Hi
When I was 'supposedly' selling my tickets the guy I spoke to assured me that I would have payment in my bank account no longer than Tuesday, that the money was sat waiting to be transferred into my account and I would actually see it going through my account on Sunday night as long as the ticket buyer had recived the ticket, used it and it was correct. I keep watching on here because I realy feel for you guys and do hope that you will received what you are owed!

Also 10 days to process a payment...that is a long time!

Interesting...to be honest I will still be uneasy till the end of this week. Not sure about others but my tickets were CAt1 quite near the front and sold as a pair at almost £3k a piece. They were 'bought' literally within a few hours and sent off to Taylor White. Now I don't think a tout would buy tickets for that kind of price to be honest. That's why I have my reservations. As I said we will soon see...! I am still trying to keep an open mind!

Hi, I agree with you Tone10. It costs quiet a bit to get to the top 3 of google. The buying for re-selling does make sense, I know contacting a few people everyone seemed to have the same pre-determined prices they would pay for pairs, depending on whether they were cat 1, 2, or 3's. Most of our tickets ended up in the hands of execs, big bankers and foreign vip. The average joe forking out £2500 for a ticket seems unrealistic.

I am also quiet intrigued at how much detail there is on some of the other events, and if you look at them they dont seem to be trying over the top to make people believe that tickets for these events exists, there seems to be a blend of tickets for some events and none for others. I would like to take some comfort in that.

No one has contacted me re the bank details so I cant move forward on that as yet. Whether they legit or scammers, getting those bank details looked at is the only positive I can see for now...if we dont that a/c will be empty and all we will have is the persons name who opened the a/c and an address...chances are they could be faked as well!

Perhaps we're being too hasty. I think the way they have dealt with people by firstly saying they would get paid straight away and then the issues of everyone seemingly sending tickets to the same/similar addresses is suspicious, but perhaps the two buyers in question are touts that are purchasing the tickets and making a quick buck selling upwards of what they are buying them for. Its a long shot I know but looking at the fact they must have spent a lot of time and money getting to the top of the listings and that there are still tickets for various events up for sale, perhaps we may get our money after all. If not then I will join any fight people can muster up to ensure they dont get away with this...

Yes, possibly they are stalling but theoretically they could also be going through the orders to see on which ones the tickets did not work for the buyers e.g. Nice guy Eddy. Potentially, he could profit twice. he watched the match and also got paid. The Taylor White issue is basically them buying as many tickets as possible I think by using various addresses around the South East. I think essentially the site was prentending to be a viagogo to get you to part with them in the first place. Well if she said by the end of the week, I guess we will have to wait till Friday...let's see!

Hi, Can anyone out there send me the a/c details for Ground Western Sports? You can e-mail me directly, that might be better.

I have been thinking, and this is just my thoughts. Why are they taking calls? 1. They could be legit and intend to pay? (Wouldnt explain the T.White scenario at various addresses but maybe theres an explanation out there.)

2. They intend to flee. The only reason they would still be answering is if they are not in a position to do that just yet, maybe they need more time to clear all funds from the Ground Western Sports a/c? With the a/c details we could move forward here, names, addresses etc etc

I mean if they were totally out of the woods they would not be answering calls, they would be long gone!

Maybe the sellers haven't twigged on yet as officially you'd still be waiting for your cash (since they say 3-5 days post match) and it's only that time now. Did the people who paid for tickets actually get tickets to go to the match? Sent ours to Taylor white on star lane bromley. Think we need to get the media involved in picking this story up as well as the police ... the media are our best way forward!

Hi, Like i said they could be legit or trying to close up shop. We need that bank a/c asap if we can get it!

Just had another thought, if there were loads of people that were duped out there, ie that didnt receive there tickets why are they not on here yet? I mean GTM was on the top 3 of google, they would have bought / sold quiet a bit...and if ppl didnt get there tickets all they would have to do is search Global Ticket Market and this board comes up probably 5-7 on that search.

Were only a few ppl duped or do only a few ppl care to pursue this? I can understand sellers are still under the t&c on waiting for funds, so numbers there are still on the wait and see basis.

Hi all,
I managed to get a person pick up the line. It was the same female. She said that currently their accounts department is processing the payments and they should arrive in my account by the end of the week.

Not sure what to believe. She reiterated that they might need up to 10 days for the payment to be processed although most of the sellers should have received by end of this week.

Hi, Has anyone got through as yet? A friend of mine has, he said he spoke to someone a female who said payments are being made this week. He said she was quiet friendly and helpful.

Anyone else have any luck? This could be a holding tactic, it would give them an extra 10-14 days to get away as there t&c gave them 10 days originally to pay, now it says 3-5 days. It could be this is the time they need to withdraw funds from there uk account?

Anyone have details of there uk bank a/c? It may be time to bring the bank into what could be a scam?

@ Benson79 - mate you didnt loose out on £326, trust me much much more. You could have sold your tickets on various sites (I dont wish to name them on here) but we all know some name. I would say on average probably £2000-£4000 is what this company has cost you in losss of earnings!

They would have sold these tickets at probably market rates of £2k each, if they sold them for anything less buyers would have become suspicious. So why should they profit from what would have rightly been yours if you had went through any of the other channels?

Hi, I think buyers are much better off then sellers. All buyers should be covered if they purchased on there credit card. Section 75 of the Credit Card Act so dont worry too much. The full monies should be replaced by your card provider in due course, no doubt they will pursue these folks too. Everyone see the Beijing ticket scandal, collapsing companies etc. That didnt fly with the judge and neither will this.

Sellers dont be afraid of reporting this to the police, these people are preying on the fact that we would be afraid to do so. Why should we? Remember they were not the sole company selling tickets advertised on google, there were some big names out there + loads of companies were selling hospitality tickets also. If the police find it was wrong what we are doing, then they should start chasing all those other companies too. Dont be afraid... if FIFA can get away with whats happening why should we be scared ;-)

Not sure where to start on this, but I feel physically sick! I too, like many others, sent my tickets to Taylor White, he certainly has bought a lot of tickets!
I guess the comforting fact is that I'm not alone, but I do feel let down and truly p***ed off! Ultimately I have only lost out on the cost of the tickets (i.e. £326), but not only that, I have lost out on the opportunity to go to one of the most watched matches in history.
I will be keeping everything crossed over the next few days, but something says, like everyone else, I won't be getting any money through! I'll keep you posted if I do!
Good luck everyone and lesson well and truly learned on my part!

Hi, I am ready to start on this. Who else is in?

Who confirmed there a/c was with LLoyds? We may need to contact the police to stop this a/c firstly!
I have called and spoke to several people with GTM, I have the names, times and dates. This was AFTER I sent my tickets to them and was keeping close tabs on them!

Also, we dont seem to have a lot of people on this who either didnt get paid, or received there tickets. I would assume that will start from today when they realise the number doesnt work!

Yes, I meant that the selling of secondary tickets is a minor offence. Once it becomes clear it is fraud taking place then it is an entirely different matter as seen with the case of xclusive tickets

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/financial-crime/8522091/Six-accused-of-Beijing-Olympics-tickets-scam.html

I hope it doesn't come to that but I for one am prepared to pursue this.

Denver79 - Think you're right. I was talking from my point of view as someone who had put tickets onto the site to sell and then didn't. I feel genuinely sorry for those who posted tickets and who are now worried about receiving payment. According to my friend the fact that they have asked you to post them to an address that is not valid is fraud. Look at the people on here who have all been told to post their tickets to the same address I mean how many tickets did one address need to purchase? That in itself is receipt of goods by fraudulent means! And that's not taking into consideration the people who never received their tickets! Just want to forget the whole damn thing now as it's left me feeling quite sick. My best wishes go out to all those waiting for their money tomorrow, I hope it comes through.

@  totallygullible - I think DCP770 means selling secondary tickets is the minor offence and not paying sellers or delivering tickets that were paid for as major FRAUD.

@ dcp ur right they made headlines as they were constantly appearing on the top of google search engines + there prices, maybe not the highest priced but enough to be noticed by a few press offices.

Hi
Regardless of anything I just hope that the genuine sellers and buyers receive a favourable outcome in all of this. I just was not willing to take the chance so opted out early. I still cant believe that what they have been doing is only a minor offence and I am sure that many people who genuinely paid for those tickets in good faith never received them. I just hope that pay day comes tomorrow for you sellers but to be honest I am not holding my breath!

Well..I hear differently from the police when I made hypothetical enquiries with New Scotland Yard..the advantage with GTM is that they were heavily featured in the mainstream press as having CLF tickets at sky high prices so prelimanry enquries were made at that time. Also there are no names on the website but they have used real names to open their main bank account and rent properties.
They haven'tr actually commiteed a major offence yet aside from selling tickets which were not meant for secondary purchasers. However, that is a relatively minor matter.
Were they to not pay any of the sellers though and simply took everyones money then you would be talking about a six figure sum fraud for which the serious crimes unit would put in many man hours to identify and arrest them and for which they would be looking at a substantial fine or sentence.

Hi, you were lucky totallygullible to get out when you did. Sadly I was not. The sad truth for sellers is that we cud have sold our tickets on various other sites maybe for slightly less, or face to face ie thru craigslist and been paid! This company has obviously profited greatly from our tickets, and have the cash to pay us. How can we seek compensation / reimbursement? Can we find any legal protection through any channels?

Hi,
We were lucky enough to read the reviews on this site before parting with two tickets for the CLF. Was told to post them to a Stephen Holland, Star Lane, Orpington, Bromley. Was not happy with the process and not receiving any guarantees of payment before posting so google mapd the address and was quite run down and certainly not a property you would expect to have residents prepared to pay out nearly £5k in tickets. Did not send mine and will have nothing more to do with this company. I have cancelled my card and changed all my details on their website and informed a friend of mine who happens to be a police officer of the scam. According to my friend the police have their hands tied without any real contact names, addresses and identities but that numerous complaints have been made about this company across many police authorities so would not expect them to be around for much longer. Their threat of reporting you to UEFA for trying to illegally sell tickets is all scare tactics as it is also illegal to profit for them sales and at 15% commission per sale I am sure they have made ridiculous amounts of money from what they have been doing. They also broke their terms and conditions when I was offered the option of hand delivering the tickets which as a seller my t&c strongly stated I was not able to do. My best friend's Uncle is a barrister and as given me loads of advice on this situation and my advice to sellers is not to worry but do make sure that you have cancelled all your payment methods and change your details. At the end of the day no matter how much they try to scare you into thinking you are legally obliged to them you are not!

And I went too to Wembley on Saturday to try my luck getting in - took all documentation and even had a copy of the ticket. Was told at Wembley there was absolutely no way a ticket would be reprinted under any circumstances. Tried many different booths and no luck. Even said I'd wait till after game started to ensure no one had used my ticket but they said it wouldn't work that way - so you were very very lucky Nice Guy Eddy.
Good to see some people got tickets but out of curiosity - has anyone actually been paid?!?
