This afternoon I went to the Burger King in Salinas California. The one located on 1589 N. Sanborn Rd. I was in the drive thru and made my order. When I went to the window to pay it was over $45.00. I asked the cashier why was the amount so high. She began to tell well your ordered 2 crispy chickens and I was like ok. And during the time she was telling me that she kept hitting the counter. I waited and she gave my order. I opened the bag and waited for the cashier to come back. When she did I explained to her that the order was too big and I told her. I ordered for my parents, sister, niece, and myself so it should be 5 sandwiches. I told her I don't want the BBQ crispy chickens because I did not order that. She said you were asked to read the screen and you agreed that that was your order. I told her I understand that but this is too much food and I don't want the sandwiches I didn't order. She was raising her voice and asked me for my card. I gave it to her and she basically threw it at me. I told her (by then I was upset) stop treating me like that ever since I came up you have been slamming your hands on the counter and now you are throwing the card at me. You need to stop. She said I am not slamming the counter and walked away.
In all my years, that I have been a customer I have never been treated in such a manner. I have always tried to be respectful of the personnel because I know they work hard.
And during this pandemic time we are all under lots of stress. I will never go there again because that is not great customer service.
The receipt is not legible so I can't even send you a picture. All this occurred around 12:30 pm.
