Stay away from BuyBackTronics. Liars and cheats. Just another sleazebag company out to steal every few dollars they can. They'll make big promises to get your phone in their greedy hands and never give you the promised amount. They won't even negotiate with you. The just deposited into my account considerable less than agreed upon, and make claims that they notified you several times with no response. I guess they assume everyone is stupid and forgot how to read an email. Then when you question them they don't respond, for several days and come off like it's your fault. Do yourself a favor and go to any other company but these thieves!

This company is Amazing. Me and my husband traded in some phones and one of them was linked to our phone company. we agreed the price they offered the customer service girl (I think her name was alice) let us know that all we needed to do get the full amount was unlock it. She didnt have to do all that and she went the extra mile to explain what needed to be done and even gave me the number to my carrier and held the offer for us to get that extra money. Called her to let her know it was done she was super sweet. They could have just paid less for the phone but they made sure we had the full amount from what we were told we would get. Recommend them 100%

I Contacted BuyBacktronics But Was Quite Sckpiticle Of Simoly Hanging My Neck Out Sending A $1,000 Phone In Completely Blind. However In My 70+ Years On This Earth No Company Treated Me With Such Care Honesty Fairness, Even After Receiving The Phone Once It Was Inspected Upped Their Quote The Agent Alexander Was The Nicest Clear With What Procedure I Need To Do To Complete This Buy Back. Alexander Is Such A Professional Yet Also Very Personable, Treating Me With Real Sincerity And Care. Lastly Her Patience And Concern For Me Was Truly Conveyed They Have A Valuable Employee In Alexander. I'm 3,000 Miles Away From Fl Yet She Gave Me Confidence And The Feeling We Were Next Door.

Please do not use this company, they are a scam, I sent them an iMac in perfectly condition and they said that the screen was cracked. I paid for insurance just to have a peace of mind. Now that I got the device back with the screen completely broken they refuse to file a claim for me. Since I didn't accept their low offer for my iMac it looks like they didn't wrap my device properly and it got super damage on the way back, or probably mishandled the device in their office. The customer service supervisor Iman was super rude and kept interrupting me when I was talking, didn't pay attention to any of my concerns and just kept saying there is nothing we can do. Hopefully I'm the last person they do this to, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Sent in a phone with zero scratches on the screen and back of the phone with pictures to prove as such. Also sent it inside the original box it came in to prevent damage in transit. When they received my phone they claimed it arrived in poor condition and thus diminished the price of my original trade in by more than 20% of what was granted. The company has replied to my feedback and wish I had the ability to upload pictures of what my phone was sent in as, then the photos sent to me by the company which depicted "dust" on the screen then a 3rd batch of photos that magically showed the finest scratches on the screen. Again, just heed warning that they may pull a stunt like this with you if you utilize them for this service. This is a scam.

They quote higher than usual trade-in rates knowing that they will not honor them. My device was in a $45 case and had a $50 screen protector for all but two minutes when I first opened the box last year. Remove the case and screen protector and you'd find a brand new device. I even shipped the device to this company in the case and with the screen protector applied to ensure it arrived perfectly. Upon arrival, they promptly reclassified it to "Fair" and reduced the trade-in value by over $100. Don't waste your time with this company. They'll give you a better-than-average quote only to disappoint you in the hopes you'll just accept the average value you'd get from more reputable companies that don't charge you for trade-in materials and expect you to print out an "eCheck" from your home printer.

Seller beware! Sent in my AirPods to sell to these guys. At first, they offered me $27 for my AirPods that was in good condition with minor scratches. What these guys don't tell you is to constantly check your email for the status of your device, especially when you have a busy lifestyle. I received an email one week prior to receiving only $6 via PayPal to tell me that the AirPods I sent in were downgraded from "good" to "fair"'because it was "found to have numerous scratches around the charging case of the device." Those "numerous scratches" were just scuffs that happens over time from normal wear and tear, and that is what the "good" condition details on the website. I highly suggest you guys do your homework and think twice before you do business with any device buyback company. I'm out $21 thanks to their deceptive practices. I'm hoping you guys get shut down for running a quick scam on your customers.

Sent in excellent quality iPhone 6s Plus, original box, new earbuds, cord, plug and instructions. Obviously a used phone is going to be "used." They offered $96. When they got the phone--they stated numerous screen scratches, white spots on screen and under 50% battery capacity...new offer $31-their quoted price for a broken phone, stating a customer would expect "flawless." Granted there were some tiny scratches you could see if you held it to the light, "just right," including on larger one that was returned with the phone. There are no white spots. Period. Not even using a magnifying glass and the battery health is at 86%. They just think that because you have sent the phone in, you'll accept whatever they offer. They offered $5 more as a courtesy. Still well under their quoted price for good condition. They did return promptly, I will give them that. This is a scam...get the phone; change the offer for next to nothing. Don't do business with this company. I bet the great reviews are from the company.

Great company to work with. I received their initial offers, then sent in my iPhone 6+ and an iPhone SE for evaluation. They agreed both were flawless but found they were not "unlocked" as I had indicated and would be worth less. Turns out I was misunderstanding what an "unlocked" phone was. They instructed me to contact my carriers and request them to unlock the phones, which I did. They held the phones as this process took a few days. Within about (4) days, they rechecked the phones, found them both now unlocked, and paid their original offers made to me. I would urge future customers to carefully read the information regarding "unlocked" to fully understand what is meant...it doesn't just mean the SIM card is removed. This was a totally positive experience for me...I communicated only by email, but they were always, friendly, responsive, and understanding. Their offering prices were exceptionally higher than other reseller companies. I was offered $50 or less for by others for my 6+ flawless iPhone, but BBT offered me $86. I am a thoroughly happy customer and will not hesitate to use them again.

Your device was received, inspected and powered on.
Upon careful inspection, bright white spots appears on the top-half of the screen. This may be a symptom of excess pressure exerted to the screen and may increase in size and intensity overtime with use. As a result, the overall market value of the device is affected and the screen assembly will need to be replaced.
Additionally, your device was found to have light non-removable residue on the screen. When we go to resell the device as flawless the buyer will expect a device with no signs of use, as such, the overall market value of the device has been affected
The trade-in quote has been amended from $91 to $28 to account for our findings.

This is all *** - I refused their offer, so then they said we'll give you $33 but we can't do better because your phone is damaged. I said please return my phone, thinking geez maybe it got damaged in shipping somehow (though doubtful). I got it back, and it is still flawless, no white spots, no residue ("non-removable residue" on glass?), my screen looks like the day I bought it. Not one scratch. BEWARE. These guys offer you a great price, then after you've made the effort, they lie to give you a third of the original offer. I gave them one star as they shipped the phone back at their expense, otherwise they deserve zero stars.

I was recommended to BuyBackTronics from a tech savvy friend who had previously had a positive experience with this company. Since I had a flawless iPad that I had rarely used and it was just laying around, I decided to sell it. I had purchased this iPad brand new and like all my devices I immediately encased the iPad in a hard case to protect it. So this iPad had always been protected in the case. Since I was mailing the device via UPS, I had emailed BuyBackTronics to ask if it was okay to send the iPad back in the case. The response I received was I was allowed to send the iPad back any way I wanted to in order to ensure it's safe arrival. So I sent the iPad back in the case and also padded the box to make sure the iPad was not damaged. BuyBackTronics received my iPad and I got an email saying that my $75 offer had been decreased to now an offer of $14! They said the iPad was not flawless and that it had a white spot on the screen due to excessive pressure on the screen. I rarely used this iPad and it was always in the case so there is no way the iPad should have had that damage. I immediately responded that I wanted my iPad sent back to me. Today I received the iPad back from BuyBackTronics and immediately upon opening the box I noticed that the case was damaged. What it looked like was someone forcefully tried to get my iPad out of the case therefore damaging the case and thus the iPad. When I turned the iPad on, I immediately noticed a round white spot on the screen which was not there when I sent in the iPad. The location of the spot exactly looks like a large finger pressure caused by someone using excessive pressure probably trying to get the case off. Therefore a BuyBackTronics employee was the one that caused the damage to my unit. In hind sight, I should have taken the iPad out of the case before shipping. BuyBackTronics should have been careful when taking the iPad out of the case. They are the ones who damaged my iPad and now I have a damaged iPad back which I cannot sell.

On July 18 I shipped an iPhone 8 to the company using their supplied ups label. It was received July 21 @ 12:22 PM by AHMED This company had quoted me a value of $83.00 for my iPhone 8. As of today I have not received this payment. I have contacted the company once and they have not responded.

Have not received my $498 promised for my phone June 3 I sent my phone to buybacktonics.com they said I would receive $498 for my phone all of a sudden my phone is lost I keep calling and they keep telling me that they would let me know what was going on by email I have not heard anything from them I would like my money

I sent an iphone 11pro 64GB and they told me they didn't receive anything and wouldn't honor the $505 commitment we had. I started a trade-in for an Iphone 11pro 64GB on October 30th with Buybacktronics. I sent the Iphone through Fedex (Tracking: XXXXXXXXXXXX) November 5th and it arrived to their facility on November 10th. I received a message saying that the box was empty and the product didn't arrive. They promised to send a video which at the time I was writing this, wasn't sent.

I was quoted online $60 for my samsung galaxy S7edge, I got $8 I had my phone laying around and figured I would see if there was a company willing to buy it, after doing some research I found this company with the best price as well as the better reviews so I continued with the process, they sent me a prepaid label, I boxed up my phone in the original box with additional screen protectors and waited. i then got an email that they sent me $8, $8! This phone had a brand new screen and battery, I called customer service and they said it was due to screen burn? Um when i had the phone I never saw any outlines or images on the screen that could have been burned into it, and I had never got an email indicating the lowball "offer" with that explanation.

This company contracted an offer to purchase my phone. I sent my pristine phone to them to complete contract for purchase, they damaged my phone This company contracted an offer to purchase my cellular phone. I safely boxed and packaged my phone as instructed. A few days later, I received an email stating my pristine phone was damaged and they were now offing almost 1/3rd less to purchase than what they had contracted to incentivise my sending the device. Since they have posession of my phone, I am sure they're damaging it and tossing it about their parking lot to substantiate their claims of a damaged devise. I will provide ComplaintsBoard.com photographs of a pristine device being shipped to this scam company. ComplaintsBoard.com needs to jettison this company from your list as their reputation is akin to bait and switch companies and used car sales companies. A week ago I requested retrun of my device yet they refuse to return it. Is this service? Is this the type of company representative of a A+ rating? These people are likely criminals and deserve a harsher scrutiny. The miryad complaints regarding this scam company here and online merit a F- rating

I refused there 10$ offer and now they refuse to send me back my phone. When the offer was originaly 565$ listed on flipsy as a buy of bad imei phone I bought a Samsung s20 plus from a gentleman and after 3 days it was blacklisted. I paid 400$ for it. So to recoup some of my cash I searched online for a buyer of blacklisted phones. And found buybacks. On a site called flipsys. I sent my device to them at 7.40 8/05. I received a email from them on 8/12 saying that my device had a bad imei number and they offered me 10.00$ for it. I responded back instantly with a email saying please return my device. And they responded back saying that they could not buy it and they were not sending it back. I closed is a copy of all of the emails and the brief conversation we,ve had. Also here is a link where I found them online as a company that bought blacklusted phones.***. Im just wanting my phone back. Thats all. I paid 400$ for it. I'm going to try and contact customer service tomorrow and see what is said. I just don't see how they can bait and switch me like that. Offer me over 500 then a counter offer of 10$ and when I refuse they tell me there just going to keep it. And I'm out 400$ in any other circumstance it would be a felony charge.
