Mr
Mrpl778 on Jan 5, 2011

I called them and ask them to reimburse me for work that i had done, and the refused my claim, they had more excuses then i have got patience. I was told it was a covered job, but because the company that did the work did not call them, and i went and had the repair done myself they said i was not eligible for a reimbursment. I have never seen a company that will not pay there responiblilites to their costomers, even other insurance companies reimburse you for charges that you pay for out of your own pocket . I hope you are able to shut this sham outfit down and get me back my money that i...

US Fidelis / Auto repair insurance scam

Fr

US Fidelis, the biggest scam going. I could have avoided this by checking into the company better. If I knew that the owner was a felon I would not have signed up. After paying $1500.00 my car developed an engine problem. US Fidelis then requested a copy of all my maintenance records for almost two years. After sending this information to them there was no response. I then contacted them and of course was told that they didn't receive anything. I sent them again and once again no response. I contacted them again and was now told that I had to bring the car to a shop, have the engine taken apart and diagnosed. Then they would decide if they would cover it or not. These people are con artists. Avoid them.

US Fidelis / Complete waste of my money

What a SCAM! Complete waste of my money. The water pump went out and I had to show ORIGINAL receipts for all my old changes for 2 years. The garage that I go to, to have the water pump and oil changed offered to send them copies of all my oil changes and they said it wouldn’t work. They actually expected me to have copies of all those ORIGINAL receipts with me in my wallet so that I can fax them over. Keep in mind I dropped the car off earlier in the day and I’m at work. I only had 2 payments left and I canceled it. They actually said to me, “you only have 2 payments left...

US Fidelis / US Fidelis is a legal scam

I finaly have finished dealings with US Fidels and feel they are the closest thing you can get legaly to a scam. After talking to Tier 1, Mepco, and US. Fidels today all spanning over 2 hours i have realized that there is no way i am going to get my money back. I called in 33 days after i started my policy, as soon as i could becuase it took 10 days for the letter to get to me from them and i was in the field for training for the next 21 days when it did actualy come, and they told me that because it wasnt with in 30 days the policy can't be cancelled by a simple call. To cancel it then...

US Fidelis - California / Car Bumper to Bumper warranty

Ej

June 2009, I spoke to Jeremiah Trout, about becoming a member of US Fidelis. I wasn't sure at first, but we talked at length about factory warranties and that they only covered lubricated parts. Jeremiah assured me that signing on for a Primer package it would cover my car bumper to bumper, the only catch was that I could not use it for 60 days. So I waited making my payments faithly and now it is mid January 2010, my car started acting up, I called US Fidelis and asked if it was okay to use the warranty now, I was told yes, I( could go to any shop of my choosing, just have the maintain...

US Fidelis - Missouri, Wentzville / Fraud

This is the website for the St. Louis Post Dispatch which has numerous stories exposing US Fidelis and several other auto warranty/service contract companies. The following link goes to an interactive map which shows all the companies who sell these products. The pinpoints also link to articles at the Better Business Bureau as well as news about them on stltoday.com. Be particularly cautious of US Fidelis. I used to work there; they are a SCAM! http://www.stltoday.com/mds/news/html/2632

US Fidelis - Missouri, Wentzville / Fear Factor

The work environment at US Fidelis is very strange. They front a christian based setting; yet the way the entire business is ran breaks or bends to almost breaking point–morally right, ethically right behavior. The sense of urgency to “get the money” and push customers beyond normal sales practices is quite disturbing. From the top, the management is told to manage by instilling fear. The employee fears losing their job if they do not put the fear in the customers. In my 30 years of being in the workforce I had never experienced anything like it before in my life. Most of the...

US Fidelis / Overcharged

Ma

US Fidelis sells warranties that only cover up to the blue book value of your car or even less limits. Sometimes the warranty costs more than your car is worth and you think "WOW" I can just keep getting my car repaired and it will be paid for. Just remember that the warranty company decides if they will pay for it or not. They decide if they think you were overcharged for the repairs (most times they do). They send inspectors out who look at your vehicle when it is torn down to have an engine or transmission rebuilt that usually say, NOPE not the problem and then you get the bill for it being...

US Fidelis / Scam and cheating

Pe

I have been seeing the US Fidelis commercial on TV and became curious about their warranty because my car has over 70, 000 miles on it. I called and some pushy salesman tried to get me to buy RIGHT NOW, like it was life or death. I continued to ask more questions and he continued to ask me for my Visa or MasterCard; I am guessing at least 4 times. I asked that he put some information in the mail so that I could review it and he stammered around telling me that he would not be able to offer this price again. Then he backed off a little and said if I could give my credit or debit account number...

US Fidelis / complete scam

Ee

US Fidelis is horrible. I purchased the gold plan after buying a 2 year old car. My car overheated quickly and horribly so it went right to shop. My car has now been at the shop for over two weeks and they are doing everything to reject my claim! Mechanic has to wait on hold 10-15 minutes everytime he needs to talk to them. Luckily I borrowed a car and didn't rent one cause they only pay for rental after they agree to repair. I would never recommend them to another person. This has been a nightmare!!!

US Fidelis - Missouri, Wentzville / Awful experience

Br

I purchased a warranty from US Fidelis for my car. I made my down payment and I had not received my contract in the mail. I called them and they explain that they are a broker For several warranty companies and the one that was sold to me they did not do business with anymore. They said they flipped me (whatever that means) to a different company but I still had the same coverage. I ask them why they did not call me and tell me this and why I did not receive paperwork. The person said that I was to be notified and apologized. I was like, ok, then my coverage still starts April 3rd, right?...

US Fidelis - Texas, San Antonio / no warranty

they took the money off of my credit card for a down payment of 125.00 for an extended warranty that they did not send me any papers.

US Fidelis / Rip Off

They sent me a letter saying that it was my last chance for an extended warranty for my vehicle, so I had my boyfriend call and see if it was a good deal. The guy on the phone gave him a quote of 2, 400.00 for a pretty good warranty. About two weeks ago, my a/c went out, so I took it in the other day to get it fixed. They told the mechanic that the problem with my vehicle wasn't covered. I went back and looked at the contract, and it said that it was. I called today and they told me that the original contract wasn't for the state of Florida, so it was changed. I didn't get a...
