CheckBook CheckBook Review: Trustworthy Consumer Ratings with a Smart Approach

CheckBook is a pretty good website for checking out consumer ratings. You can trust the ratings, but you gotta be careful and look at all the details. Like, you can't just look at one 5-Star review and think that's the whole story. You gotta look at all the reviews and see what the average rating is. If there's a bunch of 4-Star ratings, that's probably more reliable than just one 5-Star. So yeah, CheckBook is good, but you gotta be smart about it.

CheckBook CheckBook.org Review: The Ultimate Solution for Managing Your Finances

I just gotta say, CheckBook (checkbook.org) is the real deal when it comes to managing your finances. I was tired of keeping track of all my expenses on paper and wanted to find a better way to stay organized. That's when I stumbled upon CheckBook and let me tell you, it's been a game changer.

First off, the website is super easy to navigate. I'm not the most tech-savvy person out there, but even I was able to figure it out without any issues. The interface is clean and simple, which makes it easy to input all your transactions and keep track of your balances.

One thing I really appreciate about CheckBook is the ability to categorize your expenses. This makes it easy to see where your money is going and where you might need to cut back. Plus, you can create custom categories to fit your specific needs.

Another great feature is the ability to reconcile your accounts. This means you can compare your records with your bank statements to make sure everything matches up. It's a great way to catch any errors or fraudulent activity.

Overall, I highly recommend CheckBook to anyone looking for a simple and effective way to manage their finances. It's helped me stay on top of my expenses and has saved me a lot of time and stress. Give it a try and see for yourself!

CheckBook CheckBook.org Helped Me Find the Perfect Contractor for My Window Replacement Needs!

I was in the market for some new windows for my home, and boy was I in for a ride! I needed to find a contractor who could take out the old windows and put in new ones. I wanted to make sure I was getting the best deal possible, so I turned to CheckBook.org to help me find a highly rated contractor.

After some searching, I found a contractor who had great ratings for both price and quality of service. They were able to install Millguard high-end windows and a sliding door with a special color baked on them for a total of $18.5K, including tax! This was a steal compared to the nearest bid I received, which was $22K for an inferior window. I had a total of 30 windows and one sliding door to replace, so this was a big job.

I was extremely pleased with the performance of the contractor and the quality of the windows. In fact, I was so impressed that I had them replace the windows on a rental property that I own. They did an excellent job there as well.

I have to say, if it weren't for CheckBook, I would have never been able to find such a great contractor. Thank you, CheckBook, for helping me find the perfect contractor for my window replacement needs. I highly recommend using CheckBook.org for all your contractor needs!

CheckBook Disappointing Experience with Greene's Duct Cleaning: Unprofessional and Overpriced

I recently had an experience with Greene's duct cleaning service and I must say, it was quite an interesting one. They had offered to clean all of our ducts, including the dryer vent, for a price of $125. Two men came to our house and quickly inspected the ducts. The lead, John, even drew us a diagram to show us what needed to be done. However, things took a turn when they informed us that the actual cost would be $750 to clean all the ducts, inputs, returns, and so on.

To make matters worse, they played around with our floor-mounted ducts, supposedly wire brushing and vacuuming them. But when we objected to their inability to clean the dryer duct, John suddenly changed the price to $75. It was quite a shock to us, and we were even more surprised when we said we would pay by credit card and John huffed and puffed, refusing to accept payment. In the end, they left having done virtually nothing, leaving no bill or business card behind.

Overall, I was disappointed with my experience with Greene's duct cleaning service. It seemed like they were trying to pull a fast one on us, and their lack of professionalism was quite evident. I would not recommend their services to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy duct cleaning service.

CheckBook Unsatisfied with Checkbook.org: Refusal to Reveal Reviewer's Identity and Questionable Business Practices

So, I was searching for my business on Google and I stumbled upon a 5-star review on "checkbook.org". I was surprised because my business is usually reviewed on Yelp, Google, and my website. I have no idea who left the review on this relatively unknown platform.

When I asked "checkbook.org" for the identity of the reviewer, they refused to provide it. I think this is not right. I did not sign any contract with "checkbook.org" and I believe that they should not be allowed to keep the identity of the reviewer a secret.

To make matters worse, I recently saw a job opening for "checkbook.org" on a jobs website. This made me question how they really operate. I do not like the idea of my hard-earned success being used to build someone else's questionable business.

Overall, I am not impressed with "checkbook.org" and I do not recommend it. Stick to the more popular review platforms like Yelp and Google if you want to leave a review for a business.

CheckBook Beware of Inaccurate Information: A Review of Checkbook.org's Guide to Federal Employee Health Benefits

Checkbook.org is a website that offers a Guide to Federal Employee Health Benefits for those who work in the federal government. While it may seem like a helpful resource, it is important to note that the information provided can be inaccurate and could potentially lead to financial loss.

One of the issues with the site is that it often recommends HDHP plans, claiming that their members rate them highly on quality and that the forecast costs are comparable or even lower than traditional insurance plans. However, this recommendation fails to take into account the cost of prescription medications before hitting the plan deductible, which can be quite high.

This oversight can result in individuals spending a significant amount of their HSA funds on prescription medications alone, leaving little to no funds left for other medical expenses. In some cases, even generic medications can cost twice as much under an HDHP plan compared to a traditional insurance plan.

It is important to thoroughly research and compare different insurance plans before making a decision, and to not solely rely on the information provided by Checkbook.org. While it may seem like a helpful resource, it is always best to double-check the accuracy of the information and to consider all factors before making a decision that could potentially cost you thousands of dollars.

CheckBook CheckBook Review: Valuable Consumer Reports, But Watch Out for Sneaky Upsells

Wow, I can't believe I'm the first one to write a review about CheckBook! I've been using this site for over 2 years now and I have to say, it's a pretty good site. They have a lot of valuable and extensive reports and ratings on service providers, which is really helpful when you're trying to make an informed decision. Plus, they have some insightful articles that can serve as shopping guides. I think it's a must-have for anyone who wants to be an educated consumer.

However, I do have one complaint. After I joined, I was pretty annoyed when they tried to upsell me to a larger, more encompassing membership. I mean, come on! I thought this was a consumer protection and advocate service, not a sales pitch. To get access to all the industries listed on their site, you have to upgrade. I was pretty furious about this. I mean, why should I have to pay more just to get what I thought I was getting all along?

I do remember there being a grace period to cancel, and the upsell price was fair. But the marketing and sales tactics they use to get you to buy are pretty sneaky. You could end up spending 25-50% more than what you expected, which is definitely not cool.

Overall, I still think CheckBook is a good site. But I wish they would be more upfront about their pricing and not try to trick people into spending more money.

CheckBook Checkbook.org Review: Unreliable and Unhelpful for Finding Top-Rated Companies

I recently had the opportunity to use checkbook.org and I have to say, I was not impressed. As a consumer, I was hoping to find a reliable source for finding top-rated companies in my area. Unfortunately, out of the three companies I met with, only one was satisfactory. This left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.

As a contractor, I was also disappointed with the rating system on checkbook.org. We were marked down in the category of "Letting you know cost early" with a score of under 80%. This is simply not true. We always email a firm quote to every customer before setting up a service appointment and we always stick to our quotes, even if it means taking a hit financially. It seems that those who are marking us down are doing so unfairly, just to make sure we feel the pain in every category.

Overall, I found checkbook.org to be unreliable and unhelpful. It seems to be just a smaller version of Yelp, which is not a compliment to either company. I would not recommend using checkbook.org as a reliable source for finding top-rated companies.

CheckBook Checkbook Review: Honest Recommendations for Quality Services

I ain't no fancy schmancy doctor or nothin', but I gotta say, Checkbook is the real deal. I been usin' Consumer Reports for like, forever, and they never steer me wrong. So when they recommended Checkbook, I signed up right away.

Let me tell ya, every single person I hired from Checkbook's recommendations has been freakin' amazing. Like, seriously, I couldn't be happier with the service I got. The only problem is, there's a buncha fake review sites out there tryna make a quick buck. But Checkbook ain't like that. They don't take no bribes or nothin', so you know you're gettin' honest reviews.

The only downside is that there ain't enough people like me who subscribe to Checkbook and leave reviews. So sometimes, there ain't enough recommendations for certain areas or services. But that ain't Checkbook's fault, ya know?

I can tell you one thing for sure, though. Ain't nobody gettin' a good review just 'cause they paid for it. And I know for a fact that there used to be a service that let businesses pay for good reviews, but Checkbook ain't like that. They're the real deal.

In the past decade, I've used Checkbook's reviews to find some seriously good auto service, appliance repair, hearing aids, electrical service, dry cleaners, and plumbers in Chicago. And I don't mind if they share my membership info, 'cause I trust 'em.

So if you're lookin' for honest reviews and recommendations, Checkbook is the way to go. Trust me, I ain't no genius, but I know a good thing when I see it.

CheckBook Checkbook.org: A Reliable Resource for Finding Quality Service Providers and Saving Money

Checkbook.org is a website that provides reviews and ratings of various service providers, ranging from auto mechanics to Wood Floor refinishers. They offer three levels of review, including "Ratings," "Comments," and "Advice."

The "Ratings" section is where they conduct surveys to measure the quality of a particular service provider and create a baseline "price" index. They obtain estimates for various services and create an index price using "$100" as the index. For instance, a provider that's listed as being "$90" will generally be 10% below the area average. They also include a survey "quality" ranking, which is the number of respondents who rate the firm as "excellent" for quality of work.

The "Comments" section is a consumer-driven "comment" board where people can recommend or review specific companies. It can be a useful screening tool, and access to the "Comments" boards is free.

The "Advice" section provides articles on how to contract certain service providers or how to "do it yourself." It generally doesn't include the "price and quality" rankings because the nature of the business doesn't lend itself to that type of evaluation.

Access to the "Ratings" and "Advice" articles requires a subscription, which is currently $34 for two years. In the past, you could purchase individual reports, but now a subscription provides access to the articles on the website and includes a printed magazine.

I first encountered Checkbook several years ago when I was contracting to have a fence replaced. The quotes I was getting seemed high, and the contractors seemed pushy and a bit skeezy. So, I bought a report from Checkbook for like $3 on fence builders, found a local firm with a good reputation, and saved $1800 over the previous quotes I'd received.

Since then, I've been a subscriber and have no doubt they've saved me a lot of money and stress over contracting with service providers. Hiring firms that overcharge you is bad enough, but hiring firms that don't show up or do shoddy work is even worse.

Checkbook only operates in certain geographic areas, but if you're a homeowner who lives in one of their service areas, I definitely recommend you check them out. I know they've saved me far more money finding and selecting contractors than I'll ever pay for their subscription.

In fact, just a few weeks ago, I put in hardwood flooring from a local store I'd have never considered without their reviews. It came in almost $2500 less than Home Depot's quote and nearly $1000 less than the best quote I'd gotten before. Overall, Checkbook is a great resource for anyone looking to save money and find reliable service providers.

CheckBook CheckBook.org Review: Useful Financial Tools, But Be Wary of Mismatched Information and Fake Reviews

I stumbled upon CheckBook (checkbook.org) while searching for a reliable source to help me manage my finances. At first glance, the website seemed promising with its clean layout and easy-to-use interface. However, upon further exploration, I found that the information provided was often mismatched and misleading.

For example, when searching for a local bank, the results would often include banks that were not even in my state. This made it difficult to trust the accuracy of the information provided. Additionally, some of the reviews seemed fake or overly positive, which made me question the authenticity of the entire website.

Despite these issues, I did find some useful information on CheckBook. The website offers a variety of financial tools and resources, such as budgeting calculators and credit score trackers. These tools were helpful in giving me a better understanding of my financial situation and how to improve it.

Overall, while CheckBook has its flaws, it can still be a useful resource for those looking to manage their finances. Just be sure to double-check the information provided and take the reviews with a grain of salt.

CheckBook CheckBook Review: Mixed Bag of Contractors, Disappointing Lack of Verification

I was really disappointed with CheckBook. It's a shame that they don't do a better job of checking out the people who are listed on their site. There are a lot of contractors on there who have terrible reputations, but somehow they still manage to get glowing reviews. It's really frustrating, because it makes it hard to know who you can trust.

One thing that really bothers me is that I think some of these bad contractors are specifically targeting older people. They know that seniors are often more vulnerable and may not be as savvy when it comes to hiring contractors. It's really sad to see people taking advantage of others like that.

Overall, I would say that CheckBook is a mixed bag. There are some good contractors on there, but you really have to do your own research to make sure you're not getting scammed. It's definitely not a site that you can just rely on blindly.

CheckBook Disappointing Experience with CheckBook.org: Only 1 Star Average Rating?

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with CheckBook (checkbook.org). I mean, I heard some good things about it, so I thought I'd give it a try. But man, was I wrong. I checked out some reviews for my business, and let me tell you, they were not good. And the worst part? There were only 32 reviews, so it's not like it was a huge sample size or anything. And yet, somehow, the average rating was only one star. Like, what the heck? That just doesn't seem accurate to me. I mean, my business has thousands of online reviews with Google and other sites, and our average rating is 4.7 or higher. So I don't know what's up with CheckBook, but I'm not impressed.

Is CheckBook legit?

Our conclusion: After a detailed review, ComplaintsBoard finds CheckBook to be a trustworthy company. Although there's a 0% resolution rate for customer complaints, which deserves attention, CheckBook is known for their high standards and safety. If you're thinking about dealing with CheckBook, it's wise to check how they handle complaints.

CheckBook earns a trustworthiness rating of 91%

Highly recommended, but caution will not hurt.

CheckBook has received 6 positive reviews on our site. This is a good sign and indicates a safe and reliable experience for customers who choose to work with the company.

The age of CheckBook's domain suggests that they have had sufficient time to establish a reputation as a reliable source of information and services. This can provide reassurance to potential customers seeking quality products or services.

Checkbook.org has a valid SSL certificate, which indicates that the website is secure and trustworthy. Look for the padlock icon in the browser and the "https" prefix in the URL to confirm that the website is using SSL.

Checkbook.org has been deemed safe to visit, as it is protected by a cloud-based cybersecurity solution that uses the Domain Name System (DNS) to help protect networks from online threats.

We looked up CheckBook and found that the website is receiving a high amount of traffic. This could be a sign of a popular and trustworthy website, but it is still important to exercise caution and verify the legitimacy of the site before sharing any personal or financial information

However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:

  • While CheckBook has a high level of trust, our investigation has revealed that the company's complaint resolution process is inadequate and ineffective. As a result, only 0% of 6 complaints are resolved. The support team may have poor customer service skills, lack of training, or not be well-equipped to handle customer complaints.
  • CheckBook protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.

CheckBook CheckBook.org Review: Lack of Genuine Customer Reviews Disappoints

I tried using CheckBook (checkbook.org) to find some reviews about local businesses, but I was disappointed to find out that there weren't any real reviews from actual customers. It seems like their main goal is to get people to sign up and become members of their organization.

I was hoping to read some honest feedback from other people who have used these businesses before, but all I found were generic descriptions and ratings that didn't really tell me anything useful. It's frustrating to think that I wasted my time on this website when I could have just asked my friends or family for recommendations.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend using CheckBook if you're looking for genuine reviews from real customers. It's better to do your own research and talk to people you trust to get honest opinions about local businesses. Don't waste your time on websites like this that are more interested in getting you to sign up than providing helpful information.

CheckBook CheckBook.org: A Scam for Fake Ratings and Reviews

I was checking out CheckBook (checkbook.org) to see what people were saying about my business. According to them, there were 14 reviews of my business, but I couldn't see any of them. That seemed a bit fishy to me. And to make matters worse, they gave me a 1 star rating. What a load of baloney!

I did a little digging and found out that CheckBook is just a scam. They try to get businesses to pay them off for a good rating. That's not how things should work. Ratings should be based on honest feedback from real customers, not on who pays the most.

I wouldn't trust anything that CheckBook says. They're completely false and unreliable. If you want to know what people really think about your business, ask your customers directly. Don't rely on shady websites like CheckBook.

CheckBook CheckBook Review: Limited Subscription Area and Inaccurate Recommendations

So, I got this CheckBook thing from my dad as a gift. He said it would help me find good doctors and vets in my area. But when I tried to use it, I couldn't find anything! Turns out, I'm outside their "subscription area" or something like that. And they only recommend businesses that are like 50 miles away! I wish they had told my dad that before he spent his money on it. What a bummer.
