Tommy Hilfiger

I have been buying clothes for my sons and my husband from the Tommy Hilfiger store in Canada for years. I do like their quality. However, last year I bought a black and a navy blue chinos for my son. After the first wash I noticed neither pants looked clean - I thought it was soap stains so did not return it to the store. I tried to solve the problem by re-washing the pants without soap. I have tried that 3 times with the same result - pants looks stained. I only recently had the opportunity to go to the store I bought the pants at and asked for a solution to my problem. The Manager at the Burloak, Oakville, ON store said she never received a complaint like that before and proceeded to give me washing instructions i.e. wash clothes inside out, don't put it in dryer. I explained to her that I always wash all clothes inside out and I don't dry clothes in the dryer as the dryer does destroy clothes especially coloured ones. She concluded that she could not help me as its been a year since I bought the pants. I was not expecting a refund but I did think for quality control purposes she would exchange the pants and send the problem one to the department that handles quality control to investigate. I no longer have the receipt but may be able to track it on my credit card.
