Canada Goose review: Canada Goose: Lifetime warranty or lifetime runaround?!

I filed a warranty claim for a ripped cuff on my jacket. I waited over a month for further instructions, heard nothing, so I called them myself to get the ball rolling. A few weeks later, they came back and denied my claim—nothing was covered.

Then they sent me an invoice for nearly $500. Not just for the cuff, but for a list of "required" repairs: replace the zipper, the logo tag, the Velcro—all of which were in perfect condition and didn't need any attention whatsoever.

I called and clearly stated that I only wanted the cuff repaired. Please remove the rest—they're fine, no work needed. Their response? Refusal. They claimed those items are "part of the repair package," that they don't do partial repairs, and that it's "just their policy." No exceptions. No logic.

I fail to see what a zipper, puller ribbon, or Velcro has to do with a torn cuff. It makes absolutely no sense. They're tacking on unrelated work just to inflate the bill—holding my jacket hostage unless I pay for services I never asked for. It feels less like customer service and more like a shakedown.

I genuinely wanted to support a Canadian brand. But after this experience, I can't in good conscience buy from them again. The customer service has been inconsistent, unresponsive, and full of contradictory messages that only added confusion and frustration. None of this reflects the premium image they try so hard to project.

Shame on you, Canada Goose.
