Great experience with Mello W ! He was very thorough and quick to respond with any updates-great rate and smooth closing-highly recommend him and the Company !

This company was great to work with till the money from my refinance didn't get to the mortgage company in time so my credit took a 100 point hit for a 30 day late payment. They said they would take care of it but its been 2 months and nothing has been done but credit cards canceling me and getting denied for credit.

We just completed the simplest morthage refi with Caliver Beach Mortgage. Mello W and Mike C are explemplary to work with! Have never experienced a more professional, customer service oriented, financial transaction in my life! Mello and Mike went above and beyond to ensure the best deal possible for our situation. Mello called daily with updates and the entire process took 2 weeks. Would give 10 stars and recommend to anyone seeking a refi! Thanks Mello and Mike, you are THE BEST! Highly recommend this company!

I worked with Mello W from Caliver Beach on the refinance of my home loan. He could not have been better to work with. He supplied good and accurate information and was very responsive and helpful throughout the process that went very smoothly. Their rates were more than competitive and required a minimum amount of time on my part. He was easier to work with than using a local service or my mortgage holder at the time of the refinance. Cannot recommend him highly enough and would welcome the opportunity to work with him in the future.

We sent everything, signed all papers, had our appraisal and Danelle said she would call us with closing date Coroavirus hit and I didn't hear anything for a month or so. I called Chris three times. Once he said he would get back to me in two hours. I waited two weeks called him again and he said he would get back to me by the end of the day. He didn't. I waited another two weeks left a message for him to call me. When he did get back to me the next day he said we didnt get the refinance because the lenders changed the credit scores they would accept and ours was too low. I am thoroughly dissapointedwith this company

This experience was as headache and stress free as I could have ever imagined. From the time I had my first contact with Jason K, he was very professional, patient, and very knowledgeable and definitely the main reason that I can say that this was a pleasure to go through. I spoke with Jason, Mike, and another guy, they were all very friendly, which helped with my trust issues. Jason kept me aware of every possibility at all times, asked if I had any questions or concerns and made me feel like family. There is definitely great energy with Jason K and his team, I had a pleasure working with him and this company. I give 5 stars all around the board. 10 out of 10!

Rude, Blasphemous and Dishonest I received a letter saying that I had approximately 1800$ in available funds. I called the number and gave the receptionist the number from the form. She transferred me to a man named Brian. He began speaking about mortgages and new laws recently passed when I interrupted him and said that its starting to sound like he doesn't have the 1789.92 check that the letter led me to believe. He replied that there was in fact a few ways for me to get money from what he had planned. When I said that that was the opposite of the money the letter inferred available, he became very rude. He mocked the value of my home and called me several curse words as well as throwing in blasphemous terms in between the swears. I am a veteran of the US Army, with 5 combat tours. I don't believe this is what the government had in mind when they set up the VA loan program. I will be contacting them as well as my congressman.

Caliver Beach Mortgage in Maryland was the best mortgage experience I have ever had! I have closed on many homes over the years and nothing compares to the service I received and level of confidence I developed with Jade at Caliver. Each week on Friday I got a call from Jade at Caliver giving me an update on the process. Every document sent or requested was accompanied by a phone call and explanation of how to provide the required information or how to understand the content of complex mortgage documents and disclosures. After indicating a general interest in getting a mortgage online I was inundated with calls from mortgage brokers all with competitive rates. After a short discussion with Caliver I was convinced that they could provide the level of service I wanted and move me forward to a closing while being mindful of my time. They met and exceeded my expectations! I don't normally write reviews - that is definitely not my thing - but just had to share a very unusually good experience in getting a mortgage!

Caliver Beach Mortgage company acted in an unprofessional manner on numerous occasions when dealing with home closure.
My sisters and I are handling the sale of my father's home as he recently passed away. We placed the home on the market and were immediately approached by a buyer, prior to multple listing. We signed an agreement with the buyer on 9/28 with a settlement date of Oct 21, at the buyers request! . The buyer was using Caliver Beach Mortage Company.
The day of settlement I received an email from the title company inviting me to settlement in several hours. This was during work hours , so I had to reschedule my day. One hour prior to the scheduled settlement I received an email stating settlement would NOT occur. No explaination, no call.
Another date was set, Monday November 9th, 21/2 weeks later. Settlement never occurred that day, no explanation.
24 hours later I received a phone call from Marc C at Caliver Mortgage Company. He apologized for the delay, and said everything was in order to move forward. He stated the buyer needed 72 hours to review documents so settlement would now be Friday Nov. 13. No settlement occurred Friday. Not until that evening after business hours did Mr. C inform the buyers real estate agent the reason for the 3rd delay. He stated Veteran's day occured during that week, therefore the required 72 hours necessary for the client to review the documents had not been met. Didn't Mr C know Veterans day occurred that week when he rescheduled settlement for the 3rd time? Isn't that his job?
Settlement was rescheduled, for the 4th time, November 16th, 4pm. I arrived to settlement ,again leaving work early and changing my schedule. Only the real estate agent representing my father's home and I showed for settlement. There was no communication from the buyers,or the mortgage company as to why closing was again delayed.
72 hours later we were informed my Caliver Mortgage Company , via email,the monies were not yet available, however would be soon. Mr C sent an email to the real estate agents and made reference to earnest monies being returned to his client and threatened legal action if this did not happen.

This is unacceptable behavior. The repeated cancellations with lack of communication is disrespectful, disconcerting and unprofessional.
This was a total of 7 weeks of on and off negotiations.
Through out this process we were unable to show the house to other potential buyers,placing us at a disadvantage.

I have divulged sensitive information to the company in question, Caliver beach Mortgage company, and want it removed from their database. I spoke with a one Rudy F on 8/4 about possibly refinancing our mortgage on our recently purchased home. He asked for several pieces of sensitive information such as SSN#, DOB, place of employment, etc. I have yet to receive the follow up phone call to talk with a specialist, which was promised within 48 hours. I am worried that this is a scam, especially after giving away sensitive information.

Possible scam I have been receiving letters showing I have available funds through FHA loan that I have. I called the number the salesman named Mike had questions about my loan I was in the process of telling him that before I gave him any information I would like to research his company. He cut me off before I could finish saying if I didn't want to save any money he would talk to someone else and hung up on me. His number is ***. I did call him back and went to his voicemail. I request he remove me from their mailing list and I believed this to be a scam.

On 4/30, I spoke with a Rudy F & provided a lot sensitive personal data. I was told I would get a call back but haven't heard from anyone. On 4/30, I spoke with a Rudy F - Mortgage Application Specialist, NMLS License ID# ***, [protected] (Office) at Caliver Beach Mortgage. I provided a lot sensitive personal data to him and he told me I would get a call back from someone the next day but haven't heard back from anyone. Rudy emailed me after our initial conversation and said I could reach out to him with any questions, but I have reached out to him 3 times via email and he has never responded back. This looks like a scam and I am concerned that this person has my SSN #, DOB and other types of personal information. At this point, I'm inclined to file a police report for fraud.
