It was awesome to have a credit card that would help me when I needed the most. What I didn't know is what a high price I was going to pay back for that feeling. I have been a customer for almost 2 years. The idea of if you pay your promotion on time you wouldn't be charge interest sounded great. However, life happens and I missed after paying all my promotions on time one payment. The total of that promotion was $1586 I ended paying $376 of interest which I wasn't upset because it was on me not paying on time. So, I go ahead and keep on paying usually my payments are not the exact amount of the promotion I always try to send extra. For my surprise my payments weren't going toward the unpaid promotion of $1586 which you think it would go since is the last open promotion I had but also for my surprise all my payments were being divided toward all my promotions even the ones that weren't due instead to the next promotion. I look into my promotions and I can't find the promotion that I was behind it only gives me 6 months info under the inactive promotions. So I'm thinking ok I must have paid it because it's not showing but then I added all my open promotions and it doesn't add up I finally called today and I asked about it they told me I still owed the $1586 promotion. I told them no one had told me about the money dispersing in all your promotions when I applied in 2 years of course they want to make sure you miss your promotion to get you with their interest charge. I told them I have missed only one payment considering it's May right now and I already paid them June, July and partially September promotions if they could work with me and offer me another promotion on the $1,586 promotion I missed. I explained to them I was retired and I'm doing everything I can to keep my payments on time and lately I have been sending payments of $700 to $1400 the answer was that they couldn't because it was their terms policy and they had to do what the terms policy said. I ask her shouldn't your priority be your customers and try to help them work with you? The bottom line is yes is great to have their card but be careful make sure to call their customer service when you have a payment because if not your promotions will not be completely paid and here you are thinking you are on time, they will get you with their interest charge since the promotion will not be fully paid even though you think it is. Also, be ready to hold on the phone sometimes over 30 minutes I know I've been calling them since I knew about the promotions scam. Right now instead of paying $1,586 they want me to pay $1,841 extra and believe me if you can't pay they will ratter send you to collections if you don't pay than working with you to help you out. Once I'm done paying this card I'm done and making everyone aware to be very careful with this company. Care credit great card if you needed but beware it has no compassion when it comes to it's customers. So if you see yourself in a hardship you are screwed they will not help you.
