American Furniture Galleries Paid for new living room set and received display set!

I was very specific when making the purchase that furniture will come in boxes? The sales person with his manager both confirmed. Furniture arrived at my house as promised a week later. It was all assembled and no boxes just wrapped in plastic. I asked the delivery guy if this was new? He said he is sure it’s. A long story short the person who sold me the furniture called and admitted that it was an innocent mistake. And that a different buyer of a second set “by mistake” got the new set. Now Jessie the sales person promised to switch to a new set on Monday. I feel he is not being honest as ihis explanation sounds very sketchy. Today is Saturday and I hope that I am wrong and a new set will arrive on Monday. Will wait and see before filing an actual complaint. Because at first they denied that it was the display set until I surprised Jessie that I had placed marks on the set when I was making the purchase! That is a very good way to catch the con artist. Mark the display set in places that you only know about!

Desired outcome: I feel that they are just dragging and I want to document this and also make others aware of this dishonesty!! Mark the display do you can have proof because they will try to deny it.

American signature furniture sucks!!! 1) the delivery drivers broke my table while loading the truck had to wait 2 weeks for the table to come in. 2) I ordered 7 piece with 3 power recliners. They delivered 2 power recliners and one manual recliner. Called in had to wait 2 months for the power recliner to come in. Returned the furniture before 2months. 3...

American Furniture Galleries furniture

So everything happened 5 years ago, I was going through old receipts at home and ran into American furniture receipt that I purchased a bed one nightstand and chest and below I saw that they also charged me for Simmons of diva and loves eat for $595 I never paid attantion at that time but looking at that now they sold me something that I never bought, I will be contacting a head manager of that store to figure that out even though it was 5 years ago I still have the right to dispute wrongful and unlawful charge !

American Furniture Galleries used, old furniture instead of NEW

AMERICAN FURNITURE GALLERY IN SACRAMENTO IS A BAD NEWS-THEY GIVE YOU USED FURNITURE AND CHARGE YOU COST FOR NEW-THEIR DELIVERY SUCKS-GIVE YOU SOMETHING TOTALLY DIFFERENT WHAT YOU ORDERED-CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WORST-WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR OUR NEW FURNITURE AFTER 4 MONTHS, AND THEY DON'T WANT TO RETURN THE OLD USED FURNITURE SOLD TO US IN THE NAME OF NEW FURNITURE.

THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF BEFORE YOU KNOW IT.

I STRONGLY agree. Take a look at my photos. This, I was told when purchasing an 8 pc. sectional in April 2010 that it was the "BEST" of their products. This is what it looked like 3 months after the purchase. All AFG did was told me lies and never did anything to correct the problem. AFG prolonged the problem giving me the run around for months. Told the BBB they would replace the cushions to "CUSTOMER SATISFACTION" because I had a "year automatic warranty" . I paid $3024.00 for this mess. (I added extra cushions). The cushions are sagged out and are unravelling. The vinyl has discolored. I made complaints with the Department of Consumer Affairs and the BBB. I called and spoke with both Channels 3 and 13. AFG lied to them too. AFG said the "down" is what sags the cushions. So I requested to take the down out! Down-what you say!? Still don't know. Took AFG to court on April 1, 2011 the judge ruled AFG owes me NOTHING! Yeah, Robbed and I feel he helped them to do it completely because his ruling was FINAL! Sad thing is AFG did not dispute my testimony and really didn't have much to say in court. DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY WITH THESE CROOKS. THEY DO NOT SELL THE AMERICAN DREAM THEY SELL LOW QUALITY FURNISHINGS AT HIGH PRICES. SELL NIGHTMARES is what they sell. This happened at the Sacramento store on 8001 E. Stockton Blvd. Complaint with the BBB is public knowledge. Look it up and see the lies written by AFG for Yourself! Again, DO NOT SHOP AT AMERICAN FURNITURE GALLERIES

After 1 1/2 months and 3 deliveries of damaged furniture, I asked for my money back. The manager told me that i was being picky and that he would not refund the full amount to me, that he would take several hundred dollars, for a re-stocking fee, even though they could not deliver undamaged furniture.

Paid $6500 upfront on March 16, 2008 for an Ashley bedroom suite - sleigh bed with underbed drawers, armoire, dresser, 2 nightstands, vanity w/stool - with a delivery date between 3-4 weeks. At week number NINE (9) May 18, 2008, still no furniture except for the bed headboard & footboard. We called last week to have them come pick up the HB/FB and refund...
