On February 29th, 2020, I was offered a special for 4 sessions with a PT. They had 4 sessions for $109.00+ taxes. It was something I was interested in and the Associate who explained it all to me said I would hear back from the trainer within the week.
Unfortunately, due to COVID, all gyms had to shut down for some time. I tried reaching out to them requesting a refund because I knew I wouldn't be able to get those sessions. I tried emailing, I called both the location and the main number on the Website and no one is returning my calls. I also tried the option to have a representative calling me back and, since I was at work, I missed the call. I didn't even get a second call and just disregard everything.
More than a year later, I still didn't get a refund for this and now that the gyms are open, I didn't even get a call to start the sessions. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with Goodlife.
At this point, all I want is to be reimbursed for a service I never received.
Desired outcome: Please reimburse the full amount with taxes.
GoodLife Fitness - Membership cancellation due to facility moving
I held a glf membership for almost two years. The gym was close to my work and was located on my way home so it was convenient. I received notification that this gym was closing and moving to another location across the city. I contacted glf immediately and asked for a refund of the balance of my membership costs. After many attempts and emails they agreed to send me a refund. I patiently waited for the cheque to arrive but it never did so I followed up and they said that it was cancelled in error and that they would issue another cheque and mail it out. That was over a month ago and still no refund cheque. Now they are ignoring my emails...
