They sent me dead turtles and wouldn't give me a refund
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY. I would give zero stars if I could, and I wish I had checked their BBB rating before doing business with them.
This company sent me dead Eastern Box Turtles...TWICE. I didn't know that Tortoise Town and CB Reptile are the SAME COMPANY (aka Next Generation Enterprises). I ordered from Tortoise Town first, which promises overnight delivery, but that didn't happen. The Eastern Box Turtles SHOWED UP DEAD (as in they baked to death on their way from NJ to AZ), and when I asked for a REFUND, THEY SAID NO, but they would send me another set of turtles. Why would I want a company that failed the first time to send me more turtles?
Meanwhile, I placed another order with CB Reptile for 2 Eastern Box Turtles. I didn't know at the time that they were the SAME COMPANY. These turtles also showed up dead, but this time I had the good sense to take their temperature. These turtles showed up several days after being ordered and were 105 DEGREES! The "cold pack" was 107 DEGREES!
Same deal. Wouldn't give me my money back. I had to dispute it through my credit card company. These people actually claimed that I was a "thief" for wanting my money back because I accepted the "Terms and Conditions." Turns out the Terms and Conditions say, "We guarantee they will arrive alive," so it was easy for Chase to go to bat, and I got my money back. I have pictures and videos of all of this because I wanted to be able to show how terrible it was.
It's just mean to send turtles a second time, knowing that they didn't show up alive the first time. Don't give them money because if something goes wrong, it's on you somehow, never mind the animals they ship.
Poor Customer Service and Pet Quality: My Experience with cbreptile.com
I gotta say, my time dealing with cbreptile.com was not the best. So, I wanted to get my grandson a bearded dragon for his birthday and I ordered one from cbreptile.com. We set everything up for the pet to live comfortably. Although the pet was supposed to arrive on my grandson's birthday, it took a week more to get to us.
After receiving the pet, we noticed a few problems with it in just a few weeks of having it. We reached out to cbreptile.com multiple times to address these concerns, but there was no response from them. My son tried to get in touch with them as well, but nothing seemed to work. When we were finally planning to take the pet to a vet, it passed away just a short time after arriving on our doorsteps.
I tried reaching out to the website again, but yet again, no one responded and they also refused to provide us with a refund. So, I would strongly suggest that you do not buy anything from cbreptile.com as our experience was really a waste of time and money. Maybe, go on another website that could offer better customer service.
Disappointing Experience with CB Reptile: Unreliable Service and Poor Communication
I remember buying a tegu from CB Reptile a while back for 330 dollars. I was so excited to finally own one of my own, like a dream come true. However, my excitement was very short-lived, because even after two months of waiting, my lovely new pet reptile was nowhere to be found. It was an endless cycle of 'next week', 'next week', every time I checked with them about the whereabouts of my tegu.
As days went by, I got more and more worried about whether or not I’d ever get my hands on my new pet. Then one day, CB Reptile let me know that they would not be able to fulfill my order any longer due to some undisclosed issues. Finally, they refunded my money, and I was left crestfallen. I had already told my family about the new arrival, and I felt embarrassed that I didn't deliver what I had promised them.
I went back to their website and, shockingly, found out that all of their tegus were listed as sold out after they had already sold and sent them out to other customers, and forgotten about poor me. That was so unprofessional! I had never experienced such saddening, frustrating, and disappointing service from a reptile store before. What CB Reptile did is pathetic and unacceptable, and they should be ashamed of themselves.
Overall, my experience with CB Reptile was unsatisfactory, and I wouldn't recommend them if you're looking for a reliable reptile store. They misled me for two whole months, and I had to go and explain to my family that we wouldn't be getting our new addition for now. Such poor communication, shady behavior and unreliability from this company! They need to review their business model, increase their commitment to customer service, and improve their manner of handling customer orders.

CB Reptile Review: Poorly Cared for Hatchling Leads to Heartbreak
I recently purchased a hatchling turtle from CB Reptile. At first, the little guy was doing great, always eating and seemingly healthy. However, I soon noticed that his shell seemed unusually squishy and was covered in white spots. Despite my best efforts to care for him, I woke up one morning to find that he had passed away after only two weeks.
I couldn't help but notice that he had been scratching his face a lot in the days leading up to his death, and my suspicions lead me to believe that he may have been carrying parasites when I received him. It's very disappointing that CB Reptile would send out an animal in such poor health, especially one that would ultimately cause so much heartbreak.
While I am sure that most of their animals do not come with these issues, I cannot in good conscience recommend CB Reptile based on my own experience. It's clear they did not properly care for this poor turtle before sending him to me. It's a shame that they don't seem to care about the wellbeing of their animals, and I would hate for anyone else to have to go through what I did.
Slow Shipping and Wrong Chameleon: Disappointing Experience with Reptile Dealer
Shipping was real slow (24 hours my foot!), and they sent me the wrong kind of chameleon! Instead of a young adult that I ordered, I got a little hatchling! That's a big difference in price, I tell you what, nearly $200 more up in smoke! Not only that, but I gotta get a whole new setup now to take care of the baby and different food just for it to survive! I spoke to them and they said they were too busy to get things straight? I don't know if that's incompetence or straight-up thievery, but it sure ain't right! Other folks are saying that this ain't the first time that these kinds of things have happened, so I ain't the only one here. When I tried to get at their customer service, it was like trying to get a prize out of a claw machine - you're always so close and yet so far! They don't even answer the damned phone or respond to texts, and the emails they sent back are really short and smack of rudeness. I was thinking I was splashing out a pretty penny and getting a premium kind of reptile dealer, but it's more like they're just beginners playing around.
If you want to find out where to get good breeds that care bout their chameleons, go onto a forum or group over at Facebook and they'll steer you true. If I don't get some sort of resolution to this in a jif, I'm putting a call into the NJ DA's office. They're gonna hear all about this, and it ain't gonna be pretty!

I recently ordered a panther chameleon from CB Reptile, and I have to say my experience was less than ideal. They promised delivery on Friday, February 20th, but the lizard was nowhere to be found. I tried calling them, but couldn't get through, so I sent a message and was told it would arrive on Tuesday. Naturally, it didn't show up then either, and I had to reach out yet again, this time being informed that it would arrive on Friday instead. Sadly, that wasn't the case either.
It wasn't until they offered a tracking number that I had any sense of hope, but even then, the label was created on Monday the 22nd and nothing happened after that. It's now Sunday, February 28th, and I still don't have my lizard. That's 11 days later, which is pretty unacceptable when you're expecting a live animal. I wouldn't bother arguing with them about the 20% refund charge – just dispute it with your credit card company and you'll likely have the money back in 1-2 days. And if it were up to me, I'd report them as a scam and get them shut down for good. Trust me, there are better places to buy reptiles from. Wish I'd read the reviews beforehand!
CB Reptile Review: Terrible Customer Service & Communication - Do Not Recommend Buying
Hey guys, just wanted to share my experience with CB Reptile. So, I decided to get myself a beautiful creature from their online store. I made my order on Sunday and they took the money out of my account on Monday, which is cool. However, since then, I haven't heard anything from them - no email, no text, nothing.
I mean, on their website, they have a shipping chart that shows expected delivery time but my package is nowhere to be found. I've tried contacting them several times through their email address and phone number, but they haven't replied. I even sent them a message on social media, but they ignored me.
I thought to myself, "These guys have time to post pictures of reptiles on FB and Instagram, but they can't reply to their customers?" I also left a comment on both social media platforms, but they deleted them. So, now I'm left with no choice but to file a dispute with my bank because I can't trust them anymore.
Honestly, if I can't rely on them to communicate with me during the ordering process, I doubt they'll support me if there are any issues post shipping. It's pretty obvious they don't care about their customers or the animals they're selling. I strongly advise against buying from them!
CB Reptile: A Deceptive Company with No Customer Service
This CB Reptile company is one big NO NO. I gotta be honest, they ain't got no customer service. They don't even care about the ones who buy from 'em and they don't keep their promises. It's just plain wrong to take someone's cash and then not deliver the goods. I mean like, how is that cool? Huh?
I bought something from them and I can prove I did but they just won't make good on it. Their website doesn't say a darn thing about how pending charges ain't the same as cleared ones either. Like, come on! That's real sneaky in my book!
So I gave them my greenbacks and I got nothin' but a big fat FAIL in return. They even had the gall to say it didn't go through on their end even though it went through on mine! And they won't give me no help at all to fix the mess they made. It ain't right that they just take my money and run! I found out on BBB that this ain't their first rodeo either. I'm tellin' ya, they got me good. I ain't gonna let no one else get sucked into their pit of deceit! I'm gonna spread the word far and wide so that no one else gets scammed by them too. Plus, I'm gonna make a fuss down at the ol' bank and tell 'em what a buncha crooks CB Reptile be.
Warning: Stay Away from CB Reptile - Terrible Experience with Live Animal Purchase
This company, CB Reptile, totally sucks. Like, they're completely terrible. So I ordered a panther chameleon from them for like, $359. And when it came, it was like, barely even born. And then, like, it died in just six days. Can you believe that? So I had to ask for a replacement, which I had to pay like, an extra $40 for overnight shipping. Like, duh, it's a live animal, it should be overnighted, right? Anyway, I asked for an older chameleon this time, but they sent it out during a big storm. And like, what kind of reputable breeder would do that, right? I just wanted my chameleon to arrive safe and sound. But it finally got here like, three days late and guess what? It was DOA. Like, dead on arrival. Soooo disappointing. And get this, it was the same size as the first one they sent me. And like, they don't even give you any care sheets or anything, or even the date it hatched. That's just so, like, irresponsible and cruel. And I've read other reviews on Facebook and stuff where people have had the same horrible experience. So, like, don't buy anything from CB Reptile. Just stay away. They're the worst.
Unresponsive Customer Service and Delayed Shipping: My Experience with CB Reptile
I was on the hunt for a new Leopard Gecko and stumbled upon CB Reptile's website. I gotta say, they had some pretty cool geckos up for sale that caught my eye, so I decided to go for it and purchased one. I expected to receive updates on my order, but after a whole week, I didn't hear anything besides a receipt for my purchase.
Feeling a bit concerned on the second week, I tried contacting them over the phone a couple of times, yet no one picked up. After a few more tries, someone finally explained that due to the weather, animal shipments were being delayed - which made sense. However, after another week of waiting and still no package, I called them back, and they said they'd send it out the following Wednesday.
But unfortunately, Wednesday came and went, and still no Gecko. I ended up calling them again, and they said the package would come along the following week. I felt badgered and tired of the whole process; still, I waited for another week, but to no avail. So finally, I sent them an email - but they never replied!
After waiting for an excruciating month and two weeks, they finally sent out my package. But oh boy, when I received my Gecko, it looked terribly sick! The poor thing was freezing, and its stomach was extremely flat - like something was wrong with it. The customer service was horrendous, to say the least, and the whole experience made me want to steer away from CB Reptile's website for good.
I suspected that my new pet was sick, but alas they weren't willing to do anything about it. Although I contemplated canceling my order, they would only reimburse me around 20% - which just wasn't worth it.
All in all, CB Reptile may have some exciting options on their website, but with the unresponsive customer service and tardiness in delivering properly functioning goods, it's just not worth the trouble.
