I will never let Roto-Rooter ever do work for me again. $684.00 to replace a garbage disposal, $2300.00 to replace a water softener that was quoted at $1955.00. $1554.00 to dry out some drywall with equipment that did not work. Any price quoted was always higher after the work was done. They never print papers for you to sign it is all digital (wonder why). The Better Business Bureau was completely useless in protecting me from getting ripped off by Roto-Rooter. They got me once, never again. Filing a complaint with Roto-Rooter got me nowhere.

Chemed corporation is being investigated by the federal government for Medicare fraud at their for PROFIT hospice company Vistas. This sparked a securities fraudclass actions on behalf of investors when the case became public.Chemed's big boy Roto rooter is also being challenged in federal court. Its entire business model may have to change to the tune of millions of previously avoided overhead and then have to reimburse itsa former employees and current who have been forced to carry the companies expenses. The company also has some problems with consumer fr5uad to add to the worker exploitation...the investigations into these bad business practices may very well turn itno class actions as well. If you need to call a plumber...dont call roto rooter..you'll be ripped off by an unlicensed plumber...dont let the dig up your sewer theyll over charge you thousnads of dollars for repairs that are not needed...dont work for them...theyll force you to work unrecorded time and take money out of your pay at will...wait until they figure out their liability and se if they get their perverbial ### together.
