Electronic Express Delivery and damage to our home

My wife and I have been long time customers of Electronics Express and have always had a good experience with them till now. We have a problem that started 7/15/21 and as of 5/30/22 has yet to be taken care of. On 7/5/21 we went to the Murfreesboro store to purchase 4 major appliances. We spoke with Doug Summers (salesman) and he showed us and we purchased 4 GE Profile appliances. Doug was polite and helpful. I asked Doug about our current refrigerator that was only 3 years old if the delivery people could put it in the garage for us since we were going to give it to someone that needed it. Doug told us it would be no problem and they would to it as a courtesy for us.

Around 7/15/21 the delivery people delivered 3 of the appliances the Refrigerator, Stove and dishwasher. When I told them that Doug Summers said they would move the old refrigerator to the garage, the delivery person said no that he was going to cut all of the door harnesses and dispose of the refrigerator. When I asked him the second time he said he would do it if I gave him and his partner $100. Because I had promised the refrigerator to someone I gave him and his partner the money.

The delivery people got the dishwasher and stove in with no problems. Then when they brought the refrigerator in they didn’t use a dolly or put a pad or quilt down. They just slid it down our hardwood floors in the hallway, dining room and kitchen. Leaving over two dozen scratches and gouges in the hardwood floors. And they damaged the new refrigerator. The delivery people looked at it and said that the company would take care of it and they would call us to set up a time to deliver a new refrigerator and fix the floors.

After a week or so no one called so I called Doug Summers and told him what happened and he said he would get the money back to me and the company would fix the floors and he gave me a number to call. I talked to Christian Gilliam and the delivery center and he set up a time to deliver the new refrigerator and pick up the damaged one. He also said he had people they used to fix the floors and he would have to contact them and it may be a few weeks. Two months later and I didn’t hear anything so I called again and talked to Christian. He said he would check it out. A few weeks later Phillip Barfield from B&G Construction in Chattanooga came by to look at the floors. He said that it would take a couple of days to do the job and we would have to stay in a hotel for a couple of nights. He said when he got approval he would set up a time but it would be awhile because he had a lot going on. After a couple of months we heard nothing. I got a couple of estimates from local flooring companies and they both said it would be around $1200 to do the job.

I called Christian Gilliam and told him I haven’t heard from B&G Construction and could we just use a local company and be done with it all. He said no because they had already paid B&G Construction and he would have B&G Construction call me. This was the end of October and as of today I have heard from no one. No one reimbursed me for the shakedown money the delivery people got from me. And no one repaired or reimbursed us to get our damaged floors fixed. No one from Electronic Express had ever reached out to us to find out if things were ever taken care of. Apparently they don’t feel the need to make sure their customers are taken care of. No one seems to care.

Electronic Express Employees not doing jobs

purchased a range on Thursday and was told it came in on Friday. So, I told salesman I would pick up between 9 and 10 on Saturday. I get at store at 9:30 not realizing store didn't open till 10 am. my mistake so, I go in at 10 hand salesman my receipt to pick up stove. I am waiting about 30 minutes I start asking where is stove no one not really giving me an answer. The salesman that so it to me shows up head to register looking up stove tells me they didn't order enough black stoves so I would have to wait another week to get mine.
so, I demand a refund. I tell the salesman that someone is not doing their job correctly and he laughs at me. which I didn't think was very funny by this time I have wasted about 3 hours on a stove that I still don't have and all this there was no other customers in store but other employees sitting around drinking coffee and BSing. salesman explains to me how they are overwhelmed with appliances but no range for me. so no one checked them in properly. because if they would have, they would have call me instead of wasting my time. Your store has lost my business and will make sure other people see this to social media play a big part in today's society.

Desired outcome: I think management should be responsible for this.

Electronic Express Charging for products they don't have.

This company takes orders online and charges peoples credit cards for items they don't have in stock or may not be able to get for weeks without contacting the customer! They are holding peoples money across the board. They wait for you to call in and when you finally do they lie to you about your order and its processing time. They don't offer you any remedy except your money back. It's a scam!

Desired outcome: Offer people next day shipping or do not charge for items you don't have!

Electronic Express Exercise bike

I purchased it 2/25/2021 It is a exercise bike they didn't bring it out until 2 weeks later and it was a bike that didn't work and I could also tell it was Use and had multiple scratches they said I could get my money back but that's was also a lie " because I finance it " so they said they would bring me a new one the Tuesday of that next week but I never heard anything everytime I call they would leave me on hold so when I did talk to them on the phone they told me they and 4 at different locations that was also broke and use I also let them know I was very disappointed with their service it's been a month now and I still have nothing I went in the store Very pissed off Only to talk to some rude lady telling me o wouldn't get Anything if I didn't be quiet because I was to loud at this point I Really want my Money back I do t want to do service with you people Anymore I had surgery and I'm trying to build my strength back up I don't need anything else in your store but that

Desired outcome: I want my Money back or my Bike a brand new bike not used with scratches and the bike Don’t work

Electronic Express dishwasher

Everything and everyone was great until after the sale was made after the cell is made you are no longer a priority I bought this dishwasher as a surprise for my grandmother for christmas it was to be installed a day after christmas before she got back from her trip they came out to install it and realized they did not have the l shape hoses for my l-shaped kitchen so I had to drive into town in mind you I live 25 minutes outside of town to switch out and get the right one drove back home they again attempted to install it and realize the dishwasher they sold me they did not have the hookups for so I had to drive back to cookeville to get a dishwasher that will before making the sale to me I explained him how her old dishwasher was not draining and if there was any complications they would be able to fix any and all well upon him leaving from installing the dishwasher I asked him to make sure it drained he hit a button told me you hear that sound that's it draining so I trusted him my grandma ride the next day to her brand new dishwasher and was so excited upon her using the dishwasher the first time is not draining nor does it have any hot water I contacted electronic express they said they would have somebody out that saturday well that saturday came and nobody showed up I called again explain the situation and was put on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on I tried calling back three more times with no answer so my first day off of work I went up to electronic express and I sent somebody out a week later we were told he is not a repairman and seemed to know nothing about the issue and that they would send somebody else out that can fix it. This dishwasher was installed a day after christmas and it is now february 10th with nothing from them I am outraged considering this was a christmas present to my very old grandmother who needs this dishwasher due to not being able to stand for long periods of time

On July 23, 2021, I visited the Huntsville, AL store where I ordered and paid for a Chromebook for my daughter for school. I made it very clear to them that it was required for school, which she was starting the following week. They told me it would be delivered to the store on July 27, 2021. I went back to the store on July 28, 2021 to pick it up. I was told it did not arrive and that the warehouse never put it on the truck. An employee from the Huntsville store reached out to the warehouse to confirm they still had the 3 laptops that were showing in the inventory, which they did. I was told the District Manager approved for the warehouse to mail it directly to my residence via 2 day mail and that it would arrive NLT July 31, 2021. It never showed up. On August 2, 2021, I called back to the Huntsville store to find out what was going on, to find out that it was STILL NEVER SHIPPED OUT! This is the ABSOLUTE WORST experience I have had with this type of purchase. Although employees try to remain nice and polite, it is just excuse after excuse. My daughter has now started school and does not have the required laptop she is supposed to have. Complete BS from this store. Screw up after screw up, and although I have once again been told it is being mailed today, I still am not provided a tracking number or anything. I paid for this item, along with an extended warranty. I would never recommend purchasing anything from Electronic Express unless you are able to inspect the item in the store and walk out of the doors with it in hand. Not once have they offered to refund any portion of the money or give anything to compensate for their continuous screw-ups.

Electronic Express customer service

I was told by a sales associate that everything in the store was on a "up to 50% off" sale. So I clearly asked if a headset was gonna be cheaper than the $149 they had marked. She said yes. I asked how much and she said she wasnt sure. As we went to the front to check out, she was hollaring at another employee about some baby shower. Well come to find out, the $149 listed was the actual price. I called to talk to the manager about it and he was just as rude. By far I wont be coming back to electronic express if customer service doesnt change. I've never been more disrespected in my life by a store!

Electronic Express installation of stereo

Bought stereo back up camera and accessories. Paid for installation.2012 ram 1500. Haf complain to manager bout back camera being distorted. Was out riding in my field notice radio and dash pad bouncing. Syop took bezzel that covers stereo. Installer has cut out metal bracing. Cut out insert that held stock radio. Cut dash pad out where it screws into metal bracing. Bern to to several times. He return stereo back up camera. Told me he's waiting on corporate to take care of dash. District manager has not called. Took 2 estimates. To store manager called corporate everyday. Email everyday no one is responding to this issues. Maybe anyone had stereo installed might want to check if they cut out their support bracing also. Just saying i'm not the only one

Electronic Express terrible customer service

I tried to buy a TV from the Electronic Express Amazon site. They had a Memorial Day sale on a Samsung TV. After I

placed the order, a few days later they sent me an e-mail stating there was a pricing mistake on the site and the

order has been cancelled. Offering an insignificant amount of credit towards another purchase. To which I respond..

Are you kidding me? How do I know you're going to abide to this price? This is why people are reluctant to buy

things online. Because if this happens at a department store, the store would have to honor their prior price as

seen by the customer on the floor.

Electronic Express poor product

I had a refrigerator delivered on 3/10/12 that does not work ! This company has customer service that sucks! I have spoken with them on numerous occassions and have yet to have a new refrigerator . The guy that sets up deliveries named Quenton is totally useless and is unable to even feel such simple shoes. As of 3/24/12 I still have not received a refrigerator.

Electronic Express bad quality & bad service

I purchased this tv on December 26, 2008 at Electronic Express in Franklin TN. I did not buy the warranty because my family had always owned Sylvania products. They had a good reputation and a quality product. Imagine my surprise when on September 4, 2010 my television died...no picture, no sound. I never expected to pay the price that I paid for this television and it only last for 18 months.

I contacted the service company and found a very nice person who wanted to help me but it seems that so many Sylvania televisions like mine with a different Model number were being repaired or replaced. It would be a while before they got to my Model number. DO NOT BUY SYLVANIA TELEVISIONS! THEY ARE NOT A QUALITY PRODUCT AND WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU FIX THE ISSUE.

Electronic Express bad service

EXTREMELY dissatisfied...placed/paid for order(Christmas (Xmas) gift) with guarenteed delivery prior to Xmas. Recieved delivery of cheaper/inferior product the day before Xmas. Called Electronic Express (EE) Customer Service (CS) and was instructed to ship it back for replacement with correct product. FedEx failed to pickup return package after 3 days. Brought package to FedEx store and was told that I would have to pay to have it shipped back, as EE FedEx shipping # was no good. Called EE CS again and was instucted again to leave it out for FedEx pickup again...this time FedEx did pick it up. I tracked the package back to EE 4 days later. Call EE CS back to get status of my original order and was told that it would be shipped tomorrow...this went on every other day for over 2 weeks and still no product! Finally I was told that the product that was in stock when I orginally ordered it was no longer in stock...after determining that EE had no suitable replace product in stock, I was told that I would be FULLY refunded. After calling EE CS every other day for another week, the price of the product was finally refunded but NOT the shipping charge. After calling EE CS every day for 4 more days I FINALLY got the shipping charge refunded.
