This company is okay if your heat pumps work, but if they don't, they'll keep trying to fix them
This company is okay if your heat pumps work, but if they don't, they'll keep trying to fix them. Their warranty only covers parts, not labour. We had a $30,000 heat pump installed, but from the first night, the main bedrooms weren't getting any heat. We called them, but nothing changed. We called two more times, they came and looked, changed the thermostat, but nothing changed. Then the first summer came, and parts inside the external system no longer worked, so we went the entire summer with no AC waiting for parts to be installed, and we had to pay $400 in labour. The second summer came, and the parts blew again, and we waited all summer for the new parts to get installed and had to pay $600 in labour. The third summer came, and again parts blew when we turned on the AC. This time parts were replaced, but the bill was $1557. These parts lasted TWO WHOLE DAYS and blew again. They finally ordered a new external system under warranty, but we had to pay labour, which was another $400 plus dollars. I wasn't paying for the $1557 bill due to the parts they installed lasting 2 days, but now they have me in collections. I offered $400 to cover the technicians' 5 hours of labour, but they refused. I called the company to get invoices for all the calls we placed and work they did, but they didn't have them because they changed systems!
