My 78 year old Mom has a severe Respiratory Condition that requires continuous oxygen along with 24 care.
She purchased a care.com subscription to obtain caregiving services to allow Her to remain in Her home. After allowing Her to post a job and taking Her money She wasn't able to respond to the 20 applicants for the position. They were initially claiming it was an issue with identification verification. The app was blocking Her from being able to complete their supposed verification process. All permissions were granted. I messaged them repeatedly and even called them but they refuse to allow Her utilize the service She paid for. The card She paid with is in Her name, Her email address is Her name, we offered to FaceTime with ID in hand and whatever other document. Her State case worker and Doctors were willing to verify Her identity. They had no intention of resolving the issue. Now She was intentionally locked out of Her account. Swindling seniors with severe health conditions is despicable, and should be considered a criminal act.
