Empire Beauty School - Rush Services

I came into the salon at 1:00 and stayed around closing on 7/1/2022 and that was still not enough time to do my hair.

My hair was still tangle up, hard , and uncombed on the left side.

The color was not even close to the wig color that I desired. My hair was left on the right side uncombed and still hard.

The manager asked when was the last time you wash your hair?

How Unprofessional is that?

If you can't deal with thick, coarse hair then don't pretend like you can do hair.

I was very unsatisfied and unhappy.

Desired outcome: I want a refund, for the bad color, and the rush services.

Empire Beauty School - awful experience

I originally went in on feb 12, 2016 to get my roots redone, I have platinum blonde hair, but my natural is dark brown (Borderline black), this means, my roots should have been bleached and then the appropriate color should have been applied. However, savannah and ms. Mccormack just put a 'light color' on my roots, I left with golden brown roots, and poorly blowdried hair. When I contested, they said 'you didnt say you needed to be bleached', well I am sorry, that as a professional you should have known and seen a]the color of my roots and b] the color of my eyebrows. Nonetheless, I was told to come back for a repeat service, (Yes, this meant me driving an hour out of my way again to come here), the following week, feb 17, 2016, I returned at 9:40am, they put lightner all over, and used a toner (Not the one they wanted to use, but mr. Pizza improvised and mixed 2 toners together, after they rinsed it, I had silver hair.. And needless to say I was livid. Ms q and the other sad sorry excuse for a teacher that they had substituting thought that for whatever reason it would be good to do a 'bleach wash', after about 15 min, they rinsed it and I now had yellow hair and my clothes were drenched. I had refused to leave, I demanded that they fix it, savannah (The stylist) 'was so upset she stormed off'; but why was she upset when I was the one who now had yellow damaged hair. I spoke to mr. Pizza and he said 'you can take your money and leave, (Yeah right like I was going to be seen in public with yellow hair), and then proceeded to tell me that "I came to a hair school to get my hair done, and it is a place of learning) (Well sorry mr. Pizza you are just as uneducated and incompetent as the buffoons you have enrolled in your school).
Victoria then took over, and decided she was going to do a full foil, she wanted to use 30v developer and mr. Pizza said use 20v, she said that she would go switch out the bowls when he wasn't looking because she thought she knew better. After the foils were done processing victoria was nowhere to be found because she was on the phone with her 'amazing italian boyfriend rocco' and after the foils, they decided it would be a good idea to not tone it to avoid a color I didn't want because they were not equipped as a salon. (Why nobody thought to check the stock for the colors they might need prior to destroying my image is beyond me) (So while I was overprocessing, victoria was being enamored) finally she rinsed it, and my locks were literally falling out, my hair was stringy and fried. She then went in and chopped it against my will, I specifically said 'I do not want a straight cut' and now I have what is hands down the worst cut in my life, she ignored all of the pointers the teacher gave her on how to cut so that it would not look like it was cut in a line each layer, but she didn't listen. Now I have hair that is significantly shorter than when I went in, and it is utterly destroyed. This visit to the salon caused me to miss school because I left at 5:30pm (I had not eaten or had a sip of water from 9:40am-5:30pm), end up with a $75 parking ticket (Because you are not allowed to leave the salon), and now I have no hair because victoria cut it all off. I demand that something be done, this can not continue to happen. I will attach photos so that everyone can see how long my hair was when I was there vs what was left of it when I left.
