVOS and spoke with Maria. She transferred me to Keilon. Keilon said he would need to contact Interval and would call me back later that day. I had not heard from, so I called CVOS yesterday afternoon. Keilon was unavailable but Fantasia let me know the account was still locked.

There is no outstanding balance on this account. Why is it locked? I’d like to hear some solutions and get this resolved as soon as possible. We have 204,000 points to either use or bank by end of August. The points do us no good if we cannot use them.

We are frustrated and disappointed in the inability for anyone to explain why the account was locked or rectify the issue. I have filed an official complaint with the BBB and will be sending a letter to the Branson Chamber of Commerce as well. Either the issues get resolved quickly or my next call will be to a Timeshare Cancellation service (of which there are plenty). We see no point paying for something we cannot use.

Please advise how you plan to resolve this issue.

Desired outcome: Unlock the account!

Grand Crowne Resorts My account not being unlocked for over two weeks so I can book a stay

I am having a hard time saying good morning. I have for over two weeks now been back and forth with Grand Crowne and Interval trying to get my account unlocked so that I may book a stay at Grand Crowne for Oct 6-9.

Yes, my account had been locked due to late maintenance fees, but my husband and I have been struggling financially for a while. I paid the maintenance fees off in full on 8/19/2022. I was told I could then book my stay, nope. I have called almost every day since 8/19/2022 trying to get my account unlocked.

I have had representatives from both Grand Crowne and Interval tell me they were sending an email and a supervisor would get back with me --- never happened.

I have called repeatedly and been transferred to just be told over and over and over again that the place I am calling can't unlock the account.

I have been told by Grand Crowne that my account is active and the problem therefore is on Interval's end.

I have been told by Interval that Grand Crowne needs to contact Interval and inform them to unlock it.

I even had a 3-way call with Lolian Cruz with Grand Crowne where I called [protected] to pay my maintanence fees and with a lady named Desiree with Interval where I called [protected] and Lolian told Desiree that everything was paid and Desiree said she would send an email to someone - she wouldn't tell me who, to have it taken care of. She also told me she would call me back - NEVER HAPPENED. IN FACT - I called her back and one lady told me that she wasn't at work and would be in the next day and I actually called back not even an hour later and a different person answered the phone and told me she was in and he transferred me to her line but I sat on hold and wrapped around and around waiting for her to answer and finally hung up.

This is absolutely ridiculous. I owe nothing. My condo itself has been paid off after years of struggle. I paid off the maintenance fees in full on 08/19/2022 and yet NO ONE IS ABLE TO HELP ME?

My husband is so mad. He doesn't think I am being firm enough to stay on the phone till this is resolved but I am losing my mind. I have bent over backwards trying to talk to someone to help this issue. I was brought to tears today and seriously just wanted to not go to work and just scream and cry.

Why can't someone at Grand Crowne fix this? Or why can't someone with authority at Interval get the information from Grand Crowne and UNLOCK my account.

My next thought process is to drive to Branson MO and go to the home office and just stay there till it is fixed... but I know that won't happen either so if someone cannot help me then I will just have to obtain legal counsel who may have better connections to get something done.

Seriously the worst experience ever!

Desired outcome: Unlock my account. I have been trying for two weeks. I have been crying and so upset by this point. This is ridiculous.

Grand Crowne Resorts Wyndham Club Riverside

We used our points and an exchange fee to stay a week at the Wyndham Club Riverside in San Antonio. Their boiler broke down and they could not get it fixed till Thursday. Because of this, we were without hot water for most of the week. I asked if there was any compensation through them. They said I had to take it up with where I had my timeshare at. I was wondering if there's any compensation for the inconvenience of no hot water most of the week while we were down there. Thank you for your time and consideration!

Desired outcome: Reimbursement of some of my points or some sort of compensation.

Grand Crowne Resorts I did not receive the package I was sold.

I purchased my time share in Pigeon Forge @ the "Lodges" I was told they would build a huge family center with an indoor water park.
I got a room in a building sitting on a hill with nothing. Now I am trying to book a room for May of 2022 and can not get anyone to help me book it. I have called every day since May 10 of 2021 and continue to get passed around to different locations, no help as of 6/3/2021. I spent $11, 000 on nothing and would like a full refund. I have tried everything to hold up my end of the deal and the situation continues to get worse. I have been passed from 1 phone number to another to the point I am not sure which one to call next.

Help!

Desired outcome: Full refund

Grand Crowne Resorts I am no longer an owner or member

My name is David Danford and my wife is Kasi Danford. We were previous owners of a timeshare when finally we gave the resort our property back met with the associates in pigeon forge and voided our contract signed the papers after doing so. Now we're getting letters from a collection agency demanding maintenance fees that we no longer owe. I want this taken care of asap because if it interferes with our credit rating we will file suite and picket at the entrance of your resort until it is taken care of. This resort has been the single biggest mistake of our lives and totally regret even showing up to listen to the seminar. Please take care of this or me and my family will have our signs ready to show people the misleading process you guys try to sell everyone.

Hi David and Kasi. Appreciate hearing your concerns.

It's nearly impossible to discuss the details of your issue in an open forum, as the financial information is highly protected. I might suggest nicely making an appointment at the head offices and bringing in your paperwork. I'm sure the issue can be resolved.

Please be aware you can still be liable for any maintenance fees until your timeshare is sold. In addition, be aware that picketing on private property is strictly prohibited and, although you're welcome to picket on public property, most counties require that you apply for and receive a permit. There's no reason to add to your frustration by providing a timeshare in the county jail.

Grand Crowne Resorts misrepresentation of timeshare package

We purchased a timeshare package through Grand Crowne resorts several years ago while we were visiting Pigeon Forge. We were told that they didn't have any properties available for the Pigeon Forge location at that time, but that we could purchase property for the Branson location and be able to transfer it to the Pigeon Forge location because they were in the midst of building the cabins. At that time, there were about 2 cabins we could view on the tour, but nothing has been built since so we're never going to be able to transfer our ownership to the Pigeon Forge area since it doesn't even exist and the likelihood of us going all the way to Branson is slim. We feel we have certainly been taken for a ride with this one. The only thing we use our package for is to pay and exchange fee to use it through Interval Int'l and even there's a fee with them too. We would like to talk to a representative to see what our options are because we're paying for a timeshare package that will be worthless to us and our children.

Grand Crowne Resorts Lack of closure by gcr, tpi, and capital resorts

1.In sep, 2013, my wife and I entered into this timeshare agreement!
2.In aug, 2014, I advised gcr that we could no longer make payments and
Will be withdrawing from the contract with no request for refund at all!
3.In oct, 2014, we sent in all medical papers to justify our actions due

Nursing homes. If gcr had accepted that, gcr would have been paid
13 months at 185/month, plus $900 down payment with having put out
Nothing for us! They rrefused!
4.In nov, 2015, a year later, I got the tpi notice and replied that I still had
To pay for the maintenance fees!
5. I sent an email to gcr and advised them that we had received the tpi
Notice and that we were not paying for it, since we had not paid for the
Timeshare. In response to that email, gcr reps sent me a solution to
Consider: mutual release agreement * (Mra). After reading it, I was
Upset that they did not do this earlier upon receipt of the medical

6. I downloaded it, signed it and gcr received it. Two weeks later, the rep
From gcr said the mra was being held up due to the maintenance

8.In dec, 2016 three months ago, I got the tpi notice, contacted tpi they

Mra that she said gcr did not have on file. I sent it to tpi, and they

But, to end this fiasco, I did it, signed it the 7th or so of jan (6 weeks

He sent the check request to gcr (But, then changed to tpi later) in
Jan, 2017. I emailed him today, feb 13th, 2017, and he said he sent

Should have been resolved over a year ago!

9.In closing, I am retired air force and learned to use the chain of command. I assumed gcr was the "boss" and tpi/cap resorts worked as their manager. I assume you are the board of directors who could look into this, thus sending this email to you. I have done two things: first, sent this entire sequence of events to the better business bureau of missouri; and had three of my friends who used gcr to quit and sell their timeshares as they were having same issues, but not as bad. They each were able to sell at market. I had to do a mra after spending nearly $2000 on nothing.
10. I thank you for your time and hope to hear from the bod on this soon!

Grand Crowne Resorts Timeshare for grand crowne pigeon forge

In 2013, like many others it seems, my wife and I attended the presentation for these timeshares and were shown all kinds of plans. The presentation began with the representative showing us beautiful facilities in Branson. After being pressured repeatedly, we ended up relenting and agreeing in good faith to purchase a time share with Grand Crowne.
We were sold on the exchange opportunities with Interval International and told we could use the facilities at Branson Mo as well. But, as we were signing on the dotted line...wait, we have an even better deal for you. They then showed us Pigeon Forge and exclaimed we would only pay maintenance fees every other year. Interestingly and to our dismay, the price remained the same. Since that time we have called for use of the facilities only to have them state they were booked up. They have also determined they do not have enough of our money and are pressing us for maintenance fees for every year because they must do so much maintenance work on their facilities. There are numerous phone numbers you have to go through to speak to anyone. You always get the run around with them and they blame it on one of the other departments. Never get straight answers out of anyone. As been told by a friend, they tried to book for a weekend and were told the units were full. They went anyway and got a hotel room in Gatlinburg and decided to drive by to see the property. There are two other multi-unit buildings complete aside from the original show cabin and another unit under construction which appears to have been abandoned. The property past this is fenced off and no other progress has been made.
There is no club house no water park no tennis courts nothing but a muddy hillside and the sales office. Our friends spoke with someone on the phone about it their impression after seeing the woefully incomplete facility and were told that when demand went up they would build more. After all that we and numerous others have forked out for this opportunity, how can demand go up if you have nothing available for anyone? Also what does demand have to do with amenities?
I want to know how I can get out from under this timeshare. This is a world class bunch of reprobates and I want out. I attempted to sell our timeshare in 2014 through the Realtor identified in the contract. At the time, he wished me luck stating he had a backlog of over 2, 000 units that people wanted to unload. Does anyone know how we can escape Grand Crowne?

Has anyone had any luck with getting out of their timeshare? I'm all in for a class action suit! We talked to an attorney that handles crooks like this but they informed us that we are stuck due to Crowne Royal has a suit against them already. We were also the property has been sold so they can no longer expand. I feel this is a breach of contract and we should be allowed to turn in our deeds and be free!

I agree with each of you and it gets worse. It's my understanding; now that Capital Resorts purchased the remaining Condo's in Pigeon Forge. This leaves only 3 units (I think) for true Grand Crowne owners which means demand will go up; maintenance fees will go up and we are stuck. So either transfer over to Capital, which I think wouldn't be so bad or continue paying and getting nothing in return. Not even our Free Dolly Wood tickets annually for going to an "owners update" which was in our written agreement. I am hopeful Capital is not as misleading, especially now that they are under NHG

No great ideas of how to get out of Grand Crowne without transferring over to Capital Resorts. We are in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburgh area several times a year and been owners for 4 years. Not once have we been able to use the Lodges. However have been assured, without a doubt would not have that problem when/if we transfer over.

I feel your pain. We are going through the exact same thing and refused to pay our yearly "dues" or "maintenance fees' which continue to escalate. They did however debit the $550+ maintenance fees out of our account without our permission. I really think we all need to band together and file a class action lawsuit. They have in no way upheld their part of the sale and just keep selling "nothing" over and over. Worst mistake we have made as adults. How do we get out of this vicious cycle?

[protected]:15 PM Called [protected] as instructed above. Transferred to voice mail of Gina Baker, Compliance Manager. Her message states do not leave multiple messages since she will call back. I left message indicating I’ve never received call back nor response to emails. Will call every day until $344.00 is refunded and package is cancelled.

She told me that one of the Compliance Managers is out for surgery and my call will be returned when possible. Lauren advised that the 30-day notice will not be waived if they are unable to call me back after the 30-days have expired. I continued to request another manager; she restated all were at lunch. I advised I did not want her voice mail, I wanted my money back and wanted to speak with a human. I said, “Thank you, have a nice day.”
[protected]:45 Called again. Melody answered again. Transferred me to Gina Baker’s voice mail again after asking me, “Did you call earlier?” I responded yes, and then she transferred to Gina Baker’s voice mail. I advised her I’d been attempting to correspond since April 11th without response. I’ve left voicemail, emails and written communication to cancel this vacation package. I’m considering turning it our legal counsel. She can return my call or expect communication from our attorney.

This is the biggest rip off ever
Called number that I was given to sell my unit. Was given a 3rd party number that was to sell
or give to another for maintenance cost. Sent Richard Caldwell 300.00 for listing and sellers
fee. thought he had sold it but company went south leaving no address, number listed is fictitious, and money is gone. Jacqueline Alfred from Carriage place now tells me she can take it back for a fee of $2750.00 or I can give I away to a charity . That's all I want to do, I can't
believe a big company s playing games with buyers and third party crooks. I can't even get a person that can take my back dues on line or by phone that I should never had been billed.
Can someone help me give this time share back to them ? I'll pay the maintenance

Grand Crowne Resorts We can't book the room and this company didn't provide any support

We got the timeshares for the room in Grand Crowne Resorts. Also we could use it in Pigeon Forge for additional fee. The company told us that we could book it at any time, but we tried to book it for April, 2015 and July, but all our attempts failed. Each time we got the email that there were problems with our credit card, but we didn’t think it was problem in our card. I think that they have messed up with it and don’t want to help us.

Grand Crowne Resorts Deceit

As I've posted before, we were led to believe that we were purchasing a specific week at Pigeon Forge, that we could use every other year, a 2 bedroom cabin. We understand the points system, but we were told that we would have a deeded cabin at Pigeon Forge. All of our paperwork says Branson Missouri. We have no desire to ever go to Branson. We are supposedly paying maintenance fees on property in Pigeon Forge. We were informed that we don't have enough points to go to Pigeon Forge. How is it that you pay maintenance fees on property that doesn't exist. Well anyway people who have contacted me and those that haven't, I am on vacation in Myrtle Beach right now and looking into what these people are putting out there now, so if you haven't contacted me as of yet, please do. Together we canake a difference. Also if any of you have names of any of the sales people please forward those to me as well. Thanks

Grand Crowne Resorts Dissatisfied Service

We brought a time share in July 2013 paid them off in Sept 2014; funny how you get a call for a good deal but they want you to go through another tour. Well, we did and all they wanted was to to sale us more points. WE were going to but 4 hours later, they still couldn't get there stuff together. So we told them no thanks. We didn't get the other stuff with our package we paid for $100 for another tour and a 5 day 6 night stay. Mr Norton what who we dealt with and he followed my husband all the way to our vehicle telling us to come back the next morning etc... I said no. Needless to say his boss, a female I can't remember her name, called us back the next morning and left a message for us to come and sign papers for more points etc... and pick up our tour money etc...we called her back said no to the the additionl points and asked that she mail the other out since we did pay a fee for the other as we were already headed home. Still nothing today and we can't get any return calls. WE are ready to sale our time share with the help of another company. We never realized this would be the service we got after we paid for our timeshare. What a waste ! Sign - RUN DO NOT GO TO THE GATLINGBURG OFFICE - The LODGES ! Sign... Birmingham AL Customers who are truly dissatisifed. TOUR ID 2031022

Grand Crowne Resorts false advertising

I became an owner in spring 2011. The plans we were shown made us excited to be owners and gave us something to look forward to in our future . We purchased this property with the assumption of steady growth. Since 2011 this company has 27 units available and still no clubhouse. My question is I am only one person for the last 4 years who would like to know where is all the money going? I spoke to a representative in pigeon forge today March 2015 and great news for all those owners I was informed they were breaking ground next week. Really . That's the same crap they said 4 years ago . I'm selling my share but if anyone is smart they wouldn't buy it. I have other complaints about this business but this the main complaint. This company will lie to get you in and lie to keep you there, they are trained to do this. Also, I would like to add that the rep who called me back today was heartless she could care less about the reality of this business she whole hardly represents. It's pathetic, there pathetic. I hope this business crashes and all the employees go down with them. Karma

Grand Crowne Resorts did not follow thru w/promises made & sold to us even tho we didn't meet guidelines

We were solda timeshare with promises made that we could come back a few weeks with EIN number and transfer ownership into the business when we tried they said it had to be paid in full before the switch. we were only making 20, 000 dollars a year at the time and the minimum requirements for purchase with 50 or 60, we were not married, we were told that we can sell it back to them for the price we paid but when we tried who were not allowed to do it. there were many other items in the list please contact me at the above number to go overeverything
