purchased a Mastercard for $200 for a gift on Dec 16th at the Shoppers Drug mart at 14th avenue and Markham road location in Markham . When the person tried to use the card on the 26th it was completely wiped out. Some one in Brampton had used it on the 17th of December at an LCBO location. I have called the head office of Shoppers and logged a complain but todate no one has taken any action. I was advised to call Shoppers Card Services - Cannot get through to anybody. I was asked to provide documentation and all was sent instantly. No response so far. Never will I go to this location again and the service I received was extremely bad. If shoppers is selling a product, they need to stand by it. $200 is quite a bit of money. Since then my family and I have talked about it to so many people and they will not go to Shoppers and we all feel there is fraudulent activity going on with Shoppers. Same thing is happening to me except at a different store. Mine was an Amazon card that had already been used, glued back into the packaging and sold off the shelf. They won't replace it. I have contacted CTV W5, CBC Marketplace, this site and a government site and the police. There's a scam going on here!
