Care.com review: Terrible company

Terrible policies. I signed up at the "discounted" rate of $50 for 3 months. I gave them my name, address, email address, phone number, and credit card number. The charge went through quickly and it said welcome to the site. When I logged in and found a housecleaner I liked, I clicked the button to send her a message. It then said I had to provide a copy of my driver's license and a picture of my face. I would NEVER give that to anyone online. I cancelled the membership and requested a refund, which they immediately refused to do. Nowhere did they disclose that they might require this before they took my money, which they say is "nonrefundable". Can't help but wonder how many people the rip off this way. This is NOT a trustworthy company.
