I visited the Queenston store in Hamilton Ontario today, Feb 19 at approximately 1:30 to return an A/V convertor that I never used. I purchased it prior to Christmas. My kids figured a way to get signal to an old receiver. When I asked for a refund they indicated that I was beyond the 30 day return policy. I understand that. However as we have been in lock down I would expect some leniency. The fellow I spoke with was unapologetic and actually pretty rude. He did ask someone else but again threw store policy in my face. I told them there are a couple of people in my house that are vulnerable right now and was not about to go out simply to return an item due to the risk of Covid. I was told they didn't care and that the policy is what it is. It has been a very long time since I experienced such ignorance and rudeness in a retail store. All I want is my $54.24 returned. I will be sharing my customer experience at Visions with others. A simple gesture of good will is not a lot to ask for.
