Their business practices are fraudulent and unlawful, they totally misrepresent their chandeliers, stating that they are 100% crystal and I was charged for items I didn't receive.

I ordered 5 chandeliers and two sconces from Gallery 84, who is also doing business as Spectrum Home Furnishings in June 2008. When I received my order I was shocked to see that the chandeliers had missing parts, the prisms were scratched, they had plastic parts, which David stated they would be 100% crystal. The glass centers were all filthy and had to be cleaned. They all arrived unassembled and with very lousy directions, it was a joke!
The sconces were on back order so when I opened the box of the shades from the coordinating chandeliers, they were filthy and had hot glue smeared all over them. I phoned customer service and was told that I would be credited for the shades I had received and the sconces which were going to be sent out within a week. I found out later that I was not credited for these shades, even the ones I hadn't received. I had to debate about the price I was charged and they eventually agreed. But, I still wasn't credited. I couldn't believe this situation and it was getting worse by the minute.
I spoke with an agent, David and told him about everything I was experiencing and he told me he would switch them out with different chandeliers but at our expense because they don't allow refunds, and that we wouldn't receive Swarovski crystals, which were all scratched in the first place. I was angry at that point and told him that he was a liar and if he wouldn't have lied in the first place I wouldn't be in this situation and demanded a complete refund. I told him I would contact my credit card company.

This company is full of dishonest people from Customer Service to Sales and they are in business to take advantage of people.

After my experience with this company I found that several other consumers have complaints against this company with similar complaints and the rude responses they have received from this company. My credit card company has credited back my full balance but their bank still has not attempted to resolve this situation. I Wish I had known about the complaints filed with Better Business Bureau and complaints.com, I hope my complaint will steer everyone clear away from these dishonest people. I am amazed that they remain in business I have contacted New Jersey's State Police and filed a complaint against Gallery 84's fraudulent practices.

My husband and I ordered these chandeliers for our brand new home and we had to re-order from another company. Since we had such a small window of time to re-order and close on our house we had to pay $350.00 to extend the lock for our rate we weren't able to close on the day we were supposed to. This would have never happened if this company would have been honest and legitimate in the first place. My husband recently retired from the Air Force after serving 26 years and we came to the states after being away for two consecutive overseas tours, six years. We finally got to build our dream home and this company's business practices made it a nightmare. They jeopardized our closing, they're rude, they evade phone calls, they will not satisfy at any cost!! I would not recommend this company to anyone!!

Thank you so much for this information. I was thinking of ordering a chandelier from them. I was suspicious when they seem to be the only company that has this chandelier and all other companies have it on back order. I will wait 2 months and order from a company I know is reputable.

This company uses false advertising. I ordered 40mm clear crystal balls advertised as high quality. They were not high quality at all. Every single crystal had unpolished drilled holes. 90% had polishing scrapes. 75% had chips and scratches. I called and complained and they agreed to allow me to return them for a refund. I asked if I could exchange them for a better quality product they said they only have the same quality products.
