MK Cleaning Service - Cleaning company theft
MK Cleaning Service stole from my home. They refuse to properly reimburse me for the items that they stole, even though they claim that they have insurance and they are bonded. They also claim that their cleaners are background checked... yet they steal from their clients. Another acquaintance has them on video discussing stealing money. Beware with this company!

On 1/24/2023, I brought my queen size down comforter to his establishment (Charlottesville VA) to be dry cleaned. They did not do that. They washed it, used fabric softener and ruined the comforter. The original fabric was crisp cotton and now is a limp version. The comforter lost over 1/2 of it's fill. It is ruined. They claim it did not have a tag but there is a tag on it that says "dry Clean only".

This business has a habit of not returning cleaning or laundry on date they put on receipt. Even if they are at fault, will not try to discount or refund for a service they did not fulfill in time negotiated. Told me that the coupons they sell don't actually cover doing any work, they always need more money to do actual work. They are very good at lying!
