Caversham Preparatory School customer service

The school failed to educate my child. Throughout the process I felt there were highly questionable objectives of the school with a constant and detrimental amount of pressure on my child to achieve before being ready to do so. This resulted in various psychological issues for my child that we still with on a day to day basis. The school acted in an irresponsible and wreckless manner to its own ends. It simply just does not care about the well being of your child, only squeezing results to make the school appear good. In reality children all learn at different rates but end up catching up in the end but what they can't deal with is the psychological damage that this school does.

The school has serious issues that have not been dealt with.

Doing business with the school in anyway is a massive liability.

The contractual arrangements are highly questionable as is the manner in which the bursar conducts business. For your and your child's sanity do not engaged with this school, you both will be very disappointed.

Doing business with the school is a liability, they have little interest in what is best for your child only in the academic exploits from a very narrow learning experience and immorally lining their pockets with your hard earned money.

If you really love your children this is not a school you should be sending them to. If you really don't care, that's fine send them here but expect to over pay for the experience.

The contract is extremely poor and changed on the website, without notice which is actually illegal not that the bursar cares about what is legal or not, nor what is fair.

Expect to have loads of problems if decide to send your child to this school.

My child didn't enjoy this school, the school was failing in many respects. It isn't a place I see as providing an adequate level of care and education. Despite the school being the cause of most of the issues, there was still a big nasty surprise on leaving. The bursar is not fair and not someone a decent person would want to interact with.

Caversham Preparatory School Operating Iligally with no planning permision

As a Matter of fact and relating to public Records and documented Information of the Reading Planning committee relating to:

Innova Schools Limited Caversham Preparatory School, 16 Peppard Road, Caversham, Reading Berkshire England RG4 8JZ
Link to first failed attempt to obtain planning permission

http://planninghome.reading.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?previousCaseUprn=000310015001&previousCaseType=Property&previousKeyVal=M6C4IV00DT008&activeTab=summary&previousCaseNumber=M6C4IV00DT006&keyVal=M4IJDZMS5R000

Link to second failed attempt to obtain planning permission
http://planninghome.reading.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?previousCaseUprn=000310015001&previousCaseType=Property&previousKeyVal=M6C4IV00DT008&activeTab=summary&previousCaseNumber=M6C4IV00DT006&keyVal=MDW7FOMS08E00

Innova Schools Limited, who run the School applied for a “Certificate of lawfulness of an existing site as a School” on the 28th May 2012 after the Chairman of Innova Schools Limited, a Mr. Ian Lawson realized that his company had no permission to run the site as a school.

Ian Lawson of Innova Schools Limited had published a four year and one million pound expansion program on his School web site, only to find out the site never even had permission to run the site as a school, in the first place.

It is obvious that the sole director of Innova Schools Limited a Mr Ian Lawson entered into a contractual agreement back in 2008 and never used his due diligence to check the legalities of the entitlement for his company Innova Schools Limited to operate a School at the site.

Two refused applications by the Reading Planning Department make it clear that the company Innova Schools Limited have no formal planning to run the site as a School.

Reference Number was 12/00841/CLE and dated the 24th May 2012 as Public record and the application was then formally refused on the 28th May 2012

Ian Lawson the Chairman of Innova Schools Limited and also the Bursar of the School then made another application to the Reading Planning Department on the 22nd November 2012 for a “Certificate of lawfulness for existing use as D1” for the school.

This Reference number was 12/01799/CLE as lodged on the 22th November 2012 and this application is on public record on the Reading Planning department web site as of the 24th April 2013 as being also “Refused”.

Both applications by Ian Lawson of Innova Schools limited been refused and therefore Caversham Preparatory School has no legal authority to run the site as a school.

The questions that next have to be asked is what about the “Public liability” and the “Insurance liabilities” for the “Pupils, the Teachers and other Staff” operating from a site that has no formal Permission to run the site as a school and has had two planning applications refused.

Reading Borough Council actually reserve the right to place an enforcement notice on the School to close unless it is done voluntarily by the company Innova Schools Limited who are the responsible part, who signed the debentures.

Ian Lawson has advised that his underwriters of all his Insurance Policies are and have been with the Allianz Group and they have to, in the public interest be advised of the situation, and the legal position as to, if, the School retains all of its full Public Liability and Insurance Cover, even though the company Innova Schools Limited have no formal planning to run the site as a school.

It is most certain that in the event of any Incident that requires an Insurance Claim for possible personal Injury, if the Directors of Innova Schools Limited have not informed their Insurers of the two “Refused Planning Notices”, then .he in this case, Ian Lawson the Sole Director could possibly be held Criminally Responsible for neglect and defrauding an Insurance company.

This all a matter of public record and can be found on the Reading Planning Department web-site and posted for the public and the parents to examine.

This has been all very embarrassing for Ian Lawson the Chairman of Innova Schools Limited who has claimed to have run numerous high profile and successful businesses over the years.

Ian Lawson and the sole director and shareholder of Innova Schools Limited spoke to numerous of the parents of the pupils at the school in 2012 and blamed his team of lawyers on the mix up over the planning applications and said the Executors of the Company were resolving the situation and the 1 Million Pound building project would be back on track in Spring of 2013.

It materializes that the Company Innova School Limited has only one director and shareholder and the Company and the School has No Board of Directors, No Governors and No Executors and all the decisions are only made by one man Ian Lawson who is also the Bursar, who also oversees all the control of the financing.

Ian Lawson was obviously “Lying” to all of his Parents of the Pupils, who are the ultimate customers, who are paying Innova Schools Limited thousands of pounds per term to be told the truth and the facts, not obvious lies and deceptions.

The fact that the School never had Planning permission and has been refused twice is something the Company Innova Schools Limited and Ian Lawson should be advising all the parents and staff of, but has to date declined for obvious reasons.

Based on these facts and all the adverse publicity published on the Internet regarding the credibility and honesty of Ian Lawson and the numerous complaints from some of the parents who have “Removed their children from the school”, it was decided to further investigate the previous business activities of Ian Lawson, who was published in the local press as a “Highly successful businessman from Essex” when he first took over the “Caversham Preparatory School”.

It is a matter of public record and fact Ian Lawson has previously recorded at company’s house at least four previously failed businesses as can be identified as.

1. Radical Safety Products Limited of which was struck out and Dissolved
2. Lawson Eclipse Limited of which was struck out and Dissolved
3. Lawson Manufacturing Limited of which was struck out and Dissolved
4. Green Seal Products Limited of which was struck out and Dissolved

The last Dissolved Limited Company owned by Ian Lawson was in 2009 prior to the start up trading of his next new start up Company Innova Schools Limited.

It would appear to be a pattern of trade only Limited Liability Companies and Dissolve them as there are never any personal liabilities to worry about.

The latest of Ian Lawson’s companies Innova Schools Limited of which run the Caversham Preparatory School under the personal control of one director and shareholder “Only commenced trading in 2009”, the year the company took over the school and was a Non Trading entity prior to this date.

So when Ian Lawson was documented as a highly successful business in the local press in 2009, he has just dissolved at least four previous limited companies and had not even conducted his first year of trading of the new start up company Innova Schools Limited

It is also a matter of public record that the Company Innova Schools limited entered into a Mortgage debenture with H.S.B.C Bank on the 14th March 2009 to fund the project of the school of which remains outstanding as far as companies house report to date.

This Information is all based on actual fact and is only an overview of those facts, in order to inform the general pubic and anyone related to the Caversham Preparatory School of what they are entitled to be made aware of as the funding being retained by the company Innova Schools Limited is the Personal Deposits of all of the parents of the children who are enrolled in the Caversham Preparatory School.

If the company Innova Schools Limited is dissolved by the director of that company there is no recourse or refunds available as it is a Limited liability Company.

Any concerned parents should most certainly demand to see an up to date balance sheet to ensure their “Financial Investment” and deposit is actually where it should be and that is in the bank!

These are the facts to consider and all of the content can be found on the public Internet and any observations can be confirmed by obtaining legal advice.

We trust this public Information has been of assistance

Maybe Ian Lawson of Innova Schools Limited would be better fitted as a business prevention officer as he has certainly done his last failed 6-or 7 no favors!
He appears to do the hit and run mode of business mode and will certainly be looking for his next quick buck

Looks like this lan Lawson would most certainly be best fitted to beain the Lolly Pop man showing the kids accross the road
but in saying that, maybe not, he does not even appear bright enough for that post!
Stay at home and look after the cat maybe!

Unfortunately for similar reasons I can not recommend doing business with Mr Lawson or Caversham Preparatory School. I was mislead in dealings with the school and found at every turn they weren't that interested in educating my child but were extremely interested in the money. If you send you child to this school you are setting yourself up for a big liability in those two respects.

It looks like someone has a large issue with the bursar Mr Lawson at Caversham Preparatory School. While I do not understand the particulars of this case I can relate as the bursar is a very unfair person and not someone who a normal person would want to conduct business with, nor send their child to his school. I do believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt however a cheetah doesn't change his spot nor does it seems Mr Lawson. I would warn anyone engaging in any business dealings including enrolling their child at this school to be extremely careful, think again and basically don't do it. The contract is held on a website which he freely changes at will without informing those to which the contract is applicable with. You would think in this day an age people could be more trustworthy but sadly not. You have been warned.

Since then Mr Graver brought an action for copyright theft in which he alleged that I had stolen the idea and sold it to the inventor. Needless to say both his claims were stuck out by the Judge at Reading last December. I delivered two innovation competitions for Enfield council both of which were great successes.

From his conspicuous spelling errors this is a piece written by Mr N Graver. Mr Graver aka Johnstone or Aminson or Butterworth or Harris has nothing to do with the school. He is however the defendent in a UK High Court Case in which I am the witness against him. He chooses to use this Latvian based internet site to carry out Illegal and criminal harassment for which he has already been arrested by the UK Police and warned that if it happens again he will be charged. Mr Graver' arranged to produce a prototype of an invention that has been a prize winner in a London Innovation Competition and then promptly refused to deliver it and sold it himself as his invention in the far east. He has a judgment against him for £5000 which was the deposit the client paid for its manufacture however judge refused to limit the damages to £50000 sending the action to the High Court in London with a new damage limit of £1, 600, 000. As you can imagine Mr Graver is pretty upset that his scheme to take an idea from a prize winner and exploit it in a crooked manner has failed. His motives for the above complaints are obvious, are not in the public interest and are criminal.
As to our planning permissions the site has C2 planning permission as a school however we seek to give up this permsssion to gain D1 use so that development of the school can continue. Mr Graver's spin is incorrect as the legality of the school depends on Ofsted and the Department for Eductation with whom were were judged outstanding in 2008 and have been registered with, since 1994 respectively . The issue of planning use will be resolved. The school continues to provide the Early Years service as it has done since Reading Council has been able to contract with independent suppliers.

I have to agree the husband and wife team of the Lawson's one being the head and the other being the burser are a pair of psychopaths. Mrs trying to run the school in a backwards way to obtain the best results at the cost of your child for her own benefit. Mr trying to milk as much money from the parents as possible from this obviously failing enterprise. Best completely avoided.

I guess the facts speak for themselves if you buy a business that has no planning permission, then you are a fool!
I guess the facts speak for themselves, if you borrow as a morgage circa 250, 000 pound from H.S.B.C and have no planning permission to operate the site as a school.you are a fool!
If you then operate the school and are aware the Public Liability and Insurance is void, then you are a fool!
If you think you dan hood wink another council as you have before then you are a fool as most councils are all honest and above board and cannot be influenced by crooked business men!
If as it is documented the Caversham Preparatory School has no planning permission and has been refused twice by Reading Planning Department, then there is no option but to close the school at the next end of term and refund all the parents along with the substantial compensation they are deserve, based an the deception of the facts that have been conveyed to them by Ian Lawson the Bursar and sole director and shareholder of Innova Schools Limited.
Unless he goes bankrupt again and does a runner "again"

Just seen in the local press that the Caversham Preparatory school has just lost its last ditch attempt to get legal planning permission to operate the site as a school.
Looks like the idiot Ian Lawson running the company Innova Schools Limited obvously jas never run a succesfull business if he buys a school with no planning permission.
Guess he can always sell the old materials if he has to bull doze it all down.
Best he stick to being a shopkeeper or a Lolly Pop Man as business is obviously not his key skills.
