They are not committed to the education process. Non Communication and a total lack of commitment to any student requests and complaint has been made clear. I have outstanding RPL matters from 2014 and it has not been addressed. Its now 2021. Emails, Request for assistance, telephone calls and even message on FB has not been addressed. As another students that complained about the institution said "Best choice to study, bad choice of institution.

Various matter have been queried:
emails sent regarding RPL matters outstanding from 2014,
results,
what subjects must still be completed to finalise the qualification.

Countless emails sent to student support and even faculty members.

Total lack of commitment.
Matters relating to RPL, results and outstanding subjects are never answered. It is infuriating paying for a service and not being provided with it. I was granted RPL credits by one member of the faculty and upon enquiring if it was added to my record I was met with silence. That was also the case with other communications sent to the college.

And being asked to pay R150 to obtain your student record, while being a current student because you can not see your record on their so called student portal (both old and New) is infuriating. I understand this would be that case if you want a copy of your certificate as the practice at universities. But while being a student and paying study fees?
Requesting my student record was the last resort because to this day I do not know what I have obtained for which subject

Lyceum International School, Nugegoda, Sri Lanka is a well known school in Sri Lanka. However the teachers who teach there are ill treated and forced to work on weekends for sport meets, concerts, workshops and etc. After working 5 days per week.. Teachers only get the weekend to relief there stress, But now the weekend is more stressful because of the unethical decisions of management. There are more restrictions to professional freedom, and the educators find the school day overly rigid. Teachers have to to do morning duties, sport meet duties, concert duties and various things except teaching.. And all this for a less salary.. Really shameful.. It's very unethical to force teachers to work on weekends because they have more commitments other than the jobs.. This made a school environment and the job stressful for teachers and more and more teachers leave frequently.. And now the school don't give public holidays. Even if the children are absent teachers have to teach to desks and chairs.. Really disappointing..
