Fitzgerald Coaching - purchase 7500 of leads never received
I purchased 7500 in leads that I've never received. I purchased them February 2016 and was too busy to set up the lead process for over a year. They said whenever I was ready that was fine. Well I have had some catastrophic things happen between then and now but have been trying to contact this company for several months now with no answer. What do I did talk to a Brian in June who said he was working on my refund but have not heard a word back from him. Now every number I call say the line is no longer in service. I have a copy of the checks, emails and so forth that proves this to be true. Therefore I expect someone to call me back and refund my money immediately. I can be reached at970 669 1234 or [protected]@yahoo.com

All their phone numbers I had no longer work
No phone numbers are listed on any email response
I have requested a conference call with [protected]@fitzgeraldcoaching.com and said that my assistant sent the data in the wrong format, which is the format they told us to use... it's all a sham
They will never confirm receipt of information
The phone number I found for Megan 585-348-9362 on web
They took money, I have received 4 leads in 2 years, one of which was already on MLS!
I did my due diligence, called the agents that use their services, checked out the agents really did business... they must be getting a kickback!
lead generation
I've tried this service for a year.
I have gotten one qualified lead in that time. One meeting in a year. Oh, and I sell over $20 million in real estate each year so I'm not lazy or inexperienced.
I probably received 12 leads this past year where Bob's telemarketer would say the prospect is interested in meeting. They never set an appointment. I would call those leads back within an hour or two of them being sent and try and set up that appointment. No answer. So, I'd leave a message. And then I'd follow up. Nothing. I seriously doubt these people know who I am or what makes me different. I suspect the telemarketer asked if they would take a call from a realtor and they said yes just to get him off the phone. In a year 11 of the 12 were unqualified. In one year there was one face to face meeting with a guy who had no intention of hiring a realtor.
Once Bob Fitzgerald got my money I never heard from him again. He assigned me to Meghan Miller but she doesn't return calls either. She emails. And, now she doesn't even do that. So, if this was a "Coaching" contract I didn't receive any coaching.
I would join the rest of you in a lawsuit If that's what it would take to stop Bob Fitzgerald from scamming other top realtors. We need to break the cycle.
prospecting
100% scam and frauds! Took $5k for 10 guaranteed transactions, they sent me 3 leads which were bad to say the least as some were other brokers that had the property listed and then suddenly stopped communications. Their ye numbers are disconnected their employees emails bounced back and there is no way to even attempt to get a refund. Will need to sue but what the point of sueing or going after scam and con guys who operate a defunct company

listing lead generation
I would like to share our experience w/ Fitzgerald Coaching. We are a top producing team in the largest city is Iowa and have been in the top 3% of all of the realtors in our area for the last 6 years. Our experience has been a disappointing and frustrating one and a waste of money.
Our goal in contracting with Fitzgerald was to grow our listing business. We spent a lot of time researching them before we contracted w/ them. We even interviewed a few realtors they provided that were happy w/ Fitzgerald's services. We had seen some bad reviews online and they talked us through why they were not accurate.
After partnering w/ them for approximately 9 months, we realized that this was a waste of our time and money. They were providing a few leads, but the leads were either fsbo w/ no intent to list or had a relative, friend who was a realtor, etc. and just agreed to the listing appointment in thinking we had a buyer for their home. I was told that on almost every occasion and the sellers had been very mislead by Fitzgerald, as to the purpose of our appointment.
At that time, I then reached out to both staff and Bob direct with 10 emails requesting a response or time to talk through my dissatisfaction of the program, with absolutely no response. When I called, I would get voicemails or I was told that someone would have to call me back. I never received a return phone call.
In summary, I would not recommend this program to anyone. They did not produce what they had promised and what we paid for. Furthermore they did not even communicate w/ us to discuss my dissatisfaction. Hopefully this helps others researching if this is a good option for themselves.
seller lead generation
Nothing but lies and promises. Bob promises 10 listings in 180 days. He is suppose to generate appointments by calling FSBO and Expires but he doesn't make the calls. They charge you $5, 000 up front and a 20% referral fee. This sounds great. It has now been over 9 months and I have yet to take a single listing. The service is a complete scam. Google Bob's name and you will find other postings of complaints from previous business scam's he has run on people. Emails to contact his organization are non-deliverable. A VERY BIG SCAM KEEP YOUR MONEY!
real estate program-prospecting
I was promised a guaranteed contract to receive listing appointments. They called endlessly for weeks. I did over-night them my $5, 000 as instructed.
I did not do my research online before paying for the Bob Fitzgerald program. I did call the agents the company suggested, of course they said nice things. I should have gone to the web first. I would have seen how many complaints were posted and knew something was not right.
Their contract does not mean anything, they do not abide by it. I did not even start the program, just had questions that were not being answered, and when I left a message asking if the program was a scam, received nasty text in the most unprofessional manner.
I was a Social Worker and transitioned to Real estate. I have always had a heart for helping, not for making money at any costs. Ethics and integrity are important. I do not want to be affiliated with a company that behaves in such a crass manner.
I wish I had known before I wasted my money, but I want to warn others to be careful. This program does not follow its contract and was extremely unprofessional.
Bob's text to me when I stated I was not aware I had to pay an additional $800.00, was, "there is zero chance I'm giving you a refund". I did not pay $5, 000 to be treated this way. Common courtesy and a conversation is all I was looking for, but neither of those occurred.
Be careful. I would advise against becoming involved with a company who does not want to answer questions and does not stand behind the contract you sign with them.
told me they would lead generate for $5,000. for 10 listings its been a year -0-
I was pressured by the sales agent from Fitzgerald coaching. I was dealing with an family emergency when my brother was hospitalized over a year ago dying. The agent from FC called and I told her it was bad timing and she was pressuring me that the spot was only open or it would be gone. She promised how they will get you 10 listings for $5, 000.00 and 20% referral fee. I said I wanted to speak to agents that have used them. They gave me names of agents whom I called. They all raved about how great they were. The FC agent called again the next day and under extreme pressure I had to send a $5, 000 cashiers check to them overnight. They did not full fill any of the things they promised. I was sending in the contacts and did not get anything. I reached out to Cheri Washburn the CEO and she started giving me clients, one to two a month. They were not qualified, and nothing ever came out of the leads. Most thought I had a buyer for them and did not understand I was going on a listing appointment. Some were already listed with another agent. I called and email numerous times and wanted a refund. They would not refund my money at all. It was the biggest rip off losing the $5, 000.00 Please do not ever sign up with them. They are the biggest con artists in the real estate market. If you see their name or get a call RUN. I am sickened to lose this money. They should be shut down.
bob fitzgerald coaching is a scam~!
REALTORS BEWARE! I wish I had read the reviews prior to sending them 5K from all the other agents that were scammed out of their money. If this company spent half the energy they spend getting our money on actually doing what they promise the program may work but its a fraud. You can't ever reach anyone by phone and the staff continues to make excuses for not sending any pre-qualified leads in areas that we send them lists on monthly. From the previous posts this seems to be a common theme.
prospecting
I too am a top agent who got suckered in on this prospecting program. I still send my Expired and FSBO listings twice a month but haven't heard from them for a year, and the leads I received at the beginning were a mix of crap...either not in my zips, land vs residential, and FSBOs who told me they told the Fitzgerald prospector NOT to have me call them. DO NOT BUY INTO THIS SCAM!
they promised services and never delivered after I paid them $5,000.00
Received initial phone call from salesperson in mid February 2016.
They promised a list of services and gave me references of current clients names/contact numbers. After I followed up with all the clients, I agreed to sign a contract and sent them a check for $5, 000.00.
When I hadn't heard anything further after I noticed my check had been cashed, I followed up with them.
It was then that they dropped the bomb that in order for me to implement the services, it would cost me significantly more, as they sub contracted out with another vendor, who required more money to get the program started. (Typical bait/switch)
I immediately asked to cancel and have my money returned. They have refused and even after sending Bob Fitzgerald a lengthy email, (extremely professional in nature) I have yet to receive any response.
I will also note, his sales people constantly referenced my company, Keller Williams, whom they claim to affiliate with. This was how they initially got my attention.
real estate listing service
As a top producing Realtor, I was approached by Fitzgerald Coaching in August 2015. They promised hundreds of leads for listing homes in my area. I verified with the agents they referred to me and bought into the program. My contract stated that if, after 6 months, it did not work for me, I would get a pro rated refund. From the start, it was obvious to me that this system did not work in my area. It was not what was sold to me- there is no coaching, there is no legitimate leads of ANY sort. So in December, 2015, I emailed the 2 people I had been dealing with @ the company and asked to discuss my issues. It took several emails and calls and 2 weeks to get a response from them. I was told to contact Bob Fitzgerald directly. HAH! they really passed the buck! I emailed him and tried to call. He has not had the courtesy to return any of my emails or calls since December. I am sure I have been scammed out of my entire investment of $5000. I am going to the board of Realtors in Pittsford NY. I cannot afford to lose all of this money and time invested in trying to get the system to work.
rude sales people
[protected] I received a phone call from Bob Fitzgerald Coaching wanting me to sign up to have them prospect on my behalf. The first sales person I spoke with was nice and explained the program to me. I was told to think about it and get back in contact.
[protected] I received a voice message from the sales manager stating that he wanted to talk with me. I called back and left a voice message stating that I had given it some thought and was not interested.
[protected] I received a call from the sales manager and he asked why I was not interested. I told him that I had given it some thought and just felt it wasn't the right thing to do at this time. He would not take no for an answer and kept asking me what the problem was. I told him I had just decided to not spend the money and I was sure some other agent would be willing to work with them. After telling him my answer was no for about the 4th time, he hung up on me. What a bully.
If this is the way they treat people, I would not sign up with them in a million years even if they paid me. I do not work with rude people. If they think that is the way you get people to listen to them, they are mistaken, at least with me. I tried calling their main phone number to express my feelings and I could not get a hold of a live person. Luckily I did not spend any money. I don't have a resolution of my complaint other than to make sure other people know how you can be treated.
prospecting, guaranteed 12 -16 listing appointments per month. scam!
I was called (hounded daily/weekly) by a sales lady from Fitzgerald Coaching who promised me 12 to 16 actual appointments per month if I paid $4500 ($1500 per month) up front and a 20% referral fee per closed deal. I also had to pay for a monthly service that gathered all of the FSBO and expired listing info to send to them to make the calls. I have not received one appointment and they won't answer my calls or emails at all. It is clearly a scam and I have been duped. Do not use them!
prospecting leads/appointments
I received a phone call today from a man named Pat and when I explained I was not interested, he started shooting off questions and bullying me. He didn't let me respond to him but kept shooting off insulting questions. He finally said "I will call you tomorrow" as in a threatening tone and immediately hung up. I wasn't able to ask him to put me on his "do not call list" which, by the way, I am on.
Please look up other reviews on this company. I am sure this isn't what Bob Fitzgerald had intended his name to become as a Realtor. I cannot believe that he would want his name to be associated with bullying tactics of this company.
these guys are obnoxious
This guys calls me to pitch me setting appointments for me. I told him politely I am not interested he proceeds into his pitch, no harm no foul. Then I asked him to remove me that I would not be interested in hearing from him again, then he says hey I will be calling you. I said is that so and he says yeah. I guess he's an not aware because I just blocked his call. However the approach these guys have is so obnoxious I couldn't believe they would hire guys like this.
telemarketer complaint
The telemarketer, Pat, from the Bob Fitzgerald Coaching company, called me twice. The first time I let him know that I work by referral and although I appreciated his call, I am not interested in the services he was offering, and to please take me off of their list. He called back on another day and would not take "no, thank you" for an answer. I asked him to remove me from their list, and he said, "not until you sign up or retire" and hung up on me. I tried calling him back to resolve the issue/speak to his supervisor, etc...and he kept hung up on me.
This is the phone number: [protected],
I found several complaints by other agents, including one on the Active Rain website which stated that the Bob Fitzgerald telemarketer also said, "not until you sign up or retire".
I encourage my Realtor colleagues to avoid taking calls from the above phone number.
They're still at it, I have learned. Patrick contacted me and strung me through a 1 hour Mike Ferry style dialog. However, Patrick is no Mike Ferry! Mike would have qualified his prospect up front to avoid wasting time. This guy waited until the very end to tell me their service - which does what any agent could and should do on their own, within reason and time constraints - cost's $5, 000. REally? No thanks. Then he had his "manager" call me a few days later, whom I told no thank you, I have my marketing budget in place and don't want their service. THEN Patrick calls me back this morning and verbally has a nasty-mouth disease trying to browbeat me into staying on the line. So I hang up (who wouldn't?). THEN he has the nerve to call me back and leave an equally nasty message on my phone saying even if I signed up, he'd NEVER give a referral to an agent that hung up on him! And why didn't I want to discuss my marketing budget in detail with him, he can tell me how to afford their useless service... The nerve. I thought these hard-sell tactics were a thing of the past. No wonder Mike Ferry fired these guys!
ripoff scam
Bob Fitzgerald and his company is a total waste of money. They do the sale pitch very well and even have 3 agents from Keller Williams swear by the service that they have received. They will call DNC which is a huge problem in a major city, their tactics are fraudulent. Please don't use them, call me an I will give you the details of my experience. When it...

They prospected me hard to land my business and collect my $3000. They gave me a break from the $5000 the originally wanted. No wonder they don't take credit cards, they would lose the refund battle for sure. I thought I had negotiated well and that their perserverance would pay off when generating leads for me. I even checked 3 references, obviously all fixed. I supplied them with hundreds of prospects that they were suppose to call and generate appointments. The first month I NEVER heard from them, supposedly a clerical error. Over 9 months I received 9 "leads", most who said they told the callers they had NO interest. Some contacts were out of the parameters we contract for. I diligently sent them my bi-weekly list week after week with NOTHING in return. What a waste of time and money - 9 months later I may have torn up $100 BILLS and thrown them out the window. Total rip off

Thanks for the heads up. I was minutes aware from mailing a check when I saw this review.

harrassing
Bob Fitzgerald Coaching is a scam that generates business by harrassing top real estate agents until they finally give in an try the scam Bob Fitzgerald Coaching service. Of course, any company that operates this way does not deliver in its promises, and only makes money off of the initial $5, 000 deposit. They do not answer their phone, but only make...

As a realtor, I am constantly trying to find ways to better my business. When I heard that Bob Fitzgerald coaching would call leads and set appointments on my behalf, at times when I was unable to be making calls myself, it sounded like a perfect opportunity. They charged an up-front $5000 investment as well as a 20% referral fee should I receive a listing from their services. With their claims to set appointments and create clients for me, it was sure to be a worthwhile investment.
Unfortunately, nothing could be further from the truth. After working with Bob Fitzgerald coaching for the past 8 months, they have not given me one good lead. They work off of the same call lists as I do for lead prospecting. I have been able to set 32 appointments with my limited time available to make calls. They have set only one, which turned out to be a bad lead anyway.
Initially, when I started working with Bob Fitzgerald, they informed me of their policies as to when to send in our lead lists—the lists they use to make calls. I asked if I could send in lists more often than their suggested due dates. After receiving permission, I started sending in pre-scrubbed lists once a week—every Tuesday for 8 months.
I contacted Bob Fitzgerald coaching 8 months later to find out how often they were calling my leads and asking if I could see a log of the calls they had been making. Rather than addressing my concerns, Bob Fitzgerald coaching put the blame on me for not sending my lists in at the appropriate times. As stated above, I had been sending in lists once a week, with express permission from Bob Fitzgerald coaching, for the previous 8 months.
Needless to say, my frustrations and disappointments with the Bob Fitzgerald Coaching program are too large to express in words. A $5000 investment has become nothing more than a headache and a waste of time for me and my staff.

I don't believe this is a real agent. If it is she is the only one who got a lead from this company. There are too many complaints against this Man and his company of grifters. LISTEN TO ME not someone trying to rip you off for $5000. My advice is free. Steer clear of Bob the boob and his band of thieves. They provide no service for your money and send you KW copyrighted materials. You may see a few compliments about this company just know for every one good review of this company there are 50 bad reviews. I'm trying to save you money even though I couldn't save my own. Just DON'T use Fitzgerald Coaching! Try anything else but them.
Our team has been using your service for about 18 months now. We have been sending in countless numbers of for sale by owners and expireds. My assistant is seriously ill and she just sent them in this week. We have had one transaction that has closed from one of your so called leads. In 2015 we have had one expired in our zip code areas that we contacted 22 times after we received from you and they re-listed with the broker they had We were also given 3 other numbers to call...two were outside of Cincinnati (we are in Columbus) and the other was in the inner city which we do not have in our zip code list. Before I signed up your company gave me several names of agents to call and they said they were getting good leads. I would like you to give me a list of agents whom I can call (who are not being coerced) and I will check more thoroughly into their production. I have told anyone in our company who asks to be wary of your company and I am ready to contact the Better Business Bureau of which we are members. I have just finished reading all the bad reviews on the internet and cannot believe you are still in business. Nancy Poss Keller Williams Capital Partners Realty nancyposs@kw.com [protected]
Over 300 Clients and TWO SIDES TO EVERY STORY!
FACT: Prospecting isn’t new… nor is it complicated!
FACT: We have hundreds of clients that love the service that we provide. Clients that love the tens of thousands of dollars that they’ve made working with us! Anyone who is interested in our service can talk to as many of these references as they need to so they don’t lose out on taking listing after listings simply because a handful of agents out of hundreds choose to tell their one sided story on sites like this.
FACT: As I type this, we have over 300 agents in our prospecting schedule and by comparison we have had very, very few complaints.
FACT: In today’s day and age, most companies have people that complain on web sites like this. The only reason I took the time to reply was so that a handful of people with a single sided story can’t rob you of what others have called the single best investment they’ve ever made.
FACT: YOU ARE SMART! Simply read my reply and ask yourself… Does what I wrote make sense? This is my side of the story.
MY REPLY is very simple. Just think for a moment about what we do. We Call. We are telemarketers “calling” for sale by owners and expired listings. Prospecting isn’t complicated at all. If you’d like to see what our prospecting looks like watch this video…
http://fitzgerald-coaching-prospecting.blogspot.com/http://fitzgerald-coaching-prospecting.blogspot.com/
If you hired a telemarketer to work form your office, what would they do? What would you do? You would give them a list of people to call… they would call and set appointments and you’d make the presentation, handle the seller’s objections and get the listing. Right? Prospecting isn’t complicated.
So why do some agents that have a problem with this? We have set thousands of appointments for real estate agents there are four mistakes that agents make which end up causing them complain on sites like this. Decide for yourself who is at fault.
We do not want our telemarketers to be the real estate “expert.” That is the job of the agent. Our telemarketers do not discuss the current market conditions with a seller. Our telemarkters do not discuss home prices with a seller. Our telemarkters do not handle seller’s objections or answers a seller’s questions about the home selling process. We let the agent be the agent and we simply make the appointment.
This is an actual example of a typical appointment that was sent to one of our clients… then listed and then sold!
1. WHEN THE HOME SELLS, WHERE WILL YOU BE GOING?
Nana is already moved into her new home. She married her husband in August and they decided that he had the larger home, so they would move into his. Her home is now vacant, and she moved about a mile away.
2. IS YOUR HOME CURRENTLY LISTED WITH A REAL ESTATE AGENT? No. The listing expired at the end of February, and Nana was very unhappy with the results from her realtor. She thought about leaving the home off of the market, but decided against that because she is extremely motivated to sell.
3. HOW SOON WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE THERE?
Nana is already in her new home, and she wants this home sold as soon as possible.
4. DO YOU HAVE AN ASKING PRICE IN MIND?
$307, 900. She would like advice on her asking price though. She told me that she thinks she may have been overpriced because her agent started her at $316, 000. She wants to make sure she is priced where she should be to get the home sold.
5. HOW MUCH DO YOU OWE ON THE PROPERTY?
As of October, Nana still owed $171, 000. She has still been making payments on the home, so it is less than that now.
6. WHAT WILL YOU DO IF THE HOME DOESN’T SELL?
She hasn't even thought about that option. Right now, she really just wants to get the home sold and be free from it.
7. ARE YOU INTERVIEWING ANY OTHER AGENTS? Not at the moment. Jeremy will be the first since her listing expired.
8. IF WHAT (AGENT) SAYS MAKES SENSE… ARE YOU PLANNING TO LIST THE HOME?
Yes. She is extremely motivated to get this home sold, so if she thinks that Jeremy will be more productive for her than her last agent, she will definitely re-list with them.
Again, prospecting isn’t new nor is it complicated. The four most common mistakes that an agent will make using our service are…
1. The agent is too BUSY to actually do what it takes to follow up with a seller and convert the listing. Expired listings and for sale by owners are being called by a lot of great agents every day. It is very competitive and our telemarketers have had to stand out just to get the appointment for our clients. We IMMEDIATELY send the appointment to the agent but if that agent doesn’t follow up right away and confirm the appointment… what do you think happens next? If the agent doesn’t call back for days or in many cases even weeks then the seller doesn’t even remember that we ever called or loses interest and cancels the appointment. Without diligent follow up… generating that appointment was a waste of time. This is a challenge for some of our highest producers. They may earn six and even seven figures selling real estate but if they are too busy to follow up with our appointments then they are not going to get listings. Most of our agents will follow up right away, solidify the appointment and take the listings.
2. The second challenge that can be a problem with some of the higher producers is that they are already “buying leads” from so many other sources. Some have hundreds of leads from in their systems form lead generation services, web sites and services, marketing services, mailing services, call capture services… etc. The bottom line is that those top agents have so many leads that they don’t value nor follow up diligently with the expired listings and FSBO appointments that we set for them. In most cases this type of agent couldn’t even provide any feedback on an appointments that we set for them because they NEVER even looked at the e-mail with the appointment to begin with.. I don’t have a problem with an agent having far more leads than they can handle but unlike these other sources of leads, my team may have spent 3 to 4 hours and invested hundreds of dials to finally set that appointment. If they are too busy to open their e-mail or follow up with the seller to confirm the appointment then they aren’t going to like that I hold them accountable for not doing their job. This is a partnership and they aren’t holding up their end of the bargain. Most of are clients understand that it takes a lot of hours, dials and contacts to set these appointments and the value them as such and take listings.
3. The most common problem that I’ve seen after setting thousands of appointments for real estate agents is that some simply don’t have the skill it takes to convert a prospecting based lead. The first question that we ask every potential client is have they worked with expired listings and for sale by owners in the past? They are not “come list me” referrals. It is not difficult to handle basic objections about the seller’s price expectations or the fact that the seller may have a friend in the business but an agent doesn’t want to hear that other agents are listing the same type of appointments day in and day out. It is easier to simply “trash” our appointments because the seller had some basic objections rather then educate the sellers and take listings. I’ve spent more than a decade coaching agents and the bottom line is that if they can’t help a seller see the benefit of listing with them then they are going to have to stick with working with buyers. There was an agent that posted that we sent him 52 appointments and he didn’t take a listing so the program is a scam. Never once did it cross his mind that he only helped prove my point. We can set the appointments but we can’t take the listings. Most agents in our program would have listed at least a dozen of the exact same appointments. Again, only a handful of the hundreds of clients we are prospecting for complain at all.
4. Finally, how about common sense! If you hire a telemarketer you’ll need to provide them with phone numbers... If you don’t want an appointment in a particular area, don’t put that seller on your list… If you want to be in the call schedule this week, make sure we have your numbers in time… We work on referrals so you will have to communicate when you take listings or we will stop calling until you do…
When an agent writes a post that says they only received a few appointments… they never tell you that they haven’t sent in their prospect list in months and ignored every attempt to get feedback on any listings they have taken. There is ALWAYS more to the story.
Imagine a site like this for your sellers. The seller wants way more for the home than it is worth… they refused all the advice you gave them about the market and price reductions but they still went online to complain that you didn’t do anything to sell their house and that people should beware of listings with you. You’d simply direct them to sellers who took your advice and were thrilled with your service! If you are still unsure about our service, e-mail me and I’ll arrange for you to talk to as many agents as it takes to see that they are making thousands and thousands of dollars with us and so can you!
