Citroen is without a doubt the worst vehicle I have ever bought. I bought a pre-owned Citroen DS3, in warranty, just over a year ago, and the car has been more at the dealer, than it has been with me, due to a long list of MANUFACTURING defects. These cars are worth nothing and very poorly built. I have had most of my engine replaced, along with a LONG list of other repairs. Citroen Customer Care have no idea what they are doing, they don't communicate at a dealer level, and don't "grant" (as they put it) their Customers any decent feedback, hell they barely come back to you with YOU chasing THEM. They just blindly replace parts, and now want to replace my entire engine, without correctly identifying or explaining faults. I would strongly recommend anyone not to buy a Citroen as the build quality and after sales service is shocking, on a car that will become worth next to nothing almost immediately after you buy it.

my citroen c5 2012 is at ezz el arab service center now because the motor suddenly over heated in my way back from work for a reason i don't know and had to stop in the middle of the high way which was risking my life, although i do all of the required services on time at your end (the last one was 80km and now 84km) they told me that they want to change the whole engine which costs around usd 10k, and i don't think I'm supposed to pay for that as they they should've checked the oil and water circulation in every service was done. and they previously told me so when i was doing the 60km service and after debating to change the engine they told me that they will repaire the car without the said solution (now i don't even trust if they fixed it properly the first time)
i urgently need your involvement and feedback i also want to know the escalation matrix ans SLA to reply because now my car is held at your end and i don't have another car which is a lot of trouble already.
I trust you with my complaint handling and thanks for your time.

Hi I'm driving a Citroen C4 1.6 thp, exclusive I'm experiencing the same problem as you guys are experiencing, I think some of Citroen cars are faulty, there are some parts in my car that are replaced by Citroen frans campaign, they say those parts are faulty, ryt not my car spend more time at the dealer than with me. It's either timing chine or turbo or not starting it's loosing power. Citroen manufacturer please help us with this cars. Be proud of you products and fix this problem. I feel like I don't have a car anymore.

Hi Citroën Management,

I have Citroen Xsara 2001 manual. four weeks a go it was no starting, and after checking the battery, I found that the problem with the dynamo. I charged the battery and took it to the Citroen agency in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. after two or three days they called me that everything in the car is ok, it needs only new dynamo. I told them ok please install new dynamo and I'll pay. after tens of follow up and phone calls they told me that the car electricity became crazy, and the right signal light is always working and left one is not working. I told them you created this problem because it was not there when you receive the car from me. they told me that we are unable to find the root cause of the problem and can not resolve it, and advised me to repair it outside. till now after one month the car still not running and the problem that they created still there and no one can resolve it. I can not believe how a big and international company like Citroen deal with their customer with this very very low level of quality. this Riyadh agency is horrible in everything, communications, professionality, experience ...etc. they do not want to work. they are very lazy, just imagine that they took around two weeks to replace that dynamo and create another problem.
as a customer I am vey disappointed and I am expecting immediate corrective actions.

hello, I am also experiencing the same problem with my DS3 sport. Its been 2 months that I have had it and its been one problem to the next. I made a very bad choice by choosing this car. From the 2 months that I've had it, I have only driven it for 3 weeks. I cannot begin counting the problem I have had with this car and the second hand dealership that sold this car to me. They have made my life hell with all their lies and deceit and the sad part is they are also giving Citroen a bad name. This is my second car and the worst I ever owned. I hate the Citroen DS3 and I'm currently experiencing problems with trading it in as no dealership wants it. How do I get rid off this mistake?

Hi, I'm experiencing exactly the same with my DS4. I'm bringing the car in for the 11th time at the dealer as they are unable to repair it. The engine malfunction light keeps on popping up. They replaced the thermostat, a wire in the ABS, the battery, they cleaned some pipes, replaced the fuel injectors in the engine and the light is still. This has been going on now since the end of July. And service from the dealer? Most of the times I had to arrange my own transport. Calling back promises are not being kept. I have to chase them all the time. The car is still under warranty and now they want me to pay up 50% of the costs? They are absolutely mad. I would not recommend a Citroen to anyone.
