Sliding door on my 2016 Dodge SXT Flex Fuel minivan
First of all, I'd like to say that Chrysler's program to compensate people like me, who fall under their guidelines relating to this problem is a scam! My passenger side sliding door locked up, and couldn't be opened. It was like it was welded shut. I of course thought this was very dangerous, because in an accident, people could be trapped inside, and could lose their lives. I had it repaired the first of July 2021, at a cost of $838 at a local mechanic. Later I received the letter from Chrysler, that they were extending the warranty for the sliding doors, that would cover my 2016 SXT Flex Fuel Van. Sounded good, and I filled out their form, submitted it, and according to the letter from Chrysler, it would be acted on within 60 days of the letter being received by Chrysler. That was the first of three identical letters I sent to Chrysler, and never received a response on any of the three. The third letter, let them know that I would soon turn 83, and it would be nice to get an answer before my time on this earth was up. Still no answer. It's been over a year now, so it shouldn't be hard to figure out why I think this is a scam. Do I really think this letter is going to change anything, no I don't, but at least I tried. Rip-off/dishonest service department
Horrible experience! My car would not start, so I had it towed to the dealership. They told me it would first require a 2 hour diagnostic that would cost me over $400. I didn't know otherwise so i said yes. They called me 4 hours later and told me that i needed 2 batteries for $989 and then a throttle body and emission service for an additional $658. I told them that they serviced my car in December and already had that service done and they claimed i needed it again. What a scam and rip off. I went to get my car, they would only release it until after i paid the diagnostic fee and now i am out $478 and got ZERO for my experience! I am never going to this dealer again and i would recommend that everyone else STAY FAR AWAY! They will only take you money and not provide you with any worthwhile service! I found a battery for under $200 and car is now working just fine!
Attempt to resolve issue without legal actionI
Please let me state that I've attempted to resolve this issue with several Customer Service Representatives, but thus far I have been unable to contact anyone in a higher level. "Complaint" On January 12, 2008 I purchased a new Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 vin #1D7HU18N18J167122 , which now has less than 30,000 miles on the odometer from Carmean Dodge in Shingle Springs California. On January 29, 2010 the Sacramento Bee newspaper published an article "El Dorado County Car Dealer, Associate Busted After 18 month Probe". Segments of the article "Investigators have arrested a former El Dorado County car dealer and his general manager today on suspicion of grand theft, embesslement and money laundering, and DMV said the investigation revealed that Carmean Dodge defrauded Chrysler Financial of $6.1 million in new-car inventory and $750,000 in used-car inventory. Also, a DMV news release stated that 92 transaction between May and July 2008 had possible violations, including failure to transfer title and registration, failure to return down payment and failure to pay for warranties, extended service contracts and gap insurance policies. Carmean and Catalano are being held without bail in Dl Dorado County Jail. During the purchase of my new vehicle, I was offered a "lifetime warranty", nothing was mention in regards to oblegations. On 1/24/22 I had service conducted at Thompsons of Placerville and learned that my $2,964 "lifetime warranty" was pending cancellation due to the fact that I failed to have a "Multi-Point Vehicle Inspection" every 5 years, something of which I was never made aware of. Only by mistake, my first inspection was performed on 3/8/13 (5 years and 2 months after purchase) not 6 years but 5 years and 2 months. Due to the above, Chrysler has failed to protect its customers. We also have a Lexus and Honda, both of which we regulary receive notices of servide pending, nothing that Chryler has ever done until just recently. The only notice I have ever received from Chrysler was due to a "recall" so I know I'm in there computed base. Neither me or my son, or any family member will ever buy another Chryler product. In addition I am a life time member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign wars and currently a District Deputy Grand Exalter Ruler, a representative of the Elks Grand Lodge in Chicago, and will now have something to talk about whenever we have a social meet. I'm submitting this complaint as a last resort and hopefully it will be processed to a higher managment level, other than a CSR, for review
Desired outcome: I woud appreciate a response from someone higher than a CSR, so that I can show everyone that Chrylser is only interest in $$$$ and not their customers.

I recently purchased a jeep gladiator Rubicon from this dealership. When I brought it in for minus service the plates had become expired. When I asked for another temporary plate since the dealer ship never got my plates on time they said they couldn't. They said recommended that I drive away with canceled or expired plates and if I got a ticket they would pay the ticket. I told them I don't want to get a ticket I just want my plates. They said I need to get my car out of there lot. I told them I can't get my car out of the lot since they never got the plates for my car. I then asked for a loaner car. They said they don't do that. I then asked for a rental car they said only if I pay for it I asked how am I going to get home they said Uber it. When I asked to talk to the general manager. The manager slammed my car door and said fine and walked away I told him I don't appreciate my car door being slammed and he said I don't appreciate you or your attitude and to leave. After six hours in the car dealership and being on the phone with Chrysler who had assured me that they will pay the bill, the car dealership did not even want to talk to Chrysler, the managers name was Mark and the general manager is Warren. I would never do business with these people ever again and I would hope no one else does either. Unless they enjoy being abused and wasting 6 hours of there day for something that was not there fault.
refuse to release my new car after agreeing about the price
Hello I have a dodge charger leased and I was looking for dodge durango. My lease of the old car ended on the 13. I got the new car on the 15 from Paramus last minutes they decided to not release the car for the same price we agreed about saying that they need to change the price and that was after they did credit check and made me sign the release paper. so I am not sure why a dodge dealer will do something like that especially that I am trying to stay with dodge. They made me waste my weekend and told me not to look for car since we agreed about the price and I should have the car ready on Monday. Monday afternoon I had to go to any dealer and get Durango that don't have the options I needed because some one decided not to give me the car is that the way that dodge want to treat a returning customer. At the end I stayed with dodge but for the next 3 years I will be driving a car that missing options i really wanted because of dealer decide to change the price on me the last min. I have all the paper in my email and if you want I will email it to you.
